Can't believe there's a Filipino bakery in town! The workers were friendly and engaging in conversation, they even asked me and my friend if we've tried their señorita bread and gave us a free sample! Which is honestly such a delicious bread. The prices for their products aren't that bad at all in my opinion. And I felt that the place was so nice and clean. Definitely a must try! read more

Señorita bread is sooo good. I called to order 25 pieces on my way to work. Said I'd be there in 20 minutes. Got there and my order was ready to go which was great. The bread was hot and everyone at work loved it. Service was great as well. Very friendly and quick. Can't wait to go back. read more

Came for the senorita bread and was not disappointed! Bread was warm and reminded me a lot of a donut. Service was fast and easy. This location is small and hidden in a shopping center across from the Tyler mall. I would love to go back and try the other breads as well! read more

So excited that there is a new location in So Cal closer to us. We drove 30 minutes to this Riverside location once we found out they were open, driving out to Anaheim and Carson is farther for us. The last time I had Starbread was up in NorCal a few years ago. Our go to is the señorita bread, and they serve it to you fresh out the oven. Michelle helped us today and we were even offered free señorita bread samples, just a warm and delicious as we remember. We just ordered about 80 pieces of señorita bread to have at home and share with family and coworkers. They have many other baked goods, so we also got some donuts and pan de sal. I been going since their first location in the bay, every time I would make sure I grabbed as many as I could. Now that they opened one in riverside they see me every 2 weeks damn near lmao. Yeppp I came here because of TikTok and it def lived up to the hype. Their starbread came out piping hot and I almost burned my hands lol. It took about 5 mins. My only disappointment was we came on a Sunday and they didn't serve malasadas or anything else. read more

First time trying this bakery after finding it randomly on yelp while craving something sweet or decadent. Happy to say this place met both criteria, I purchased a variety of the malasadas and my family was immediately taken aback by their deliciousness. The owner was kind and made sure my first experience was a good one by providing her senorita bread fresh from the oven. I will not expect that special treatment every time as I plan to visit again but even when I had them later, they were just as good as they were fresh. (a microwave + 20 secs are your friends ;D ) The balance of filling and the bread was just right that one element didn't overpower the other. I've tried the strawberry and ube (fave) ones only b/c my family inhaled the others so I'll have to come back for another attempt. I recommend anyone who's looking for a cozy treat to come and try them for themselves. read more

I was very happy when I left the AMC theatre to find starbread came to the IE! It's just as good as any of the other locations. Same delicious senorita breads and quality warm customer service. The senorita bread is given hot and fresh and the variety of malasadas with fillings always hit the spot. Buttery, sweet bread and just the right size malasada for a satifsying guilt free treat. I love that they come in boxes to hold its shape and not move around in a bag. I recommend getting a box of bread and dozen malasadas to bring to your next family /friend gathering - wont break the wallet and will be such a hit. read more

If you haven't been to this place yet, do so. If you've been to Hawaii, malasadas is their staple dessert for locals. Everyone should know about malasadas because it's equivalent to cream filled donuts normally with chocolate filled or custard. Starbread is also known for their senorita bread that is served freshly baked and filled with butter and sugar, it's to die for. Sorry, I didn't take pictures, our kids devoured them, cheers. read more

So glad Riverside has one now because normally I would stop in OC for a fix. Doesn't matter what time of day I stop in for a bread order, I receive fresh out the oven and find myself eating a few before the box makes it home to the rest of the family lol. You can ear it next day too, warm it up in the microwave and it takes just as good as it was the day before. read more
