However, my annoyance quickly faded when I tried some of their drinks. I took advantage of their July specials and tried the nuttier white chocolate macadamia and caramel hazelnut latte. I find that coffee places can be hit or miss in terms of consistency, particularly at drive-throughs, but this place has hit the spot every time. It his the trifecta of being affordable, expedient, and plentiful in their flavors/variety. Mugshots has quickly skyrocketed to the top of my coffee spots to hit up in town. When I arrived, there was only one car on each side of the stand--hardly a busy time. The car in front of me left shortly after I pulled up, so there was no reason for a delay. A different car pulled up behind me right after I got to the window. When I reached the window, I received absolutely no acknowledgment. No greeting, no "we'll be right with you," nothing. The owner stepped out of the stand on my side, continued talking with the baristas, and still did not acknowledge my presence. She then walked past my car and took the order of the vehicle behind me, completely ignoring the customer already waiting at the window. For nearly six minutes, not one person--neither the owner nor the multiple baristas inside--said a single word to me or made any attempt to take my order. Instead, they began preparing the order for the car that had arrived after me while I continued to sit there with no service whatsoever. This level of disregard is unacceptable. When a stand is not busy and several employees are present, being ignored entirely--especially while someone who arrived later is served first--is beyond unprofessional. I left extremely disappointed and frustrated, and this experience has seriously made me reconsider returning

The location was a little tricky since the intersection is busy and it can be hard to get in or out depending on what side you come from. Also, the train blocks the intersection as well so the wait to get in can be a bit. The store itself is quaint and clean with outdoor seating and ordering in both directions. The barista was kind and took our orders efficiently. The drinks came out within 6 minutes so were relatively fast. We ordered a caramel macchiato and a whole milk cappuccino. Both were so delicious, the espresso shots were made perfectly and flavoring was on point! We were so impressed we would drive all the way up north for another go in the future. Overall, great little steamboat coffee shop! Would definitely recommend as it lives up to they hype.

Bagels and sandwiches are good, but I'd recommend the rosemary bagel in particular! Then we waited another 10 minutes before paying and they still took time to give us our drinks after that. I got white coffee and I work at a coffee stand as a barista so I know what white coffee shots are supposed to taste like and it is obvious that they didn't pull the shots correctly because my coffee is bitter and tastes like water.
