My three star rating is based on the prices. Can't leave Starbucks without spending at $7+ Coffee is way too strong for me, I'm more of a caramel frappe with extra caramel drizzle type of girl. The cheese danish is out of this world especially when served warm. The staff at this location has gotten better since it first opened. Location is good however the drive thru line gets messy due to the layout and the sitting area is always clean. This location recently underwent a complete renovation, and wow, is it spectacular! The space is much more open, and features better lighting, awesome seating options and feels much more modern. The service is still as good as ever, and the faces are friendly, too. The awkward side entrance that used to see customers weaving in and our of cars in the drive thru line has been thankfully retired; In its place is a nice little "atrium" area with a vanity wall to keep the noise down. Fast, courteous( smiles included) service is what a stands out at this location. Oh, and they have nitro cold brew! Otherwise the location has a long table, barstool style tables as well as two person tables and a few comfy chairs; a good combination for the footprint of the location without being cramped. I don't think this location has a drive through...or maybe I wasn't paying attention. The internet was free as always and overall clean. Wow. Just wow. I haven't been to this Starbucks location since last year and WOW has it changed. They've completely renovated the inside AND outside of the cafe. Before, it would be tough to find a table with an outlet. Now, almost every single table has access to an electrical outlet and I think that's super important for cafes. A large number of people go to Starbucks to work, study, or have meetings so thank you Starbucks for the plugs! The cafe itself looks more spacious and looks a lot nicer than before! Make sure you bring a sweater or hoodie because it is absolutely freezing inside. Thankfully, the newly renovated patio looks beautiful, there are countless tables, and even electrical outlets outside! If you haven't downloaded the Starbucks app you are truly missing out! This Starbucks in West Allen TX is hands down the best one I've been to. The baristas consistently do a great job making the beverages and the service is excellent. Yesterday, I made a Starbucks stop to get a tall ice caramel macchiato and gift card. The drive-thru service was fast and the my drink was just right. I tipped the barista, which he was very appreciative for. I recommended them to put out a tip jar by drive/thru window. He jokingly said "All our tips are going to fly away" haha. I'm glad this location does such a great job with maintaining the Starbucks brand. Loveee getting my caffeine fix from here. read more

Arrived at a time where traffic was not high. Store peers to be clean and well-maintained with exception of sign torn from bathroom door. Restrooms were also clean and well kept. Prepackaged food was it attractively displayed & well-kept. Out of some items but end of day so expected. Sedrick was my barista and his attitude was excellent. Smiles and greetings from all who served me. Did not see consistency in greetings of all customers during visit. Pallet of boxes and bananas left on floor outside of restroom area during entire visit even though very little traffic and drive through had slowed down. I would say this store has definitely improved but there is still room for training related improvements. Increased from 1 star to 3 since this store now meets expectations but doesn't exceed or stand out yet. It would take very little to make this a 5 Star store. So I will admit, I am a Starbucks addict and can't get enough of this stuff. The only thing they could do to make this better is give me an IV with a caffeine drip. This location is awesome, the service is always great, and whether I am inside or outside I am always greeted with a smile. You know you got it bad when you come here so often that they recognize you by your car. The staff here is wonderful and it does not matter who I get at the drive-through or the registry, I always receive a great attitude and a drink that is make consistent to the standards that I hold high for Starbucks. I really like this location! Often if I have work to do I'll drive out of my way to go to this Starbucks. It's got a really great outdoor seating area. It is enclosed with a trellis covered in greenery so in the summer it provides great shade and you don't realize you are so close to a major road. The drinks and food are on point and the staff is great. My wife accidentally left her purse there one evening. I called before we got home and one of the staff members had already seen it and turned it into the manager. The manager told us we could just come through the drive through and collect it so we wouldn't have to get out of the car. this location has been my favorite out of the Bethany location and Spring Creek location. Bethany employees aren't friendly and the line doesn't move well. spring creek location is as slow as molasses in winter and they always get my order wrong. I went to this location Friday and Saturday and both days the drinks were not good. Friday, the drinks were not filled to the top. there was about an inch left in the cup, which was frustrating considering the drink was $6. Saturday the drinks (Frapp's) were completely liquid and also didn't taste great. also, the girl at the window Saturday was very rude and completely not personable at all. I don't like it when the barista is trying to hand you your order and talk to the person at the drive through at the same time. really sucks since the other locations nearby are horrible, too. I hope they can get it together. update once again: my husband came here this morning to get me a treat. i'm at home sick with pneumonia. he ordered me a white mocha frap with decaf and coconut milk. they even repeated it back to him. what we got was a regular mocha frap which is disgusting, btw. thanks, starbucks, for once again wasting $6 of our money on something we didn't order. read more

I hate to give such a low review, as we used to frequent this location very often, but there is one thing that I can't ignore about this location that has caused us to go to the Bethany Drive location just one exit South of McDermott : flies. Copious amounts of gross house flies buzzing all over the place, including in the bakery display and on the cafe appliances. I'm not sure if the staff just isn't keeping the store clean, or the management isn't getting the location sprayed regularly for insects, but there were tons of flies inside the last time my wife and I sat down for an afternoon with our laptop and iPad to do concentrate on some work / relax. After a trip to their bathroom, which at the time smelled like a dirty truck stop and was missing paper towels to dry my hands, I am going to guess that the staff is not cleaning the place very thoroughly. After less than an hour, we couldn't stand the constant buzzing or waving of our hands trying to swat them away any more so we left. We will definitely be avoiding this location until I feel up to stopping back inside to see if the fly problem has been addressed. Otherwise I can't recommend this Starbucks location to anyone. read more

Normally get decent service here. Drive thru can be slow during rush hour. But the past couple times my order has been incorrect. Twice I've ordered blueberry oatmeal and received it with no blueberries. The first time I didn't notice it until I was at work. The second time I had to wait for a while then the drive thru barista told me there were no blueberries. Instead of offering something else or giving me a coupon for my next visit. He just said to come back another time and they'll give me a free oatmeal. Not sure what I'm supposed to do to prove I get a free oatmeal. They're gonna take me on my word? Let me start off my saying I'm a die hard coffee lover. Love me some coffee!!! This Starbucks is really nice to study and have light conversation because it offers a wide variety of seating. There are leather arm chairs as well. The staff has always been really nice and I haven't ever had a problem other than the bathroom being pretty smelly. Will be back again! Hubby and I use their drive-thru often. If we're just having a crappy start to our day, the awesome service and perfect soy chai latte always cheers me up. The line moves pretty quickly most days, and I've even the the recipient of a Pay It Forward (the person ahead of me at the drive thru paid for my drink!). I've only ever had one issue with the drive through (the lid of a lemonade tetra pack ended up in my chai once) and that was appropriately dealt with. I feel bad about not tipping - I use my gold Starbucks card all the time. I wish there was an option to tip with those. For the times we actually do go inside, the store is always clean, usually pretty busy and the staff are equally as friendly. This is one of my neighbourhood hangouts, for sure. read more

I want to just say this location is such a friendly and great establishment. I've been to plenty Starbucks through the years, being the coffee loving person I am. I visit this location atleast 3 or 4 times a week. Today the lady at the drive-thru I can only assume was the store manager was fantastic! Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was such a joy to deal with. She asked how my day was and noticed my uniform and asked how we were doing. Definitely connected on a manager level.
