Yesterday was my first experience was Cruising Coffee and it was a good one. Staff were friendly and nice. Today, staff were friendly and nice but when presented with the card unit, the employee had already put in a 20% tip and before I realized what I had done, I had already paid it. I was not happy with this at all and feel like I was taken advantage of. You don't get the same tip as someone who waits on my table. We had 15 seconds max of interaction as I waited in my car. If I decide to tip you, it's up to me. Tipping comes from generosity but this felt like a shakedown. read more

$30. For 2 coffees and 2 breakfast sandwiches. $30. They said their prices went up...I guess so. This is a regular order for us and in November it was $24.... Which is also expensive. We can go to cedar's restaurant for a full breakfast and bottomless coffee for that. We've noticed the customer service quality has declined over the past couple years. In the past we didn't mind paying a little extra because the quality and baristas made it awesome. Now, most can't be bothered to write the orders down then mess them up. I'm all for remembering orders.... But only if you remember them. A bagel sandwich on an under/not toasted bagel isn't very good. Iced mocha that isn't stirred is just a luke warm coffee. Cups filled so full that coffee leaks out the top, and stains work clothes. Gawd forbid you ask them to fix it, then you get attitude. Very much a "not my problem" atmosphere. Yum | On-the-go meals $ We discovered this place on our way back from Squamish, CAN. We gassed up on the opposite side of the freeway and were in need of caffeine. Nice cute little stop with friendly faces. We ordered coffee drinks and deli sandwiches. It was about a ten minute wait to get our deli sandwiches and coffee drinks - not bad! I really loved that cool coffee cream drink. So good!!! Their deli sandwiches are yummy, and they can be ordered in half or full size. I'd come back next time I travel that far north in Washington. read more

Been here a few more times and they have definitely improved! Even with several cars on both sides it really didn't take long, even though it seemed like everyone was ordering food and coffee. Staff has all been friendly and smiling. Most importantly the coffee was spot on!! I usually get a hot mocha, they have been made well. They also have shakes, italian sodas and much more. read more

Today I visited the location all new staff it seemed, and let's just say the experience was awful... I ordered three beverages and the staff had me repeat my order multiple times I asked for a pup cup per usual rico was amp'd up ready for his pup cup and lovings from everyone they wanted to charge me for the pup cup I typically get no whipped cream on my drinks and they were like well it's a dollar okay no big deal however I've never been charged for this ever and they caught an attitude when I said this talking about store policy okay fantastic my drinks come with whipped cream I'll take the whip cream on the side problem solved no additional dollar now why wouldn't have been easier to just give me the whip cream that typically comes on my beverage in a cup? Instead of making a stink over a lid with a dollop of whipped cream for a 2lb dog? If this is how you treat a regular of over a year spending 20 dollars in the morning and 20 dollars at night I can gladly visit woods or Starbucks where they never make a fuss over a pup cup or have me repeat myself. read more

When one is used to the typical jaunts such as....McStarbucks...Caribou...Peets...yada yada yada, it's a real treat to stop off at a newbie. Especially if you are a newbie in the area. On a trip visiting family who live in the area, I was at a serious loss when there was no Starbucks in the area. I'm talking-real...sit down coffee shop Starbucks. Not one that is connected to Hagen. No, thank you. Making a dip away from corporate conglomerates I chose to do the drive thru. Because lord knows, I don't do the drive thru, but when my sister swore by this particular stand I couldn't say no. And when it comes to coffee, I am addicted and will go MILES to get a good cup. The drive thru was quick, painless and for three drinks I couldn't get over the price. For an iced chai tea latte, iced americano and tall redeye, it came out under $10. For three drinks-you're not breaking the bank. And to make matters even better in your favor--the coffee is solid. It's not bitter, not watered down, the sweetener is just right (or so I heard). Overall, a pleasant experience with the Cruisin' Coffee joint. This little octagon has me smiitten and then next time I'm in town I'll know to hop in someone's car and head on over for a good cup of joe. read more

We stopped here on our way back from Canada. I was in the mood for some coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I got a vanilla latte and a ham/cheese croissant. Hubby got a bacon/cheese croissant. Everything was delicious! Service was great, even though one of the ladies mixed up my order but she was very nice about it and she apologized and corrected the issue immediately. The girls that work here are so sweet! They're always energetic and upbeat, which is so great so early in the morning. I usually order a unsweetened iced green tea, and they have two choices: almond and jasmine. I used to go with the Jasmine but one of the ladies suggested that I'd try the almond green tea, and now it's the only thing I get! I haven't had a bad experience here! I'm rating four stars because although the service and beverages are good, I haven't been to a coffee shop where that wasn't true. It's nothing over the top, but it gets the job done, that's for sure! read more

Let me start off by saying that I love Cruisin' Coffee. I like the convenience of so many stands all over the county, the hours, and the fact that there is now one in Ferndale. However, my last couple of experiences at the new Cruisin' Coffee in Ferndale have been lacking. The first time, my card was charged $5 too much. I looked at the receipt and handed it back to the barista who was hardly apologetic and seemed to be annoyed that I even said anything. I would have understood the mistake if they were busy, but they were not. I went back a couple months later when I was in Ferndale and was helped by a newbie. I don't mind having a newbie make my drink but it seemed like there was a serious lack of training. No one was even near her to help her punch in my order, let alone make my drink. When I heard "how do I make this" while sitting in my car, I should have known that my drink wasn't going to be any good. Will I keep going back? Probably... but maybe not to the Ferndale location. read more
