I've walked out the door and thrown a full drink in the trash more times than I can count on two hands. My wife says it's about 50/50 for her. I can also say other than one location at Boulevard Park I can walk in and order instantly at any of the other locations--either never a line or one person finishing up with their order. Not at other brands. Either baristas are not trained well to follow recipes or the recipes are junk. Well, even black coffee tastes bitter. Perhaps it's old. Three different types of drinks at dozens of locations and only 1 or 2 taste drinkable. Done. Not coming back to waste any more money.

I stopped going to that location after the woman who was counting my money kept telling me I didn't have enough money even though I had already counted it out and made me feel stupid for not counting it right and had a bad mood overall. I felt stupid and just upset that I wasn't getting any coffee before work so I recounted to see if I really did mess up and I did not. In fact I had like 2 dollars more than what the bill was. She either can't count or didn't want to. Never going back to the Lynden location. After that I told my friends and they even confirmed that the Lynden location is just overall not the brightest and they never do anything right. They all have bad experiences there and avoid it. It's strictly a drive-up place, but I walked up and they kindly served me. They gave me a large iced americano w/a bit of cream for $4.95. I think the menu said 5 shots, which is exactly what I needed. It was delicious: nice and strong and rich. The employees and townsfolk here seem very polite. When I placed my order I asked for coffee to please be served in a reusable "ceramic" cup as a "here" order. I had seen a dish bin with empty cups and was initially thrilled that this would be an option! I'm so over adding single use cups to the waste stream. It really hurts to do so when there is a different and better option. I even mentioned to the woman taking my order that I was trying to reduce my waste (to explain why I was asking for my coffee in a ceramic cup). Initially excited to pick up my (americano) coffee when my name was called, I instead saw on the counter my coffee in not just one disposable cup, but in 2 cups! The 'label' clearly said 'here'. I felt so duped. Guess I shouldn't have trusted I'd get my order in a real cup since when I looked around, all the other customers sitting there had disposable cups too. WHY? No idea (poor training, poor communication, ran out of ceramic cups, hopefully not "green washing"?!) but I'm so mad about this and sharing in the spirit of hoping that this was just a one-time glitch and others don't experience the same frustration.
