I love this awesome little drive-by coffee spot! Having tried a variety in the area, I was initially a little skeptical, and, if I'm being honest, a little annoyed that this place was not closer to I-5. However, my annoyance quickly faded when I tried some of their drinks. I took advantage of their July specials and tried the nuttier white chocolate macadamia and caramel hazelnut latte. I find that coffee places can be hit or miss in terms of consistency, particularly at drive-throughs, but this place has hit the spot every time. It his the trifecta of being affordable, expedient, and plentiful in their flavors/variety. Mugshots has quickly skyrocketed to the top of my coffee spots to hit up in town. I have been to Mug Shots Coffee many times since it's close to my home, but yesterday's experience was unacceptable. When I arrived, there was only one car on each side of the stand--hardly a busy time. The car in front of me left shortly after I pulled up, so there was no reason for a delay. A different car pulled up behind me right after I got to the window. When I reached the window, I received absolutely no acknowledgment. No greeting, no "we'll be right with you," nothing. The owner stepped out of the stand on my side, continued talking with the baristas, and still did not acknowledge my presence. She then walked past my car and took the order of the vehicle behind me, completely ignoring the customer already waiting at the window. For nearly six minutes, not one person--neither the owner nor the multiple baristas inside--said a single word to me or made any attempt to take my order. Instead, they began preparing the order for the car that had arrived after me while I continued to sit there with no service whatsoever. This level of disregard is unacceptable. When a stand is not busy and several employees are present, being ignored entirely--especially while someone who arrived later is served first--is beyond unprofessional. I left extremely disappointed and frustrated, and this experience has seriously made me reconsider returning read more

Grew up driving by this little spot as a child with the occasional stop for my mom to get coffee. Now I'm an adult and get to enjoy their coffee great quality, decently priced, and the staff is always so so pleasant, friendly, and personable. Their iced white chocolate mocha does not disappoint and my boyfriend loves the chocolate blended coffee drinks. *idk if they still have it but if you get the chance, try the Aloha coffee! In regards to Ferndale, best tasting coffee one can purchase. I recently discovered their "white coffee", which has a completely different taste and more caffeine than traditional roasted beans. Pair that with some chocolate and one awesome cinnamon roll, and dessert is served. They also serve the usual choice of drinks, and the coffee truly tastes great. Strictly walk up & drive through. An awesome spot to swing by on the way to work. Very friendly folks too. As a true coffee snob, I recommend. Traditional americano misto is also worth trying. Delish. read more

What a surprise! Friendly staff came out to greet us while we were in the car lined up to take our order -- the entire experience was so quaint. They really do a great job with their coffee. I frequent this place for a large coffee with cream and a bagel with schmear. Their coffee is brilliantly delicious. I've had a couple of espresso shots and it's pretty good. The drive through has two lanes and there's a walk up window as well. Even with heavy traffic in the mornings, they're pretty quick about getting people a good breakfast and on their way. read more

Ahh good ol' mugshots. Very friendly people, very good location, nice building makes this a great place to go get a cup of coffee. My only complaint about mugshots is that its pretty pricey for a drink that you could get somewhere else. In other words its not that special of a menu.
