This was my first time at Jeni's. I'm lactose intolerant so usually get sorbet at ice cream shops. I was wowed to not only have a dairy free option, but to have it be peppermint, my all-time favorite. And this was fancy peppermint with a fudge swirl and gluten free chocolate cake pieces. It was absolutely delicious! Service was great, and this place was bright and busy. There is seating along the wall opposite the counter, so my date and I sat and enjoyed our sweet treats.
The shop itself is really small yet busy. WAYYYYYYY too many people are just sitting around without ordering anything. Which makes it impossible to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. I definitely prefer the Triangle location a lot more. I had two different scoops and, unfortunately, don't remember the name of the one I liked. Banana pudding flavor was far from favorite because it tasted like artificial banana, very chemical-ey taste.
Always one of my favorite birthday freebies of course. But also frequent stop after dinner at the Domain. They have such interesting flavors and it's always fresh. They will happily let you taste as many as you want.
Jeni's consistently puts out high-quality ice cream with creative flavors. The shop has a friendly, casual vibe, and the staff were welcoming and efficient. I ordered the Brambleberry Crumble, which had the perfect balance of tart berry swirl and buttery crumble folded into a rich, creamy base. My husband got The Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake and Maple Soaked Pancakes. Both were indulgent and sweet, but the creaminess kept everything balanced rather than overwhelming. Always a great experience whenever we visit any of their locations!
I really like Jeni's! I've been to their LA location but was excited to see that they had a spot in Austin. The Brambleberry Crisp is incredible - it's basically berry pie mixed into vanilla. So creamy and flavorful. The limited Matchapolitan flavor was also delicious, you can't go wrong with matcha and strawberry together. Will be thinking of this place when I'm back in Orange County!
Let me first say that ice cream is my favorite thing. I'm a self proclaimed ice cream enthusiast. I know my frozen desserts VERY well so here are my #worthynotes : I LOVE JENI'S ICE CREAM. I'm obsessed. Unfortunately there isn't one in the city that I live in so whenever I am traveling and see one, I have to stop. This was my first time at this location and of course the ice cream did not disappoint. Smooth, delicious, and flavorful. Each bite had me on cloud 9. As for the establishment, very clean and cozy. There are a few places to sit. The staff were friendly and professional and quick! I would highly recommend stopping by to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Icecream cones and you can try as many flavors as you'd like. Line is long but moves very fast. A lot of people inside so it's better to walk down the street (Domain is very walkable)
Super delicious!! The Biscuits with the Boss special pint is probably the best ice cream I've ever had.
Jeni's is a fantastic ice cream shop in The Domain serving up interesting flavored scoops of ice cream in a cute little shop. We went in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. As a heads up, the nearest parking garage is the red garage. The shop is a bit small considering how many people frequent it so you may need to wait a bit to order or grab a seat. Ordering took quite a bit of time, 20 minutes or so, but that's because people like to sample their flavors plus there were a lot of kids which tend to slow things down. The line began outside which was inconvenient as we had to stand there with the door propped open. We eventually got to order and got a standard, or 2 half-scoops, of their milkiest chocolate. They also have pints of their ice cream available for sale so if you want a bit more than a few scoops then you're in luck. We were fortunate enough to find seating as people had just left so we sat down and dug into our waffle bowl of ice cream. Oh man, it was good! The milkiest chocolate is just so rich and sweet and the flavor is so balanced, one of our favorite chocolate ice creams ever (and we love chocolate ice cream). By the time we got up we were mad we hadn't ordered another scoop, but that's life. We would definitely recommend this place to cure your sweet tooth on a hot day but be wary of when you go because the wait can be a bit off-putting, unless you don't mind great ice cream as a reward for patience.
I love how Jeni's never misses...no matter the state, no matter the city. The flavors travel perfectly; nothing ever gets lost in translation. That kind of consistency isn't luck. It's craft, discipline, and pure devotion to making ice cream with purpose. Making ice cream the right way. And the team here in Austin is just as kind and welcoming as every other Jeni's I've visited. Thanks for keeping the magic consistent, Jeni's Austin.
It's good! A great treat after hanging around the Domain. Got the study (4 scoops) of brambleberry crisp, milkiest chocolate, cameral apple crisp (new flavor), and almond brittle. Comes with three waffle chips (four would be better!) It was $10. Almond was my favorite! Very fragrant. They let you sample flavors so take your time choosing your favorites :) You can get water cups. They sell buckets of ice cream to take home too.
Solid 5 stars icecream!!!! I have only ever had Jeni's from the grocery store and there are limited flavors. The storefront is very inviting, the waffles smell so good that you cannot walk by without peeking in. Once you glance over, it's game over. Great dejection of flavors and some really different ones. The staff is great at letting you taste flavors to help you decide. I got the Miso Butterscotch Brownie and Salted Peanut Butter with chocolate flecks. Fell in love with the Miso Butterscotch Brownie, just a teeny hint of savory brings out the chocolate and butterscotch flavors. Besides the flavor, the texture is great too- very creamy. I am going to be making a beeline to Jeni's anytime I am in Austin next. Highly recommended.
5/5 for flavor. Honestly Jeni's is some of the best ice cream I've ever had. The flavors are rich and creamy with unique combinations. The dairy free Texas sheet cake was so creamy you wouldn't know it was dairy free. I also appreciate how many flavors are gluten free and that all the allergens are labeled. You're able to sample as many flavors as you want. ice cream is my absolute favorite dessert and I've tried my fair share of boutique ice cream shops. A small was close to $8 and while it was nice to be able to get 2 different flavors, the amount of ice cream was not sufficient for the hefty price tag.

Love this spot!! I tried the berry passionfruit and it was my favorite but it is a summer flavor! They are always changing seasonal flavors and it's great - so many cool options all the time They do offer waffle cones and bowls too Parking is tricky since in the domain but plenty of parking garages Service is quick and you can try samples too They also have a rewards system! read more
The ice cream is so good. There's always a line out the door but it's because the flavors are so fun. I have the app too so I will sometimes get a free scoop or free bogo. Friendly service considering how crazy busy it can get in there. It can be a bit pricey so I do recommend the app to try to offset. But my dog is a fan as well. He loves their waffle cones and the honey vanilla bean flavor read more

This was my first experience with Jeni's ice cream located in the Domain. A+ Absolutely Fabulous flavors. Very Pricey, bring your $$$. The Staff were friendly. The ice cream was so delicious! I recommend that you visit here! read more
If you're an ice cream lover, Jeni's is a must try. You can taste the richness and creaminess in every taste of their ice cream. The Jenny's in the Domain on Rock Rose is a great location. There's a bench outside if you want to sit out and some seats inside as well. The menu can be a little confusing if you're not a regular but they will explain it and do samples. I went in for my FREE birthday treat! I was pleasantly surprised to get a waffle bowl and 3 scoops! They make their cones and waffles by the way and they are delicious! There's a flavor for everyone. All time favorite is the gooey butter cake ice cream! Highly recommend! read more

Oh wow! This is a popular place in The Domain. I've known of Jeni's ice cream. Never been. I can understanding why there is a following of Jeni's. The ice cream is really high quality it's rich, it's thick, it's dense. And the flavor, is incredible. The ice cream comes with 2 small scoops. About the size of a golf ball. You can get 2 flavors or the same flavor. I did get a blueberry lavender, which will be my go to for sure. And the other scoop I got was the salted caramel. Both amazing. I would love to go back and try all their flavors. They do have a large variety. It was pretty loud inside, I wasn't able to hear the lady when she asked what I wanted. But like I said. It was busy, and the line was out the door. I did use the rest room and it was clean inside. It's just 1 bathroom for both female and male. There is a code on the door. But I guess they don't use it. Because I was able to go in without the code. They do have a rewards app where you can earn points for free ice cream. Thinking I might get that app and start my points. read more

This place makes delicious (so CHUNKY MMMMMM) and creative ice cream. They make fresh waffle cones too! The staff are friendly, enthusiastic, and patient (don't ask me how many samples we had and how long it took us to choose and were still met with a smile). The double dough ice cream was insanely creamy and I love the complexity of the flavors (it has salty and tart components as well). And don't sleep on the cherry goat cheese! read more

Jeni's ice cream is splendid! I've only had Jen's Splendid Ice Creams once prior to today and I remember it being such a fabulous experience. The ice cream is fresh, fragrant and flavorful. There is nothing like Jeni's ice creams. The server allowed us to have a few samples of the ice creams. According to her Gooey Butter Cake, Salty Caramel and Brambleberry Crisp were the three most popular ice creams. I had the Gooey Butte Cake and Brambleberry Crisp. My friend had the Salty Caramel and Wildberry Lavender. All were so mouth watering good...so smooth and soothing to eat. Jeni's is small and many times during the day on the weekends lines wrap around the building. Run don't walk to Jeni's Spendid Ice Creams!!! read more

I frequently visit Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream at The Domain in Austin, and I can honestly say it turned me into an ice cream person. Their Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks is so good that I order it every single time. It's my go-to spot for a late-night treat, a casual outing with friends, or just a reason to get out of the house. The staff is always friendly, the shop is clean, and the ice cream is consistently delicious. While it's moderately priced, that's expected for an artisan ice cream shop. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars and will definitely keep coming back. read more

Super cute spot for a daytime treat or the last stop on a date night! I recently stopped in and the staff is an always super patient with samples and very friendly. I love Jenni's creative take on ice cream flavors but I wish the has some of their classic flavors available year round. I'm a coffee lover and they only had it available in pints. However, this is still a great shop with beautiful interior and unique flavors. I'll never say "no" to a stop at Jeni's! read more
One of the things I miss most about austin is this place! The ice cream was high quality and the flavors were so unique. There were two flavors with cake pieces mixed in (I think it was a birthday flavor and also Texas Sheet Cake), and those were my go to's, but the variety was amazing. They let you try samples so that you get exactly what you want. They've always been nice (and efficient) when I'm there. I regret never doing the affogato! Anyway, the store is clean and bright, right in the middle of rock rose, for a little bit of sweetness in your day! read more
Lots of yelpers slapping down five stars without taking everything into consideration. For example, this is a very narrow venue with just enough room for four very small tables and the line in which you stand. If you arrive at a peak time, you could easily be waiting outside the door in the sun. When you walk in, it looks like there are dozens of flavors to choose from when in reality there's probably less than 20 that fill out 48 spots in the freezers. On our visit, I was surprised that they did not have strawberry, cookies and cream, chocolate chip or Rocky Road. They do make their own waffle cones on site or you can get the usual cake cone. The ice cream is good, but it is insanely expensive. Two 2 scoop cake cones were about $16, and yes, that familiar tip screen will be waiting for you at the end starting at 15%. Plenty of free parking nearby. Informative photos below. read more
I came here to redeem my birthday gift, which was two free scoops and a waffle crisp on the side! I got the almond butter brownie and the s'mores flavor. Both are really good! I think my favorite is still their dark chocolate. The employees are patient when you're asking them for samples, which I really appreciate. Inside is very clean. There is limited seating. read more
We got four flavors, and they were all very delicious. My favorite was lavender! They have very interesting flavors, and they are not overly sweet. You can sit inside of the shop if you'd like or you can walk around the shopping center afterwards. Try it out when you come to the Domain area! read more

Tip: GET THE GOOEY BUTTERCAKE! This ice cream shop was amazing. There was so many flavors that I've never seen before and they do things in "half scoops". So we got the gooey butter cake and 7 layer bar. The 7 layer bar was nice and kind of reminded me of a Girl Scout cookie a little bit with the caramel and coconut flavors. The gooey butter cake was my favorite. It had actual pieces of cake and you can taste the buttery sweetness. The buttercream birthday cake was another flavor that I really enjoyed. They do samples here too! So don't be scared to try some or the interesting flavors. The worker was very kind and welcoming. I'll definitely be back. read more

This is a tough review because the service is great here! They funnel you in and out with great customer service. The amount of $$ for two tiny scoops of ice cream is outrageous. They could be gone in about 5 bites. Nonetheless the ice cream is good. Not great, but it is good. read more
Twas a first time coming here for the post dinner treatment!! Very convenient location as you can walk in after many restaurants nearby! They let you try some samplings and the staffs are nice and friendly! We ordered wild berry lavender, salted peanut butter with chocolate flakes, brown butter almond brittle and branberry crisp! They were all so good!!! Literally, they were all my favorites. The sweetness is just and favor is great! Definitely recommended! read more

I am a fan! You definitely don't need a lot to be satisfied with your icecream. The flavors are unique, rich and abundant. Don't be afraid to take samples because there is so many options to choose from it will be hard to limit yourself. Overall delicious homemade icecream shop read more
Parking can be a nightmare because it's the domain, but Jeni's Ice Cream is worth the hassle! I will NEVER go back to any other ice cream as Jeni's tastes REAL with no synthetic aftertaste! So many flavors to choose from, but my favorites are brambleberry with oats, and sparkling cherry pie! While the pricing is on the higher end, it's worth the experience because the customer service is superb! They allow you to try the flavors they have in stock, and they are very knowledgeable! While the place tends to get busy / packed, there are plenty of days and times you can go to avoid the crowds / long wait times. All in all, I recommend! read more

Walking around the Domain and came across this sweet little place; well technically, we smelled the sweetness first. They have a strawberry shortcake special for $9 that she wanted to try. I am a simple ice cream girlie, cookies and cream and I'm happy. These are fancy flavors so I tried Texas sheet cake (taste like cake batter), lavender (taste like they blended real lavender flowers in the ice cream), and a pecan flavor I think that had toffee in it. The couple of tastes were sufficient for me. My friend shared the strawberry shortcake tasted fair but definitely lacking on the presentation from the signage. read more
