Spacious coffee shop with wonderful natural lighting. Sadly the coffee was mediocre. Brown sugar vanilla latte iced ($6.25) - heavy handed on the brown sugar vanilla so the coffee flavor was lost.

This coffee shop has a great open concept, with seating all on the main floor and a wrap around indoor balcony second floor there is plenty of room to study and stay a while. The coffee itself had a great flavor combination and the pastries were buttery and so delectable. You can easily order online to skip the line but if you have any questions the baristas or more then willing to help you. The food itself is a little expensive but definitely worth it.

It's the most amazing coffee shop in this area! My drink is delicious-fresh pastries and a wonderful atmosphere! There is so much seating on the lower and upper floors, too! Service was friendly and SUPER fast even with a long line. This will be my go-to hangout, coffee/ pastry place in Bellingham from now on :-)

Great coffee - definitely recommend their Chai coffee! Burritos are delicious and goes great with their avocado toast! This place reminds me of home. Safe spaces, created to welcome one and all! It's the coffee, food, and vibe that gives this amazing place credibility. Inclusivity is a tough value to capture in any place - but Woods Coffee truly does match this word. I love the way we are greeted, serviced, and known here. Biggest shoutout to whoever roasts the coffee here :)

Makeworth is the first coffee place I hit up when I first visited Bellingham. For some reason it was open late that night and it was all lit up and super attractive. I had come to the area to get some food from a nearby restaurant and realized I needed a little late coffee break. I was impressed mostly by the space. Lots of places to get work done or just hang out with a few people and have a nice cup of coffee. The coffee itself is good. I have for some reason lost my love of coffee but this one still hits the spot real nice. My current go to is just a basic cap, and they have done it right every time I go in during a visit. The level of craft here is pretty darn good. Good milk, not too hot or too cold, but Goldilocks kind of milk. I also really enjoy getting their London Fog on occasion. Service is pretty efficient and thankfully there is lots of space for people who are waiting in line and waiting for their coffees to be made. It never feels like it's too cramped in here. I will be back when I visit my daughter for sure.

Makesworth is super cute and the ambiance and interior of this place is just perfect. I always try to find cute coffee shops in different cities and we always stop here on the way up to Vancouver. If you're in Bellingham, definitely stop by this place! They have good coffee, food and also beer if you're a beer person! The food is okay but I would mainly go for coffee!

Dopest coffee joint I've visited in the PNW. Neat aesthetic, tasty coffee, and tasty pastry! Well branded, clean and good vibes.

For a coffee shop this is a beautiful place. The staff is friendly, the place is really clean, and it is big enough to know you'll always get a spot to sit. Their handcrafted coffees are amazing. And I don't know where they get their scones from, but I bet it's from Avenue bread - unless they make it themselves... You do have to bust your own tables, but they have real silverware and reusable straws if you want them. Perfect place for Bellingham and a perfect place to sit and get lost with a good cup of coffee.

Great variety of coffee beans you can take home to brew!

I didn't even have this coffee shop on my list while on a recent trip to Bellingham but it looked super enticing as Steve and I strolled by in downtown trying to get someplace else. We ducked in and got some cool beverages to drink and I needed to buy a bag of coffee for home and one for work. I ordered a iced Chai which.was super good! Very refreshing and a nice spicy kick to it. Atmosphere was very cool with a bright, sunny look thanks to the large windows at the front and a sleek design inside. We enjoyed our beverages upstairs which was a lot of fun. I tried the bag of coffee beans at work. They had kind of a key lime flavor along with other fruits and it was super delicious! So very glad I got to try a new coffee shop and get some of their roasted coffee to last a bit longer at home and work!

Makeworth is awesome!! Came through to get some work done and this might be one of the best places I've ever stopped in at. There is an incredible amount of seating from big tables for groups, to small two person tables and much more. The music is mellow and it's not super loud. It's also quite spaced out which is nice compared to shops that cram the tables in. The coffee and menu is very affordable which I appreciate and the barista was very friendly. I had their regular drip which was delicious! Overall would absolutely come back and it looks like they have taps for beer in the evening!

(https://www.makeworthcoffeeroasters.com/) How I heard of this place: Being a Bellingham local - yet living away for twenty years - each visit brings new establishments to try and love. Makeworth had been around for years before we finally had a chance to visit. Type of cuisine: "Makeworth Coffee Roasters exists to celebrate craft and connection through specialty coffee roasting, cafe, and event services. Explore our curated offerings: Small Batch Coffee Roasting- we work meticulously to curate specialty coffees as direct from farm as possible to offer to our community. Each origin is roasted to its fullest flavor and offered at our cafe location and to wholesale partners. Flagship store- join us in downtown Bellingham for tasty coffee, delicious food, curated beer and cider, and mercantile created by in-house and local artists." Ambiance: Large, bright and vibrant, the whiteness is bold and noticable from outside and in. Spacious with plenty of seating options throughout the establishment and the loft above set amid the tall ceilings. The space is bustling and the quiet is punctuated with the sounds of orders, glassware clinking, and excitable conversations. What I ordered: The Lox ($7.50 - $10.50), Breakfast Tacos ($9), Turkey Cheese Croissant, a Mocha for me and Matcha for my sister. What I loved: Everything was pleasantly presented, thoughtfully created and easy on the tastebuds. We loved the lox, the crispy croissant and the fresh vibrancy of the tacos. Why I loved it: The space is very clean and bright and who isn't happy to be in a place with such open light? The food and drink make for a lovely bonus in setting. Cost: Average to high

This place is best for…read morelarger groups as there is limited seating in the sense that there are a few tables that seat 6+ people easily, but we went around 3pm when it wasn't busy so we didn't feel guilty taking one of the larger tables to ourselves when it was only half occupancy. We tried the bioluminescence drink and the toasty marshmallow latte. The bioluminescence drink is very aesthetic and drinks like a soda / energy drink, though it is a one and done for me as I don't feel the sparkles are the most healthy thing. The toasty marshmallow latte was a bit pricy at $7.50 but they had 3 pieces of toasted marshmallow that is perfect (s'mores like but not burnt) and there is a lot of drink. It was on the sweeter side for me. They have Cinnamon Toast Crunch on the side but it was a bit stale, but I won't be docking off a star as there's not much to it and everything else was delicious. We opted to dine in for the aesthetics and I'd recommend doing so as there's higher price point doesn't seem as worthwhile if you take these drinks to-go

Oh man was it amazing, got the cardamom coffee to go with a piece of Helva for my little and the Chocolate baklava for me and hubs to split! The server was so nice and made sure to inform me the right way to just sip the coffee as it's not like regular drinking coffee- he asked I preferred sweet coffee and I said yes so he added a little sugar and it was just beautiful! My little demolished the Helva and hubs and I enjoyed our chocolate baklava at the end of a very fun but busy day! The shop it's self is small but beautiful as were the other customers enjoying their coffee made room for my little at the counter to look at all the treats in the case! We simply had to give it a try. And continue coming back. Type of cuisine: Turkish fare - from simit and borek, to cardamom or pistachio infused Turkish coffee, apricot and apple teas, baklava and lokum. We have always loved the foods, mostly imported directly from Turkey. Ambiance: Sweet and cozy, the space is full of beautiful Turkish art/craft - from lighting to seating, from merchandise to the tasty treats served, we love our bay window benches and small, tiled tables that barely hold everything we order. The brother-owners are always wreathed in smiles and humble, grateful service. The music is soft, but always a surprise - sometimes Turkish, sometimes rock, sometimes jazzy, always fun and unobtrusive. We also love the huge barrel "tables" used as outdoor seating under a covered "patio". What I ordered: I was sad to hear that they no longer make/serve their refreshing and lovely apricot tea, so I chose a sweet cardamom coffee. My sister each chose a turkish coffee and pistachio coffee. A hot chocolate for my husband and two apple teas for the children. We ordered one of each selection of baklava available - pistachio, walnut, chocolate pistachio, halva and another walnut treat. Not to mention peach and blackberry lokum. We also ordered a potato & cheese sandwich; they ran out of the bread so substituted potato borek topped with cheese for our savory snack. What I loved: Always the service; quiet, humble, spot on. The coffee is truly magnificent and fully takes you back to Turkey. The baklava is sweet and soaked in honey, just like the cafes in Istanbul, and the beautiful lighting mesmerizes each of us every time. Why I loved it: It's always a little escape entering the doors of Ashuri, and like a mini vacation in a home away from home. Cost: Average
