I loved it! It's a great seasonal drink. The sweetness hit the spot I was looking for. And because I chose a medium, I found that I was able to save some of it for the next day.

I got there and had to wait outside for a while before it was ready, so I'm not sure what was going on. (Like all Dutch Brothers, there was a line in the drive-through.) When I got it, although I'm happy that they didn't skimp on any coffee, the drink was so full that coffee was spilling out onto my shirt and car seat. The prices are reasonable compared to other locations, and you can get an oat milk latte without an up charge for the non-dairy. Yay! I will give this place another try and hope that the second time around is better.

While there were five cars ahead of me, I got to the order window very quickly and likewise to the final window pretty fast. I ordered the iced caramelized matcha. While it was tasty, I could not taste any distinctive matcha. The festive cup and straw were welcomed. While making my way to final window, I noticed interesting signage. "No smoking or vaping." Entrance locations were highlighted along with their rewards program. The baristas at Dutch Bros Coffee are always next level friendly and helpful. They create a "I want to comeback soon" vibe. You scan their menu, pick what you want (they're running a mangonada promo right now), order and pay. Scanning the app is quick and easy and reloading $ on there is super convenient. I got their "kicker", which is basically a Irish creme breve and tried one of their Mangonada drinks, the Mangonada lemonade. Its a lemonade with a bit of strawberry bits and Tajin powder on top. Overall I love how consistent their drinks are (most the time I get the Kicker drink) and how fast they make their drinks. We were just handing them out to people who said they had dogs, which was highly disappointing. Also, the customer service was poor. The location was the AW Grimes Round Rock, Texas. We've been to the Scooter's in Leander several times since it opened, and unfortunately the drinks…read morehave been wrong almost every time. Different staff each time so it can't be blamed on just one person. After giving it multiple chances, it's hard to justify coming back. The management situation doesn't seem great either. Lauren (manager) hasn't left a great impression, though the assistant manager -- a guy whose name I didn't catch -- was actually helpful and professional. One employee, Araceli, was openly rude and passive-aggressive toward coworkers. If customers in the drive-through can hear those comments, I can only imagine what it's like when the window is closed. That kind of environment reflects poorly on the location. I've also heard from others that employees have been fired over text message without warning, feedback, or even a proper phone call. If that's true, it raises serious questions about how this place is run and whether the owners are okay with that kind of treatment of their employees. Not sure if other Scooter's locations are better, but this one has been consistently disappointing.

This is a drive-thru coffee business. I love that when you finish ordering they say, "Scoot…read morearound!" If that doesn't make you smile, you must be cranky and really need that coffee. Every time I've gone there the service at the window has been nice. The employees inside the small space seem to be working well together. There are a wide variety of drinks--both hot and cold, sweet and not. They have coffee and smoothies. I've been happy with my coffee drinks, and the smoothie I had was quite enjoyable. A few drinks have been a bit too sweet for me, but that just tells me they simply aren't for me. They offer many food options: muffins, breakfast burritos, egg bites, cinnamon rolls, and different forms of breakfast sandwiches. I can't comment on those yet, but I look forward to trying them. I recommend using the app to ensure your order goes in exactly as you want it. Also speeds up getting thru the line and will avoid any miscommunication issues. Also, you can earn awards thru it.

There are two in Round Rock, one off the square in Georgetown, and the one I have come to the most frequently, the Hutto location off East Street. When I was first looking for an apartment in the Hutto area, I decided to try Lamppost to see if Hutto had good coffee and was kind of disappointed that the latte I ordered was not that great in my opinion. After moving to the area and trying their coffee more frequently, my tune has changed on them, and I can say that they are pretty good. Their seasonal drinks are usually what I gravitate toward, like their Orange Chocolate Cortado, their Mr. and Mrs. Claus they served recently, and an espresso tonic I had earlier last year that was great. Their specialty Lamba Latte is one of the best consistent things on their menu. What is their Lamba syrup? I could not tell you, but it is a moderate sweetness that does not taste exactly like a vanilla latte. It has some marshmallow flavors and some caramel flavors as well. What I like most about Lamppost is how bright and naturally well lit their space is. The large windows and doors face the east, so once the sun has risen, you get a pretty well illuminated space by the afternoon. It is great for team meetings, remote work, and anything in between. I will continue coming back to Lamppost because they are the only place in Hutto that can really bring that sunshine with their coffee. The service was surprisingly quick and friendly, so this should be very convenient even when there are lots of cars like today. And they even have a walk-up window if you prefer, although I doubt it will get that much use. I got their version of a frappe called a Chiller, which was very finely blended without the ice chunks I often get elsewhere, so that was a definite improvement. And the coffee was rich and flavorful. I love that they have tons of flavored syrups to choose from (over 20!) and I chose banana which was good, but you'll definitely want to ask for extra if you like it sweet like me. Even with 6 pumps it was a little faint and not too sweet. But that's easily fixed and I'm looking forward to exploring more flavors next time!
