Bellingham: what a awesome little town (city?). This Starbucks is a little tricky to find, as I didn't see any obvious signage (perhaps there is an ordinance or I just missed the signs--too early in the morning). Unfortunately, I didn't stay for more than a few minutes, but the barista was very efficient and my usual drink tasted like it always does. That is the benefit of not wanting to try something different sometimes when one is traveling. I just know what to expect and I received just that--no second guessing what is on the menu or what it might taste like. When I just need COFFEE, this place delivered (well, at least into my hand at the end of the bar). read more

Tried out this Starbucks location for the first time today. I have to say I was not impressed. Do not expect comfy, big armed chairs or couches at this location. Instead they have wooden tables and small wooden elementary school styled hard wood, cushion free chairs. Even though this location was not busy thr main room and the unisex bathroom were both pretty dirty. I ordered a tall, extra hot, salted carmel mocha, with extra whip, in a grande cup. What I recieved was a Luke warm, almost zero whip, in a grande cup (and no the whip wasnt melted in, i opened the lid to look as soon as the coffee was handed to me). The coffee flavor itself was pretty good, but overshadowed by the fact it was luke warm. The staff barista that took my order seemed borderline friendly, but pretty vacant. This store moved across the parking lot into a larger space with a Drive-thru in early November (2018). This was my first visit to the larger, better equipped, new digs and I have to say that my first impression was very positive. Yes, it is another Starbucks, BUT.... The staff here is amazing! Friendly, professional & efficient. Plus, they do reserve pours!! Right across the street from a few hotels, so it is nice for visitors. read more

Well hidden off the road. If you are in front of TJMaxx then it is directly behind you. Coffee was excellent. Store was almost empty at 6:20 am. The barista was efficient and we were enjoying our coffees quickly. There are a few working tables and one large group table for studying or meeting or simply relaxing. No soft chairs here. This is a pretty standard Starbucks if you can find it. There are no visible signs on Meridian to guide you. read more

So irritated and annoyed that American Starbucks do not accept Canadian bank cards or debit cards as they call it. Wanted to load my Starbucks card and could only use my Visa card which was also denied due to the chip. This location now has a clover machine. They do not have any of the reserved coffees as yet but will soon. They have many different snacks as well as chocolates not sold at the Canadian retailers. Also, check out the discount rack at the back of the store. They're are great deals and finds! read more

This Starbucks location is the worst of Bellingham. It's sad because it's the closest to me and I have to use it occasionally if another location is out of what I need. They always have new employees who don't know what customer service is, and their drinks are never consistent. Are they even being trained? I've had to repeatedly complain on Starbucks website because of how bad the drinks are made. Needless to say since I've decided not to go back to this location I'd like to warn others and save them from the very rude customer service and sloppy made drinks here. read more

Super friendly, greeted us as we walked in, busy place! I think because it's near all the big box stores, Costco, Best Buy, Macy's Furniture store, it gets a lot of traffic. Staff is friendly and the place is spotless. read more

Last Friday was not my typical day. First off my medication was not at the pharmacy. Then I had a meaty chicken strip that tasted like di*k. Then I slowly make my way to starbucks to get a chocolate croissant and to use their wifi. And when I got there I got my delicious creamy chocolate croissant and I sat down to eat it. This Starbuck's Store is the closest to my home. My wife and would walk to it. We have been going to the store for years (both locations). The store is poorly managed. You do not know when the lobby will be open or close. The last time I went, I did a mobile order. The lobby was closed. The app was accepting mobile orders. I had to wait 10 minutes in the drive thru to get my coffee, lukewarm by that time. I asked a few questions and was rudely treated by the person at the window. I am a Stockholder of Starbuck's stock. I do not appreciate the rude treatment. Also, the month of May was Military Month. This store had no signage up about it. The other Starbuck's Stores in town did. My wife and I are both Military Vets. Last, I talked to one on the employees after their work schedule and they said things in the store were shaky and bulling was occurring with a few of the employees. We have decided to not never go back to this store. read more

Good parking, but kind of difficult to access quickly.

I am giving this place 5 stars 'cause today the guy I am dating and I came in here to get some drinks before heading out on the road before our Portland road trip. There was a diva in front of me and I put her in her place 'cause she was treating the lady at the til like crap. Of course the lady at the til appreciated that I stuck up for her and thanked me appropriately even though it wasn't needed. Service was speedy and they made my drink with a smile. I'm always amused how they have different pastries in the US vs. Canada. The pastries were 25 cents more here than at home, however, better selection. read more

One of the best services I received in a long time at a Starbucks. The cashier was genuinely friendly and double checked if my drink was hot which is crucial since I forget so many times to tell them if I want iced or hot. The cashier also kindly explained to me what the difference was between cold brew and iced coffee. Unfortunately they ran out of cold brew but the cashier forgot to tell me before I paid so she gave me a $4 gift card for the inconvenience. I wish my receipt had the name of the cashier so I can give her a shout out but there's only a number. All I can say is great training and service at this location. read more
