Insanely expensive for below average coffee, Starbucks needs to offer actual quality roasts, single origin, properly crafted with real syrups and house made flavors. The sucralose and awful amount of sugar in the frappes, burnt roast of the basic espresso, and pricing fails to match the average alternatives in the area. Java House has much better cold brew. 7 Brew and Dutch Bros beat with value, simple surgery lattes, and balanced drinks. Us three guys dropped in with a gift card yet somehow blew through fifteen bucks quickly. Only the egg nog latte, which sadly is a super short lived seasonal menu item, gets me excited about Starbucks. read more

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, I came to this Starbucks location today as the internet was out at my house to do work and the service was fantastic! The minute I walked into this Starbucks, I was immediately greeted by the barista and asked what I would like. She listened attentively and I was quickly given the drink I ordered. The drink itself was perfectly made and there were plenty of tables inside for me to sit to complete my work. Docking one star because the bathroom was a bit dirty inside at this location. However, plus point is that there is plenty of parking out front! Service was great, fast, and accurate. Overall, I will be back at this Starbucks if I need to get any work/studying done! read more

The other day, I swung by this location, and although the baristas (Anastasia and Vanya) did not take my order, I was greeted instantly by them when I walked into the door, and they were very very kind. A nice place to chill or meet up friends and do work. One of the cleaner Starbucks in the Indy metro area. The music is a little loud at times. Just ask a barista if they can turn it down if you don't like the loudness. They have gender neutral restrooms which is nice-and I also like how you don't need a code to use the restroom-just be sure to lock the door. I enjoyed my oatmeal that I had in the cafe. I also got a mocha because I'm basic. Milk temp was a little too hot for me-should've had it reduced it to maybe a kids temp. If I'm ever in Avon-I will definitely come back. read more

I came in to get a birthday frappe for my daughter. We ordered a venti carme ribbon crunch frappe. He asked my name and I said birthday girl, my daughter smiled from ear to ear. He said GOT YOU and told me to pull around. I pulled to the window and he just glared at me, no total or nothing. I grabbed my card not knowing if I had enough cash and he ripped it out of my hand. I love Starbucks, obviously. But it just seems as if this particular location is always extremely slow. I have to leave my house 30 minutes early to be able to stop and get a coffee because it takes so long to get through the drive-through line. The Avon store is one of my favorites with super friendly baristas. Whenever I'm looking for "something" different the baristas throw out suggestions. Several of my favorite drinks were recommendations and experiments. The cake pops are still one of my favorite snacks and perfect portion control. Rarely an empty table between folks working from home and business meetings. 10th Street in Chapel Hill Plaza is a better option if you need work space. read more

Very disappointed with this location. I get a large ice water with mactcha scoops. It's always been 87 cents. I've paid for green tea latte and frappe. Price is not the issue. Today it came up to almost 3 bucks. She said its tea and "labor" involved. Ice, water, powder seriously? I can see it it was hot brewed then poured over ice. It's still got chunks of powder in it. For that price it better be clump free. Difference was put back on my card but left a bad taste nonetheless. read more

Although I am not a huge coffee drinker any longer, stopping by a Starbucks, any Starbucks is generally makes my wife very happy. It's been freezing cold and today this stop was my idea. Absolutely love that I can jazz up my coffee and they act like I'm perfectly normal! Today was a Cappuccino and a danish, as always fresh and delightful. This review is about this location, not Starbucks in general. I was motivated to write this review because they are the definition of "efficient" in the morning! I ordered by phone about a mile away and when I arrived, my drink was just ready. I pulled into drive-thru one morning, running a bit late to work and not knowing if I really had time to stop by. This location is medium-paced, which is perfect, as many Starbucks can get overwhelming with all the customers. Of the four visits I have paid them recently, three have resulted in an incorrect order. They were very small mistakes that shouldn't bother anyone, but 25% success rate should be noted. All of my visits have been inside and "for here" orders. No drive thru, no take-aways. The important factor is that the mistakes were always promptly corrected, and usually with some form of reimbursement. The staff is fantastic, friendly, and fast. read more

Came through the drive-thru a few nights ago for my "birthday drink." It was about half an hour before closing. I was once a Starbucks barista so I know that clean up and closing duties had already started. Nonetheless, both baristas that I talked to were super friendly, and both of them wished me a happy birthday. I was also very impressed with how quickly they made my chai tea latte! Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Asked for a caffeine free suggestion and received "anything could be decaf". Ordered and iced coffee w/ cream. Received sweetened iced coffee. Asked them to re make. The location is convenient. There are tables, small and long & counter seating. There are not comfy chairs anymore, I miss them, but it leaves more room for additional tables and seating. Lots of coffee drinks, frappacianos, tea and hot chocolate. read more

What's not to love at a Starbucks! The variety of coffee, the holiday coffee, and even the holiday coffee cup the world melted down for. That Venti holiday red simplistic cup always held the best beverage for me in the morning so I personally had not problem with it at all. This location the staff is always super pleasant. They have gone to a Skype type order system so you can see your barista taking the order. This location also moves pretty quickly so don't let the long line fool you, you'll zip through pretty quickly and be on your way. read more

I've been a gold card carrying member ever since they started this program. I've been to Starbucks all over the place. Avon's Starbucks has the most problems with having the ingredients for my drinks on hand. These baristas are not the usual friendly staff I'm used to seeing at a Starbucks. There is a much better one at 10th street very close by. They bend over backwards to make sure your order is right. Very friendly staff too. Bypass Avon and go to 10th street or the one in Target close by on Rockville. read more

I no longer can justify going to these places. The prices are through the roof. The drinks are bad. I have never been in establishment with so many employees that do so little. Sometimes there are more employees than customers and I still get a sub par drink and the privilege of waiting 10 minutes for it. read more
