Wow! So I found this spot on Yelp and didn't fully read everything that it entailed. But this is a brownie bakery that is ran from their home. Now hear me out. I was taken back at first because I literally followed the gps that lead me to their house. So I called the number and Mr. Earl politely introduced himself with the company and told me that it was not a problem that he would bring the variety tray out of brownies for us to choose. Mr. Earl such a pleasant man the CEO of the company came out with this tray of all these brownies. We chose the Red Velvet, Triple Chocolate, Reese's Cup, Granny Apple Blonde, and the Snickers. So far we tried the Red Velvet and the Reese's Cup, and OMG. These brownies are so soft and moist and just delicious. They are very rich so if you are like me you can't eat it in one sitting, but you will enjoy every bite that you take. Mr. Earl was so pleasant he even took time to tell us the success story they have had with building their business from the ground up. Pros: the brownies were good. Cons: buying on a Saturday night from a home in a residential area made me feel like I was buying drugs. This was not curbside pickup. I had to get out of my car, walk to the front door, and ring the doorbell. I waited on the porch in the cold (31 degrees but felt like 15 with wind chill) as they went to find my order, and then come back out to explain to me why it would have been better to buy from their site as opposed to GrubHub. We didn't realize this place was being serviced out of a home, but the buying process was easy. We called, and they asked us to park in front of their house and within minutes brought out a tray of their full selection - there were a dozen varieties to choose from. The ones with toppings are very sweet, but we found the triple chocolate the best. Rich with chocolatey flavor but actually light in crumb and texture. It was a real delight! The first thing I want to start off by saying is what I didn't like- which is only one thing. The rest will be all good things to say haha. But what I hated was the inconsistency within the products. I came here twice (drove 40 minutes to get to this location- TWICE, because of how good they are.) But within those two times, some products were more "melted" and some where more "chilled"- I'll get more into details within the review. Snickers brownie: The first time I came here, I got the snickers brownie (I labeled it as "Snickers brownie (1)" in the pictures) and as you can see, it has a nice chocolate layer on top and looks more "put together". When I ate this, MY TOES CURLED. IT WAS THE BEST BROWNIE IVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I'm not even a big brownie person, but this brownie really changed my life haha. However, my second time coming here, I was so excited for the snickers brownie, but I felt like I got a completely different product. (I labeled as "Snickers brownie (2)" in the pictures) It didn't have that nice hard chocolate piece on top, and the caramel was super runny. To me it felt like it was left under the sun and a lot of it melted away. I tried a few of their brownies that also had that texture. Not sure if that's how it's intentionally suppose to be, hard to say with the inconsistency. My favorites for sure was the pecan pie and the snickers. Some of the others I've tried were good too, but nothing special. I love the German chocolate, however it just had that "it's been sitting under the sun and melted" texture to it as well. Also the peanut butter swirl didn't seem like it had any peanut butter to me. All were still good regardless, but would like to have the option if we want it melted or cold. Earl is a real jewel helping me maneuver thru the DaBomb webpage and get my order placed accurately. The order arrived earlier than expected & that is always a plus. I believe this order from DaBomb was my 8th in the last six months. Everyone who has received them think they are divine. YOU must give them a try to fully understand how delicious the Da Bomb Brownies are. They are large brownies and one brownie can easily be cut into 4 smaller pieces. Easier to cut if placed in the refrigerator firs, cut and then let come to room temperature before eating. My husband typically hates German chocolate cake, but devoured the German chocolate brownie in one sitting (which is a high compliment from him). The Apple blond was absolutely unique and delicious! It's like nothing I've tried before, and the apple flavor is authentic. The Holly jolly was like a square of speculoos cheesecake. All of the brownies were moist and fresh. Tonight we ordered the triple chocolate, peanut butter swirl, classic duo, and carrot cake blonde. When our order arrived, Da Bomb had given us an extra carrot cake blonde (pic attached). Everything we ordered is better than perfect. I was hesitant to try the classic duo, because I've found that the cookie portion tends to be dry at other establishments. Well...Our family looooves brownies! My husband said he had the taste for a brownie - so I Googled and discovered this business. We got 3 brownies: Triple Chocolate Brownies / Nutty / Snickers. Unfortunately, my son and I felt our brownies (Triple Chocolate / Nutty) were tooo chocolatey = taking away from tasting the brownie itself.
