Super friendly staff. It was a busy morning and ordered from the app for pickup. Arrived and a manager walking the floor helped me find my individual items in the packed to go area. They were making my cold brew fresh so I needed to wait an extra minute. The crew behind the counter was happy to offer some extra condiments I needed with a smile. This is still a solid Starbucks location. On a busy Sunday morning I placed a mobile order; when I walked in the employees were working fearlessly making drink after drink very focusedly to a great number of people standing around. They worked like a well-oiled machine. Surprisingly, most of those people weren't staying so I found a seat to enjoy my Butterfly Lemonade Refresher. As I mentioned in my initial review, this is a small store. I wouldn't recommend this location for working since space is limited and foot traffic is high. read more

TBH I'm not a big fan of Starbucks for a wide variety of reasons, but I was in the area with some time to kill and not a lot of choices, certainly no local spots open. Having said that... Service: 5 That starts with Garrett at the counter. Super personable and responsive to the energy each customer brings. He wasn't too much for anyone, and easily matched the banter / energy of those who engaged. The people calling out names for orders and working the pick up station offered friendly smiles and hellos to every customer, even the grumpy ones! Ambiance: 4 It's a Starbucks so it has all you'd expect. Some reviewers have knocked it for not having enough seating options, I counted about 20-24 inside and several seats outside. As an ally to see the celebrations of diversity in flags and the badges on the doors. Food / Drink: 4 As I said above, it's a Starbucks. I got the egg bites and they were a solid 3-stars compared to Peet's. They needed a little more seasoning. I ordered a blonde roast, which I rarely see anymore in the chains, and they even had "for here" mugs. Nicholas was my barista and he did an amazing job! He was so nice and attentive. I wanted to try a new item and he recommended the Gingerbread Chai Latte. I asked for oak milk and he offered a non dairy cold foam option which was thoughtful as the original comes with dairy. The ambiance was nice so I stayed and enjoyed my drink. The drinks are exactly what we're looking for, with plenty of flavor! Horrible Service! I walk in with my daughter. there are 3 workers and NO ONE waiting. we chat at the register for 2-3 minutes. then I realize no one has come to the register or even acknowledged we've been waiting. I say excuse me is someone coming to the register. the guy looks up and say "oh we'll be right with you, sorry" and the 3 of them keep doing different things, he just turn away. Seems kinda silly to review a Starbucks but I gotta for this location. I've never had a Starbucks nail every single drink. Their texture and foam-to-drink ratio for the sweet cream foam (the downfall of many a Starbucks) is impeccable. Every time, it's a nice thick layer that floats perfectly on top. I've been a regular customer for 3 years since I moved here to the Mueller development. The customer service here is top notch. Some of the staff knows me by name and even my preference. Today I placed a mobile order for a cold brew I've never tried before and when I got there, they had made a grande instead of a venti. The manager actually asked me to taste it first before she remakes it because she has a feeling that I won't like that specific drink. She was right, it was too bitter for my taste. Instead, she remade a venti cold brew that was more suited to my taste. This Starbucks location serves fair coffee and has courteous service. The location is ideal if one is trying to grab a quick drink around Mueller's better side. It's small and has few seats, designed to serve the needs of to-go coffee drinkers. It does have one drawback however: The wait time there is outrageous. Please note that this is the Starbucks on 51st near PetSmart and Best Buy - it is NOT the Starbucks by HEB Mueller, which a lot of other Yelpers seem to think it is. Some of these pictures are inaccurate. This location is always busy and they never seem to have enough staff working - this is because Dell Children's hospital is right across the street and the place is constantly fill with doctors/nurses in scrubs getting their daily dose of java. Despite the frequent line, they do a decent job of getting through orders and drinks quickly. The staff is usually pretty friendly. read more

Located right by the HEB, this location has plenty of seating: Comfy chairs in the front near the big windows, a secluded counter towards the middle, and lots of breezy patio tables in the back. The Mueller rumor mill is saying that this location will feature "Starbucks Evenings" which means wine served after 4. I questioned the staff about it and they said it's still TBD, I'll definitely be checking back! read more

This Starbucks is great because of the friendly people that work there. Every time I go I get greeted kindly and some of the baristas even remember me! The location is great in Mueller and really accessible. There is not a ton of seating indoor, so not the best place to hope to get work done in the Texas heat. However, they have amazing outdoor seating that is great once it starts to cool off. Lots of great places to eat nearby! read more

This Starbucks misses the mark every time I come in. They are ALWAYS short staffed. I feel bad for the workers because this is the only Starbucks I've been too where the workers genuinely look like they hate their lives. I could say that the workers aren't very nice and friendly but they don't have any help. There is only one person working when I go and he/she is swamped. You can tell they are working as hard as they can because they are sweating. I've also heard negative things about the manager here. From what I heard she is not nice to her employees. The second Mueller Starbucks opened abut a week ago and is one of the prettiest ones. It boasts a beautiful interior with high ceilings, industrial/modern vent mounts, lights, ceiling fan, furniture, and decorative ceiling panels. I really love the tall windows. This Starbucks is definitely larger than the other Mueller Starbucks, but smaller than the Arboretum Starbucks. There is a long couch with electrical outlets along the bottom. There are two tables against the windows with a total of twelve "barstools," six small round tables for intimate conversations, and two tall long tables for group collaborations with an electrical outlet on the floor. I just got the plain Pike Place brewed coffee and it tasted consistent with all the other Starbucks I frequent. This Starbucks is in the same little block of buildings to the front right of HEB. Other businesses in it are Twin Liquors, Great Clips, Subway and a nail place. read more
