This lady was absolutely terrible--when my friend accidentally dropped her drink, instead of just fixing it like any decent person would, Kaylee acted snarky and passive-aggressive like it was some huge crime. She flat-out refused to remake the drink until an older man had to step in and demand it. Completely unprofessional and rude. If you want terrible service and an attitude problem, this is your spot. This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations to get coffee from - the employees are always patient as I'm sometimes indecisive in what to get and ordering ahead with the Starbucks app makes things super easy; they always have the order ready within 5-10 minutes tops! Usually I only come to Starbucks to complete the star dashes and earn points...and check out the seasonal merchandise! This has got to be one of the SLOWEST and most mistake making store. I just can't justify coming here anymore. This was my go-to Starbucks. This morning I got a rude barista who chastised me very publicly for trying to get my own drink carrier. I assume it's a policy that when you order multiple drinks on a mobile order, you should be expected to wait in line and try to flag down a busy barista to get a drink carrier so that you can actually carry your drinks out of the store. You know, waiting in line to get a drink carrier almost defeats the idea of putting in a mobile order, doesn't it? I get the idea of not wasting drink carriers, but common sense and a little customer service would be appreciated. In any event, there are lots of Starbucks and other coffee shops around town where you can get better customer service and you don't get a side of attitude with the $5 cup of coffee. I'll gladly go there instead. read more

I told her that isn't what I want and tried to tell her the correct way I want but she is start giving me attitude. I never see anyone in Starbucks gave attitude to guest and told me that I have attitude. I never wrote the comments in my life and this is first time because such horrible experiences in this location. read more

Perhaps it's a strange connection I feel to this particular Starbucks that is compelling me to update my last review of them from 4 to 5 stars. But what can I say? I come here at least three times a week and I consistently experience kind and professional customer service as well as consistently delicious coffee--and that kind of service and product three times a week over a year says a lot about an establishment. Other things: - There is no drive-thru at this location, which is maybe why I love it so much! It allows your coffee to gently interrupt your day by forcing you to park your car, go into the shop, chat with a barista, and THEN enjoy your coffee. But I'm a sucker for the experience of something, even if it is a quick coffee run. ;) - They have specials a lot, and I still haven't figured out how to track when this occurs (maybe the Starbucks app?). I've come here on several occasions and left having paid for only one of my two drinks because they were running a deal of some sort. - If you're staying a little while to get work done, their wifi runs well and has never given me any problems! Surprised that one would have so much to say about a Starbucks? Me too, but I can't help myself. This is hands down my favorite Starbucks. There's somethin' special about it! read more

These baristas are so sweet and kind. This location gets PACKING in the morning and they always make drinks fast and they taste great. If your order is taking a while they are sure to inform you of the situation (or if there's a TON of mobile orders) and they are more than willing to fix things if there's a slight oops. (Even if it's mobile order self error) One of the management staff mates even knew my order for quite some time! It's kind of sweet to have someone know what you like and to care about it at all for that matter- I have to curb my coffee addiction for pregnancy but overall this place is great and the baristas are the best in town CANT wait to go back to my norm! read more

This is by far the worst Starbucks in town primarily because they don't have a drive thru so you end up waiting far too long for your order or don't get what you ordered . I also noticed that the staff here in particular is very inept , chaotic and disorganized . The few times Ive come here when I'm in the area I'll end up waiting 15 minutes for a single drink when it's not all that very busy or they get my order wrong and say that someone named Jim " accidentally took it .It happens ! "So I paid for a croissant Jim stole and I had to wait 20 minutes for it . That ish is crazy. It's also in an odd part of town so There's often ppl loafing around vaping on the patio so as you're walking in you inhale their second hand cotton candy vape clouds ... not lovely. Stop here on occasion for a little coffee-pick-me-up. There is usually a bit of a line, but they work quickly so not too big of a deal. They have plenty of seating but not very conducive to private conversation as the tables are inordinately close together. The service is always friendly and fast. Overall, your average Starbucks experience, which is a-ok in my book. One final note: I saw a previous reviewer mention a drive-thru but there is no drive thru at this location--wondering if they were thinking of 36th and State Street as that Starbucks most certainly does have a drive-thru? read more

This Starbucks seems like an older location. There is no drive-through, and electrical outlets are in short supply. Either the seating arrangement keeps you away from the outlets, or they're just not there. There was only one outlet near the three tables I was sitting at. But it's still Starbucks. Quality drinks, friendly staff, and good service. It's always a pleasant atmosphere, and great for a little mid-day break. read more

Service at this location with Uber eats has been awesome until today. To make my $15 for free delivery I had ordered two drinks and three food items. I received a partial order with no drinks. I had to re-order my coffee and tea so I had something here at work. I called and told the manager what happened and he was very pleasant guy. He apologized and offered to speak with his team but there was nothing else he can do. I've had many issues with the missing item or two or wrong item with other Starbucks locations. Yup a Starbucks - and i love me a good coffee. Stopped in here on an afternoon on the way to take a walk on the greenbelt and i needed a little pick me up! Staff was very nice, the coffee was good, and they were sweet even tho i was using a "freebie" It is on the corner of state street, but to get back out of the parking lot and head left on state street can be a bit of a challenge! But everyone is friendly and lets you in and out of the street. The location is pretty big and the patio outside is pretty good sized as well. read more

You know, I try to stick with local businesses, but I can't help my addiction to a consistently great tasting Americano... This is the location I frequent most when I'm not traveling. The staff are friendly, and if you visit frequently will greet you by name. The space is roomy with plenty of tables, a couple of comfy chairs, and one table that is big enough to spread out your work. The WiFi is your standard AT&T pay-for-time-online. Remodel looks okay but this place is always backed up, even when it's slow. They have 2 cash registers but one is obviously just for looks. Now, please do not be confused; there will be an employee standing in front of both cash registers, but they cannot, under any circumstances, ring you up using the register on the left. Meanwhile the general vibe I get is that I am lucky just be served there. As if asking for a coffee in this starbucks is some obscure out of line request. Very disappointed this morning as a longtime customer when I was called by name and handed 'egg bites'. When I left I realized the order was incorrect. I returned to retrieve the correct order, the barista announces that ' you must have picked up the wrong order' There was a new employee training and it was interesting and disappointing that 'the customer' was wrong and shamed in front of the other customers. I was handed the order, and it was called out as my order. No apology to me for having to return to the restaurant. I have been a customer for a very long time. There are many choices in location and in coffee shops, I will no longer be a customer at this location. read more

This Starbucks certainly has the best coffee in the North End. I have wasted enough $$ trying to shop with the Mom 'n Pop coffee shops, but always default back to Starbucks. The baristas seem always friendly and on top of their game. The place does get crowded and backed up, but I would rather wait in line rather than regret the $5 I spent on sub-standard coffee and service. read more
