If I could give 0 stars, I would. The worst, slowest service and the drinks are ALWAYS wrong and not fresh and cold. I've been here 3 times in the past 2 weeks. I have no other options near my job, I am stuck with this location. The staff needs to be trained on giving better customer service and not standing around doing nothing when there is a long line in the drive-thru. Also, the drinks are never made with the correct amount of ingredients ordered. You pay $10 bucks for a drink that isn't even made right. It's ridiculous. The manager should be fired. I'm so disappointed in the service that I received at the drive through of this location today. I used to work for Starbucks and have never been treated this way, ever. My husband sent me to redeem the offer for 50% off between specific hours and when I went to pay, the promo required to scan the app. I pulled out my app and apparently the barista wasn't able to use my app because I hadn't used it in so many days? Okay, so I said I'd log in with my husband's real quick since he sent me and must have received the offer on his app. While I'm logging in, she asks me if I'll be using the card on my app for the payment. I said sure we can use that one for the charge... she then hands me my drinks and says have a great day!....... I said, "I haven't given you the app for the offer yet. I just explained to her that I was getting it pulled up." She said, "Well you I already used your card, so now you can't do it." I was so completely lost for words. I told her that her actions were extremely deceptive.. to which she simply wished me a good day again and closed the window. I still have no words. I understand you're busy, but you can take 2 minutes to help a customer with what they came for. I had come to purchase in response to a promotion that my husband and I were marketed for by Starbucks... and via this barista, left feeling completely taken advantage of. I get we all have bad days, but I was nothing but kind in this interaction, and if you're not able to provide the customer service you were hired for, perhaps you should take the day off. read more

They aren't corporate robots, they're people that are more than happy to be honest, genuine and amazing people. Never a dull conversatio. This is my go to Starbucks while I am visiting and only come here because it's right down the street from the hotel I stay at. While I will say the employees are normally friendly they absolutely take forever to get your drinks or food. Today was a great example walked in the place is dead ordered 2 drinks and 2 breakfast sandwiches. Coffee order took 5 mins for 2 very simple drinks and then over 10 mins for the food. Staff were friendly , this location is One of 2 remaining Starbucks with a drive through in the area. So dad that Most of the others are inside stores like Albertsons or Target now and that's super inconvenient when you have a car full of kids or running to work and need to grab a cup and go. The only reason we stopped here was that we were at a neighborhood business. Cafe mojo was opening next week down the street. I ordered 2 drinks a tall pumpkin spice latte with an extra shot and a vanilla latte with 1/2 toffee nut syrup and 1//2 vanilla ,whip and caramel drizzle. They charged me $1.00 extra for both drinks so just under $10 One drink was ready and was not full all the way and the other they forgot about so I reminded them and then I checked it and it was not made as requested. It was also sitting in their drive thru window line and I was inside? Not that big of a deal, but honestly they were not that busy ! I would've asked a customer standing waiting if they wanted something else or if they were waiting on something ? I left and we both tried our drinks ( my daughter who has been a Barrista) immediately said this is not even hot enough they must have someone there in training , what a big dissatisfaction and waste of $10 definitely not consistent with other locations. By the far the worst customer service I have ever received at Starbucks. Not a single worker said hello. The girl that took my order stood there staring me and didn't say a word. I gave my order and paid. When my coffee was ready it was placed on the counter and they called my name. I walked up to get it and waited for someone so I could ask for a straw. No one looked at me. So I waited a little longer. I finally politely asked the pay window person if could please have a straw. Again, he did not say a word, looked at me in the eyes, set a straw in the counter and walked away. This is not the caliber of customer service you should receive for a $5 coffee. Very friendly staff compared to other locations such as the Franklin rd location. I ask for my refill tea from the holiday cups that my husband purchased for me by mistake through the drive thru at the Franklin location. They didn't give him a receipt so i had to keep the cup. I go in to get refills at the Franklin location and they give me the wrong one and aren't friendly at all. I go to this location. They ask me if i want it with ice, shaken, and are always so friendly. I only go to this location now. Thank you for being awesome and making me feel comfortable coming in to get my tea! read more

I've been to this specific Starbucks what seems like over 150 times. I've came here after school, after work, or after practice, almost everyday starting in November of 2018. My drink is always correct and good, and there would be rare times when it wasn't good. If your drink isn't good, just go to the Starbucks website customer service, explain, and they give you a very good refund!! For me, the Starbucks app that allows me to order ahead saves me a ton of time rather than waiting in the drive thru line. And the rewards system is awesome, I currently have over 1,000 stars! This place has a classic Starbucks feel. The interior is just bright enough with the typical beiges and greens, plenty of merch, an awesome staff, and plenty of seating. Personally, considering the location I was kind of shocked. It looks smaller than it is from the outside but there is quite a bit of space in there. They have a number of comfortable lounging chairs and more than enough tables including about 3 bar style tables and chairs too. I enjoy this location because it is a good one to take the laptop out and work. It does get busy but the design of the location, it's a rectangular store, helps to cut down on the noice even on the busiest of mornings. read more

Other than traffic on Overland making getting out of the parking lot being a bit dicey at times, I ADORE this Starbucks location. It is my reward spot after surviving shopping at the HELL that is WalMart, which is across the street. They are quick to take your order and on par with wait times at other Starbucks locations in Boise. I've had some great short chats with the folks working the drive up window. read more

This has to be the worst Starbucks in Idaho. I went through the drive thru on one of those rainy days, ordered my $7.00 coffee and left only to get down the road to take a sip of the wrong coffee. I drove back to Starbucks, went through the drive thru again and explained that I had received the wrong coffee. They apologized and said that they would make me another coffee correctly this time. Well, my story should end here but it doesn't. They hand me the coffee and while I'm at the window I take a drink, it's wrong again! At this time I just ask for my money back, after 5 minutes they finally give me a card with a $7.00 credit on it to use at any Starbucks. I end up going to another Starbucks where they know how to make their product only to find that instead of a $7.00 card I was given one with the value of $4.00. This Starbucks is the worst in Boise. What happened to customer service, this place has none. maybe hire some people who know what the hell they're doing especially your shift manager. They have a pumpkin spice drink I was able to order it from two other Starbucks locations, they told me yes it doesn't come out until September 8 but was happy to do it I came to this one and of course the customer is never right. If I'm not desperate to have coffee in this area it'll definitely be Dutch brothers. Can't stress enough how much this location impresses me. They train new staff to err on the side of caution in that they would rather send out a sugar free drink than one with sugar which would harm a diabetic, and better yet, they will ask you questions when preparing drinks to make sure they get your order right the first time. They have always been friendly and caring when I have gone too, which is much unlike the dutch bros a block away. Even if Starbucks in general took over some of my favorite small coffee shops, the stellar training and variety in menu make it hard to stay away. I really like this location, even over the one on W Franklin! Sometimes they have been out of things I order but they try to make up for it and have always been kind to me.
