Phenomenal coffee... beans roasted daily... cost less than $3.00 for most drinks up to 20 oz... Why did it take me so long to find this place!! So I live about a half mile from The Bean Stop, and since it looks attached to an auto shop I have never felt compelled to try it. What a mistake that was! The coffee beans are roasted at their other location on Birchwood, one pound at a time, which is pretty great. If you happen to go by there in the morning the scent is sure to wake you up! So latte's, cappuccino's, mocha's, etc. are all $2.75 or less up to 20 ounces and that is a steal for sure! The people that work there are friendly and easy going. Knowing that this little stand opens daily at 6am is often enough motivation for me to get out of bed. They have all your coffee & tea needs as well as Italian soda, muffins, breakfast pastries, chips & snacks. And here's the kicker that isn't advertised in larger print, it's ALL ORGANIC and they roast their beans right there. What's also nice about the coffee here is it's consistently good with a caramel roasted flavor and the espressos always have that delicious layer of crema. Not to mention, you can get any drink up to 20oz with 2 shots for $2.50. That's such an excellent deal considering the price of coffee on campus. Finally, the location is fabulous as it's right across the street from pizza pipeline and the bus stop is right there. Moved to Portland 2 years ago and i still wait for my bellingham visits to stock up on coffee from the bean stop. Their beans are roasted exceptionally and a great value to purchase to take home. And their prices for coffee are the last hope for a good deal in this world. Any drink up until a 20oz is always 2.50$....2 shots included. That concept would be atleast 6 bucks with other major coffee locations.....which do not deliver the quality that bean stop does. read more

Today I came to the Bean Stop for the first time to grab an iced drink for some errands and I wasn't expecting anything other than a typical drive up coffee stand but this place definitely exceeds expectations. The first thing I noticed was that you can get any size drink anywhere from an 8 ounce to a 32 ounce, this is awesome for me on days that I either want just a sip or need that big gulp sized coffee for finals. The barista was super nice, and the coffee is very well priced. I got a 24 ounce, iced London fog and it is for sure one of the better ones I've had. I always order a London Fog from new places because it's simple, and difficult to get wrong. They use high quality tea and it was more flavorful than a lot of places that I've ordered the same thing from. This might just be my new coffee stop. read more
