There is zero consistency. I also don't feel like they train the team when they have the weekly cookie so they do not even know what to put on. We got a six pack tonight and two of the cookies had a quarter size of frosting and I had to ask for more and one of the cookies we got did not even have the right toppings on it. Also, we placed our order for pickup at 7:15, we arrived at 7:25 and one of our cookies we ordered was the regular chocolate chip and it was still baking in the oven when we got there and needed 15 more minutes, which means it would have come out at 7:40 which is 25 minutes after our pickup window...... Dropped in to Dirty Dough as our family loves a good cookie. It felt comparable to Crumbl but I would give this a slight nod better. The inner inflated gooey part of the cookie is what makes it a better cookie in my opinion. I also liked the variety. We did try an assortment and I would say the Cookies and Cream was the clear winner. Then the strawberry pop tart and last the Kitchen Sink. Not sure I would get that one again. Went to this location for the first time last night at 5:50 PM. The young lady behind the counter was disgustingly rude. I asked her questions about the cookies and prices and she kept saying." it's on the menu.". Then while she was preparing the cookies, she slammed on all the ovens and was making disgruntled faces. My step mom and sister went to pick these up after deciding we needed cookies the day before Thanksgiving. They did a sample box to which we all tried a bit of all of them, but my favorite was the Oreo cookie. If you do not like peanut butter or only like it a little bit do not get the Reese's one because it is strong on the peanut butter. Surprisingly the chocolate chip that we thought we would like the most was not the favorite it was just a basic cookie. Yesterday was our first trip in. The crew on around 4pm Yesterday thank you doe being so helpful, inviting and nice. My son enjoyed his bok of cookies and shake. The cookies are SoooOOOo good! My faves was rhe dirty cake which is seasonal but so so good! It's got a gooey budget middle and rich cookies dough and chocolate drizzle and of course the area crumble and classic gummy worm. Stopped by for a particular cookie, ordered it online, arrived and was notified it was not available. In its place I picked the chocolate chip cookie. Cookie was small, undercooked and pricey, over $4 for a cookie the average size of most store bought cookies. Taste was there, just disappointed in its texture, was not stuffed either. I bought cookies from here for my children, one which has a peanut allergy. I checked and double checked to make sure nothing I ordered had peanuts. What did I receive? Instead of topping a cookie with Twix candy pieces, this store gave me one topped with butterfinger candy. It took us a bit of time to decide on which cookies to order. We have food allergies in our family, so they were happy to answer questions to ensure we were getting the most out of our first Dirty Dough experience, despite some dietary limitations. We chose the four-box option and chose the following cookies: 1) Brookie (a combination of a chocolate chip and brownie cookie with a caramel sauce drizzle): 4/5 2) Raspberry Toaster Tart (a sugar cookie with raspberry jam filling, topped with sprinkles): 4/5 3) Cookies n Creme (a vanilla cookie with oreo cookie chunks with a creme filling, topped with icing and oreo crumbs): 3/5 4) Stuffed Chocolate Chip (a chocolate chip cookie loaded with chocolate chips): 2/5 This cookie shop is very reminiscent of Crumbl. The cookies are big. In my opinion, one is good enough to share with another person. I would say that, due to the size of the cookies, two of the four cookies may have been slightly undercooked. It's fine if you are into eating cookie dough, but that may not be for everyone. I wouldn't say they are the most amazing cookies we've ever had. I wouldn't even say they are better than Crumbl. However, they have different cookie flavors in rotation, so you can decide if Crumbl flavors or Dirty Dough flavors suit you better based on what they are offering at the time of your cookie cravings. In fact, I had just walked out of anohter local competitor because the emplyees are consistently terrible. Times are tough for businesses, but we are tired of giving business to compaines who hire trash employees. Thankfully, Dirty Dough Allen is NOT one of those. Ray was a bright light. He was so personable and respectful. He was happy to be at work. Happy to do his job and, went above and beyond. We watched him get frustrated because the cookies were not prepared to a standard of excellence set by him. While he prepared our order he cheerfully chatted, but expressed sincere enthusiasm and gratitude for the Dirty Dough Company and all of the opportunities that he saw with the company. Delightful! The service was great, so no fault of the young lady working the counter. What I'm reviewing is the cookies themselves. they were not baked completely. The middle of the cookies were cold and raw. I took one bite and had to dispose of the contents in my mouth. My kids also were grossed out and so we thought that if we put them in the oven like advised on the box that they would be better. Nope. I emailed photos of the insides of these cookies and whoever wrote back said they looked delicious. I'm curious as to who is eating half raw cold cookies??? Even the basic chocolate chip cookie was raw (no added stuffing). Would never recommend a place that states raw cookies are normal and look great.
