The employee was courteous. My food was hot and it tasted good. I came to the drive thru at 3am and attempted to order off of the menu- but the guy said they were only serving breakfast but the menu doesn't change until 4 ? So I asked why can I not order the regular menu until 4 then? All he said was "idk that's the rule" and I said well If I can't order off of the menu that's literally showing, how am I suppose to know what I can order. He said "I guess you can pull up to the window and give you a paper menu" Just rude. Maybe advertise the correct menu at the correct times? Do not like this place at all. No soda machine for refills. Very bare bones. Human interaction is at a minimum. I guess McDonald's is trying to have a modern, aseptic, sterile environment. Like going to a doctor's office for food. Fries were old, soggy, and stale. Server was nice. And it seems the price is slightly cheaper at $8 for a large cheeseburger meal. TLDR: This is a fine McDonald's and I'd come back. I know, that doesn't sound that hyped but I've had some pretty bad experiences with McD's getting the order right or being served lukewarm food. The customer service at this outlet seemed pretty 'meh' but aside from that, I have to give kudos where I find them. The breakfast I ordered was out reasonably quickly, and it was fresh! (Well, as fresh and McD's gets.) That plus a reasonably clean dining area puts it in the top third of this chain as far as I'm concerned. That'll do, McD. That'll do. This is a restaurant to avoid due to the fact that there is HAIR in the food. Day or night, 7 days a week, you will get an order with HAIR in it. Second try: verdict? Avoid this McDonalds. Somehow they've screwed up service even more... the drive through line is changed, coned off, and actually being handled beside where the drive thru actually is. This has both lanes confused and if you have a mobile order and want to do the parking lot pickup, you're blocked from getting into the spots (or back out). To make it worse, their app order system is completely broken and will take the order but when you go to claim it, throws an error and requires canceling the order and redoing it... but the lobby is closed. This location would be better off closing down until they can fix whatever operational/register problems they're having - and there are other fast food options around if need be. I've been to this McDonalds location many times, especially since it's so close to my kids schools & I just really like this location..it's clean & come on McDonald's French fries are the best!! And I just love the school spirit this McDonald's has for supporting our local Manor High School..there's a huge mural of the MHS sports on one of the walls. I order a sausage biscuit and they gave me a sausage biscuit with cheese, I also noticed a terrible smell from the biscuit so I won't be able to eat it. I called them and no one answered the phone, and I also noticed that the person at the cash register on the drive through didn't really speak English and I had a semi hard time asking for some jelly which she didn't seem to know what it was. Today I used the mobile app to order AND PAY for my order. Once I got my "pick up code", I drove to the Manor restaurant. Apparently there was a glitch, & my payment didn't go through on the app? I selected a payment account, & it then gave me an order code & instructions on how to pick up my order, so I assumed everything was good. There were NO emails, texts, or pop ups on the screen saying payment didn't complete. So, yeah, great app & great management... The Manager (a middle aged female Hispanic) made sure to address me very rudely & treat me like a damn THIEF when I tried to pick up my order. She insisted I didn't pay, I insisted I did. She further insisted I didn't pay. I fumbled briefly with my phone trying to find a receipt. The line was long in the drive through, & the whole situation had caught me off guard, so I just re-paid with my credit card at the window. I REALLY wish I'd have just told her to shove it, instead. This was THE worst hot chocolate we've ever had. I got 3 total, & ALL 3 were WRONG. 2 of the 3 didn't get the extra flavor syrup I paid for, & one was both flavors combined- caramel AND peppermint. RETCH! All 3 had NO whipped cream, NO drizzle, & NO flavor. Basically watered down non fat milk. DISGUSTING! My little impromptu treat for my family rapidly turned to regret. Since I'm here complaining about them, I may as well share that Manor McDonalds regularly screws up your order & then treats you like you're trying to get over on them by actually wanting what you purchased. My last 3 orders at this store have been missing food items. I usually take the loss, because by the time I park, go in (defeating the purpose of having gone to the drive-through to begin with), get attitude, and finally get home, everything else is cold. When you do bother to go in (because you, you know, need ALL of your order) & ask for the forgotten things, you get told it was given to you. Obviously... that's why I inconvenienced myself, & came inside after having gone through the drive-through already! Because I REALLY, REALLY wanted to rob you of hash browns (insert sarcasm & eye rolls here). Lucky me, I always seem to encounter this same lousy manager. Spreading her suspicion and skepticism, far & wide. [Suggestion for the owner] This woman really needs to go back to Corporate's Management Training courses! I come to this McDonald's everyday because it's the only one in Manor. So every day it's something different. I come by every morning at 5:00am. No one in the drive thru line and I still wait 5 mins plus for someone to take my order. Every day the get my coffee wrong or I'll get regular coke instead of Diet Coke. I ask for sausage and egg McMuffin and they give me ham and cheese biscuit. The associates don't speak any English so they don't understand what I'm saying. I could go on and on. This McDonalds food sucks and so does their professionalism and attitude. My food was cold. I asked for light salt on my fries and both had excessive salt. I asked for extra tarter sauce on my sandwich and was given an excessive amount. So much that I could not eat the sandwich. My other sandwich was burnt and my daughters burger had an excessive amount of mustard and onions (not usually on a kids burger). I'm sure it was intentional. Every time I come here in Night Shift the same lazy ladies are here. And it's always with those 2 that I have problems. Any other time and other employed here actually do their job right! I had paid for 2 Large caramel drizzle, one with 2 extra caramel drizzle & the other one without whipped cream and 1extra caramel drizzle. Once I got to the window and she handed me the frappes the one with caramel drizzle was filled about 2inch down the cup and I asked them to make it right for me. She then goes ahead and tells me to move but how long can making a frappe take you? Literally less than 3 min and I know this because my first job was at McDonald's at 16years old!! I said I was going to stay at the windows and they took over 5min to get me the frappe only to give it to me WRONG AGAIN! I said I paid for 2 extra caramel drizzle (40 cents) and she said she already gave me extra caramel drizzle when did not add not even a tiny bit of extra caramel drizzle and refused to make me my order RIGHT. I was there for over 20 min until she finally decided to give me my frappe right. I try not to be rude to fast food workers but when you're LAZY and UNPROFESSIONAL and think you can do whatever you want is where I have a problem because that's not how things work and it's just not okay! I really hope they change this staff or fire these ladies because after working over 13hrs at a clinic a coffee is what makes me feel better.
