I'd say my favorite dessert of all was the custard croissant donut. It tasted like a churro with custard... just the right amount of sweetness. The waffles were good. I'd say I would have hope the texture of the waffles were a bit more soft, but overall still good. The staff that helped me was super sweet, and service was fast. The space is actually a lot bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Plenty of seating - big space to enjoy your treats and coffee, study, place games, etc. read more

Ambiance is adorable. They have an amazing work station in the center and very tranquil work space if you need an office away from home. I had the bulgogi sandwich which was good but small, lil man had the sausage croissant and a craffle. I also had a jasmine milk tea and he had a mango smoothie. Everything was yummy. My only gripe was that they didn't have breakfast sandwiches later in the day as it is more of a breakfast type place I would figure they would serve it all day. The were open early and that's always a plus. I was here for about three hours starting from just after 6:00 and using Caffe Promenade as my first "office" of the day. A great coffee and a delicious donut as I powered away at the keyboard. The place is comfortable, a little eclectic and quite busy with people coming and going to get their coffee in the morning. In Dallas for the weekend for my daughter to work with her Hitting Coach in the morning while she was working out, I needed a coffee. This place was so good!! Drip coffee was super tasty and had great flavor and was very robust. I got three pastries and they were all amazing. Mochi donut was for her. She loves them. The cream filled Cronut was delicious, and light and flaky and the cream had just the right amount of sweetness. I had my first cruffle and thins Korean waffle had it going on!!! The two ladies that took care of me were extremely courteous and very hard-working. I love the vibe of the coffee shop and I would definitely hang out there if I had had more time. Very unique and fun menu offerings. I had an americano and cronut, both really tasty and well priced! The interior was also extremely nice and well thought out, easy to grab and go or stay a while. My qualm comes with the service. They seemed quite flustered by three people waiting for coffee, and truth be told it took a tad long to get these items with the staff they had, may consider a different system between ordering drinks and getting them made, otherwise a great place to grab a morning cup. read more

I've been coming to this place for years. First and foremost, the ambiance of the place is so relaxing. It's very chill, it's very relaxing, their music choice is so nice. It's a wonderful place to study due to how quiet and relaxing is. The owner is nothing but delightful and their service is very good. The food is great too! Definitely an interesting coffee shop! It's right next to Allen ISD office and an elementary school off Bethany. You would easily miss this coffee shop unless you are a regular (like I have seen groups coming here to knit/chat/study). The ambience is old fashioned and rusty. I ordered their mochi donuts and cronut (they had a special buy one get one free) as well as their matcha latte. My matcha latte was quite tasty and I enjoyed it very much (creamy and smooth). But their cronut was interesting. Even though it looked very tasty, it was hard to finish. It was just too chewy. I could barely cut it into halves with my plastic knife. And my little one could barely finish it as it took him so much effort to finish his bite of cronut. Really liked the drink but not so much the pastries. 3 1/2 stars! read more

I came here last week during the absolute coldest day during the freeze and OMG! It is exactly what I needed! It was SOO cozy and I felt super into the comfy winter mood. The hot chocolate was so warm and yummy and the vibes of the place were just so relaxed. I love how aesthetic it looks inside. I wanted to take so many pictures! The blueberry croffle was also absolutely delicious. I wish they were bigger for their price, but I loved it nonetheless. The service was awesome, too! This is a nice study spot. They had a large table with outlets. Didn't try any of their drinks. The croffle was amazing and the mochi donut was really yummy too. We would say that the price was fair. The mochi donut sold from here was a real nice balance btwn a mochi and a donut--slightly leaning more towards a donut cause of it's fluffiness. We were so excited to try this place out after figuring out what they are serving - Croffle - is the hybrid of Croissant and Waffle, yes, a sister to the Cronut. And the price points are expensive... $4.5 for original, which is somewhat acceptable considering everything is expensive these days, but $6 for flavored is way too expensive for what we got. I have been here a few times and I do enjoy their coffee. It's not the best but far from the worst. Last time I visited, the owner/manager was yelling very loudly behind the employee taking my order which caused difficulty in hearing each other so I had to repeat my order. It was a little uncomfortable how loud it was and I wouldn't advise doing that in front of customers, if at all, but the one taking my order was very kind and apologized on the managers behalf and I still left with a good coffee. One thing I really do not like is that I have been here several times during normal business hours to find that they are randomly closed. The lack of consistency would have scored this a 2 for me, but I believe there is potential and the quality of coffee is there. Just need to step it up a little in operations. read more

I ventured down the road since there was a line around the building at Starbucks (absurd), and found this little gem that I always just thought was a deli. You would never know it's this eclectic from the outside!! Check them out!! This is the Four Seasons painted as a 3D mural on each wall, and a once water fountain with trees in the corner... not pictured is an old barn door and large wooden table with outlets for laptops. The atmosphere in itself is worth the trip. I had a soymilk java chip Frappuccino, and there are tons of options to choose from including fresh smoothies... next time I'll try the avocado smoothie. But instead there's a well-rounded menu, extremely spacious dining area, solid wifi, and munchies. The donuts are average, nothing that I would rave about. But the selection is solid and the basics are all there. Love the occasional Hello Kitty and penguin donut holes! Good lattes and coffees at really decent prices. I actually love that the drinks are on the hotter side without being requested. Love the music (which could get loud... either that or I need better headphones), decor, and mismatched furniture. And I never realized how hard it was to find donuts anywhere in North Dallas in the afternoon. D*** my sweet tooth. Another gripe about you Dallas - with all your donut shops in town, do they all have to close before 1 pm? All of them? Really? Well this place flatly says no. And I concur. Anyways, other things going for this place: - spacious, plenty of tables and chairs and even another room. What a great place to come, sit and enjoy. Although I didn't have time to do that on this trip, I was there to grab breakfast and coffee to go, but I look forward to coming back. There's a large table with a fire pit like strip down the table. The walls are painted and created for a forest-y theme and there are plenty of cozy seats amongst the tables and chairs. I ordered; chocolate cake donut, chocolate glazed donut, egg & potato breakfast burrito, sausage/egg/cheese biscuit and a coffee. I walked away for $10, not bad! The donuts were super yummy and the coffee was good too. The breakfast burrito and biscuit were not our favorites. The biscuit was super small, smaller than an egg mcmuffin, and my hubby's pretty sure it was a Jimmy Dean biscuit (see photo). I'm gonna be harsher with my thoughts of breakfast burrito as I'm used to Southern California breakfast burritos. It was a decent size (see photo), but the eggs were soggy and had an odd taste. It was edible, but I probably won't order it again. Everyone was so friendly, and the service was wonderful. Yes, they have a drive thru, but it's for coffee & donuts only! Definitely the inside of this place is unconventional. Up on both sides of the walls, there is tremendous landscape art, which is unrelated to the state of Texas though. Looks like it's from the northwest because of all the pine trees and lakes. There are other things which I can't tell what they are or how they relate to the rest of the stuff. Anyway it's quite a sight to see. I like the large ceramic tiles down on the floor. Not a whole lot of coffee shops here go for such an expensive floor treatment. The seating area is quite spacious and comfortable. There is a big long community table on the right side large enough for six people. It looks like an executive table because of the movable arm chairs. You in fact can have a group meeting or study meeting going on here. It was a Saturday afternoon, and the place was not crowded at all. Everyone there was so focused on their work. Absolutely well behaved. A nice place to get things done. Not sure about on a regular week day. I ordered a chai tea latte. It was super creamy, and the sugar level was just right. But the chai tea taste was next to none. I could hardly tell. I may go for something else next time. May try a green tea latte or one of their many pastry items. Check it out if you're in the vicinity and want to take a break or get some work done. read more

Every time I go in here I am treated incredibly well. The all around aura of the place is calm and peaceful. And the food is just SO FREAKIN GOOD. Like the Dalmatian mochi donuts hit EVERYTIME!!! Plus I be asking them to make these real intricate and kinda complicated smoothies and they make it perfectly EVERYTIME. Love this place and I've been going to it for about a decade now.
