I even asked the barista and they kindly switched my Americano for their decaf drip. But that was just as bad so it's definitely the roast. I'm guessing their other roasts are better, and like I said the food and service were great for me. But if you drink decaf I really don't think this is your spot.

Of course where would we be if we didn't get pastries. I got a delicious Blackberry Danish that they had while Steve got a savory pastry. Both were quite good and the pastry counter in general I noticed their selection was going fast so it is very popular! Good coffee shop stop and one well worth returning to but it shouldn't be a huge surprise entirely as college towns like Bellingham usually have great coffee shops!

Caramel sauce is way sweeter than caramel syrup. I felt like a jerk asking them to start over. They were visibly annoyed. But it's very unhelpful when they don't confirm with you the type of drink you want and just automatically assume what you want. I did not like the customer service.
