Good quality ice cream & waffle cone!! I got the small cookies & cream. Small comes with 2 scoops, can be 2 different flavors. They have some "fun" flavors like apple pie or goat cheese with honey I was able to taste but I personally think their classics tasted better.

My friend and I decided to get ice cream after dinner. I had mentioned my favorite ice cream flavor is salted caramel and he raved about Lick's caramel salt lick flavor. We were able to easily find a parking spot in the parking garage of the shopping center. There was a short line when we arrived at Lick, which allowed us to decide on our flavors. Lick offers seasonal flavors as well as signature flavors. As I mentioned, I love anything salted caramel, so I had to get the caramel salt lick as well as their coffee with cream, as coffee is another favorite dessert flavor of mine. After we got our orders, we decided to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather at the time. There's also some seating inside if you prefer to be indoor. Now to the ice cream... Once lick and I was in love! The flavors were on point and the ice cream was creamy. I could have easily devoured another cup of each! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Austin!

The service here was terrific. I was a first time customer and told them so; the employee helping me inquired as to my preferences and he came up with recommendations and gave me some samples. He really stood out from the other two employees who didn't seem very engaged with their customers. I was able to make a decision with dark chocolate. They have a lot of elevated flavors as compared to a run-of-the-mill ice cream business. I believe this store offers something great for a foodie or someone more refined than I. I had no interest in most of their more interesting flavors. That said, I found the dark chocolate ice cream to be very smooth but the flavor unremarkable. There is seating in the store, but the store is small, so there are benches outside as well. I found two "hidden" tables to the left of the counter on the hallway to the bathroom by the employee entrance. These tables take you completely out of the employees' view. I guess that's great for total privacy. But when an employee walked around to enter the work space, I surprised her. The cups in which the ice cream is served and the spoons are very environmentally designed. The bio-lining is made from plants. They are commercially compostable and 100% bamboo. The spoons are made from plants. I absolutely love this! They have some merch, but the display is on the hallway wall, out of view of the customers, so I'm not sure how much of it is actually sold. But, as mentioned, the store is small and there's not a lot of wall space to display the items in the main area. SO if you want a Lick t-shirt, peek around the corner! Overall it's a solid business, I got great service, and the business focus is terrific. I'm simply not the target audience for their products.

We had been told this was one of the best ice cream places in Austin and we had to find out. The store is located in a small strip mall so parking can be challenging, but don't let that stop you from trying it out! The staff was very patient with us as we perused the different flavors. The ice cream is homemade and is very good. They let you taste any of the flavors, so might as well! Well, I settled on Coffee with Cream which is milk & cream steeped in locally roasted 3rd Coast Coffee, lightly sweetened with pure cane syrup and subtly accented with a touch of Mexican vanilla. My wife tried the Hill Country Honey and Vanilla Bean - Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans mixed with ocal Good Flow Honey! Both of these were amazing, and unfortunately, I only got a pic of a half eaten one of the cups! Well, if you are looking for a good ice cream place - this should be a destination. Give them a try - 5 star experience!

Cute Spot, But Tiny Portions Lick is a quaint little ice cream shop with unique flavors that are a treat to try. Unfortunately, the portions are ridiculously small--barely baby-sized--for six dollars. It's a pricey stop that leaves you wanting more. San Antonio, The Rim

Texas Sheet Cake flavor. Glorious! What a cute place with plenty of parking. Lots of different flavors and the ability to test out multiple ice creams. Folks were lovely and kind too, the shop is small but has plenty of seating outside. It was so yummy.

Yummy ice cream-how can you go wrong?! Lick has some seasonal flavors, some unique combinations, some vegan, and some more traditional options. Waffle cones, cups, and not ridiculous portions are a plus! I ordered a small, which comes with two scoops. I had the Tres Leches and the Texas Sheet cake. Delicious!

Such a fun concept! With local flavors, it's common to come across different concoctions of sweet and savory coming together. Ask for a stamp card and order single scoops to expand your palette. The location is also near walkable establishments, South of downtown Austin. Nearby a Alamo Drafthouse, so skip the popcorn and do a pre or post scoop instead!

Amazing place, I'm a big fan of coffee and ice cream and this Coffee With Cream was Service is great and perfect ambiance. Will be coming back!!

Lick's Honest Ice Cream offers a great experience with bold flavors and creamy textures. I had the Coffee with Cream, which had a rich, strong coffee flavor that wasn't overly sweet, and the Chocolate Chocolate, a vegan option that was incredibly creamy with a deep chocolate taste and a faint hint of coconut. Both were delicious, and I'd definitely get them again. The staff was super friendly, offering samples of their unique flavors, which made the visit even more enjoyable. There's not a lot of seating inside so keep that in mind when you visit!

Cute little ice cream shop. They have a small seating area. The ice cream is really good. They also let you sample the ice cream.

I did the custom ice cream sandwich with vanilla ice cream two different cookies- one was the gooey butter cake (overpowering after a few bites) did not finish & the other was like a oreo & cookie mix (much better) and did finish. Vanilla ice cream was decent, but nothing special. I might get it again if I was in the area and really had a sweet tooth, but I would definitely go for some different flavors because they just didn't hit the same this time.

A milestone. A monument. A celebration of a man whose legend looms over Austin like a slightly tipsy bat. Nate Gardog & Co bravely ordered what was advertised as an Oreo cake meant to serve 4-5 humans. What arrived, however, was not a cake. It was not even a mini-cake. It was... a cupcake wearing platform shoes. A baked good masquerading as something it clearly was not. The bag was on us, literally and spiritually. Shane--who, need I remind you, is an Austin icon, a man whose culinary preferences are practically carved into the walls of Barton Springs--was forced to confront this fraudulent pastry. And let me tell you: no man deserves this. Not at 38. Not ever. If the staff at Amy's were the true clairvoyants we believed them to be, they would have inherently known Shane's one, true, universal flavor: Funfetti. Classic. Chaotic. Confetti for the soul. Yet here we stood. Funfetti-less. Candle-less. Hope-less. As the final insult, there were no candles. Not even a sad, melted tea light from the back. Nothing to blow out except disappointment. In conclusion: the vibes were off, the cake was tiny, and Shane--our dear, beloved Shane--deserved better.

It's not a sitdown place so keep that in mind for your stop, but the line does move fast and they are very efficient. There's a good variety of flavors and things they serve from italian ice to ice cream and shakes. We opted for a strawberry italian ice with condensed milk on top. From the first bite we were in heaven. The flavor is very thorough which is not always the case for Italian ices where it can sometimes be a bit muted. Every single bite of this was packed with flavor. They also carve out a bit of the middle to put the condensed milk which makes every bite much more equal than if it was just placed at the top. This was by far one of, if not the best, Italian ices we've ever had. We would very much recommend it to anyone in the Downtown area looking to cool off.
