Terrible experience. Literally ordered our sweet treat and were NOT told that we would have to pay in cash. We waited for our order and then they came out WITH it and said "sorry we can't give you your order unless you're paying in cash." It wasted our time AND it wasn't our fault their card reader was down, they should've let us know at our arrival instead of walking out with our order to tell us they couldn't give it to us. Where to start. I ordered food and they had the nerve nay the audacity to hand me food with zero sauces even after they asked what I needed and a clarified which ones I needed. Who gives a plain pretzel with no dipping sauce or condiments. After, I got my mozzarella sticks or should I say mozzarella caulk because lack of dipping sauce. I gave this "person" (more like thirst depriver) my card and gift card and handed me back both saying he only needed one because he used the card not the gift card........ a man can only take so much disappointment. I've been to a lot of Sonic locations, never one quite like this! It's at the top of a mountain! I live in Houston and it's generally pretty flat here, so this may be common for this area. I was seriously a little worried getting to this store, it felt like a 45 degree incline. Went to the drive thru and got a drink and headed back down to the freeway. Swung by Sonic tonight because everyone had ice cream cravings at the same time. It's a nice night, so why not?! We got 2 Mint Oreo Blasts, as usual, and my son and my daughter were both very happy with them. I thought I'd splurge & get myself something different. I decided on a Turtle Molten Cake Sundae... that was a $5 mistake! I got a cake with about 1/4 Tbsp. of caramel, no molten center, and 1/2 scoop of ice cream equivalent. Ok if I was wanting "cupcake a la mode"...but the name said "Sundae" which implies a decent serving of ice cream to go with that cake. Well, my ice cream only lasted through roughly 1/2 the cake. Bleh. Really sucks to go out for a rare ice cream treat, and wind up unhappy. read more

This location is hit or miss. Some of the car hops are very friendly. Others could care less and seem to hate their jobs. Also, frequently, they put little effort into getting their ice cream products right. My last three master blasts were not completed blended. Half way through it was straight vanilla ice cream. I've gotten cold food. I've also received Cokes when I've ordered Diet Cokes. Every time I've reported these issues and they've tried to make it right, so I appreciate it. But they should be getting it right from the get-go. I shouldn't have to use my time to call, and then go back. Don't drive to Manor for Sonic, drive to Austin for your fix. read more

No communication going on inside this place. Waited over 30 minutes for an order that was placed on the app 15 minutes prior to even arriving. After hitting the button to request a refund they said it was ready and asked if I wanted it brought to me? Ummmm, isn't that how it's supposed to work? My experience w Sonic (Manor) & Corp. ~ Ridiculous, 26 mins of wait time from stall check-in to receiving order of 4 PC Jalapeno Poppers & medium drink. **Yes, busy for lunch rush (12:19 PM), but not so much so they shouldn't have been prepared. After all, most places push through orders faster & fresher during known busy times** ~ Push red button looking for order & am asked for name. Guy couldn't locate it & repeats 2 different names. Finally had to repeat what I ordered. ~ Food to me immediately after finding order. UNACCEPTABLE item received, Poppers not fresh, not hot, not edible. Sits in fridge untouched for return upon replacement which has yet to be honored. **Was order ready the entire time? Was it cleared from ongoing order screen, hence why he couldn't locate it via system? Was it found sitting on outgoing order table & sent our to me as/is ? Shouldn't they have swapped it out with fresh Poppers? I loooovee me some Sonic. Specifically, a large Coke. Sometimes two times a day. Well, they are hot or miss with service here. They have several employees working the morning shift that are on top of it. The evening/night shift is a disaster. It is normally to wait 20 minutes for a drink. I know the owner of most of the Sonic franchises in TX and this is by far the worst sonic I have ever came across... such a let down. They're always out of something in my order, machines are down, closed early or it just takes FOREVER to get an order. Falls in line with most fast food chains in manor (with the exception of Wendy's) though, so I'm not surprised. Just wish they either had what I wanted & were faster. Not much to say, just a good place to get a quick eat or drink when you need to hit the highway. The staff is always friendly and they get my orders right. If your looking for great customer service go here!! We ordered a chili cheese coni, chicken nuggets and frys. We wanted 1 blizzard and a vanilla ice cream but their ice cream machine was out. And we waited for our food. About 3/4 of the way they went back on their speaker and said "Are you still there?" We replied with "Yes" and she said "Well as it turns out we got our ice cream machine back and running , would you like to still order your ice cream?" Then we ordered our ice cream and we got it on the house!! Honestly I don't believe it because they could have just not told us because our other order was already done or either just cost us for it. Friendly staff the girl that ran our food out was super sweet but once we got into our bags its was all bad :-( Got 3 out of 4 of our orders incorrect ordered 3 cheeseburgers only two has cheese ordered 3 tater tots only got 1. Ordered a root beer and green tea and apeite got 2 sprites no root beer..and the list goes on..so literally all of our order was wrong but we didn't have time to wait any longer as our daughter was at a cheer competition and we had to get back.
