Prompt and efficient communication. Friendly service. Was able to come by very quickly and did a fast and perfect job.

Wow! I used Yelp AI to find a locksmith and it was an amazing experience. We needed a deadbolt lock replaced at our home and I had been putting off this task for quite a while. Finally it was time to do something. I was sitting at a car dealership waiting for my car to be serviced and I had Yelp find me a locksmith. Within a just a few minutes I had responses from two locksmiths. Star Locksmiths, Bulent, was reasonably priced and at my home the next morning. The install was quick and he rekeyed the lock to match our existing keys. He even adjusted the handle for the regular lock (below) so the cold air wouldn't come through between the door and the door frame. We were really pleased and will use Star Locksmiths again. Thank you! read more

Needed a car key replaced last minute on a weekend. Called around and they were the only ones who could come out same day. He had the right equipment with him to cut and program the key on site, no need to tow the car anywhere. read more

Excellent communication, responsiveness and work. Will be my go-to locksmith from now on!

Bulent was upfront on his pricing, communicative, fast and did exactly what he said he was going to do. We would work with him again.

Was having an issue with a loose doorknob and spindle. Bulent came out same day to assess the state of the door, and took the time to walk through what the issue was, how it needed to be fixed, and what would be the cost. Upon closer inspection, Bulent informed me that some of the door would have to be drilled through to access the spindle, due to improper install by the previous owners. We decided to pause the work, and Bulent proposed a temporary fix free of charge. For now the doorknob is functioning perfectly. Will definitely be reaching out to him again when we are ready for the full replacement. read more

Great Company, came the same day and fixed the lock. Price was reasonable and repair people were very nice.

I can't say enough good things about Star Locksmith and Berke. It's really nice to find a family-run business that prides itself on being professional, kind and reasonably priced. I lost the key fob to my car and Berke was able to replace it even though it was an older car and wasn't as easy a process as hoped. He ordered the key quickly and kept in communication to update me as to when it would be in. As a female home owner, I have dealt with a lot of service providers who mansplain, are patronizing, or dismissive and it was refreshing to work with Berke. I would give this company 5 stars if possible! read more

Beat the other guys quotes and did an excellent job. In and out in half an hour, would use again read more

Bulent and Vali are very thorough and efficient. I have used them for several projects and it has been great working with them. I highly recommend Star Locksmith. read more

I highly recommend this place. He rekeyed my lock and gave me three keys for it. It's a desk lock, which had fallen out of the desk. He also screwed it back in for me. He did charge me to come here because it was a long way for him, but I expected that. The cost to rekey and install the lock was minimal, so the overall cost was still great. read more

Veli arrived on time and replaced my door locks efficiently and quickly. He even made a few copies of the new key, which I needed. Price was very reasonable. Excellent job. I highly recommend Star Locksmith to anyone. read more

Bulent was stellar - skillful, gracious and fair prices. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Bulent, you are a credit to locksmiths! Transparent pricing, expert installation, with attention to detail and job site cleanliness. Did I mention punctual and responsive. 14 re-keys and a deadbolt install were flawless and seemless. Take all your locksmith needs to Bulent! read more

I can't speak more highly about Bulent. Best locksmith experience ever. His communication was amazing and his work highest quality and fairly priced. Came within hours of my reaching out on a weekend. He removed a broken key and installed a deadbolt. He mentioned that another company is impersonating his and scamming people so he wants to be sure people use his actual phone number: 617-782-9204 or 617-820-7822. read more

Bulent did a great job: Fixed 2 door locks for us and coded remotes for an old garage door opener. Came right on time as promised. Delivered the price discussed: high quality service at a fair price. Fast response. Haven't used service due to my location from business but seems like a good choice for an emergency situation.

Bulent answered the phone and was super easy to coordinate with. He told me when to expect his guy, Veli, and how much to expect to pay for the service: $100. I could pay any of the ways (cash, Zelle, Venmo, credit card, etc.). Veli arrived around 1.5 hours later. If it's important for you, this was a weekday, midday/early-afternoon. Both Bulent and Veli were out answering calls. More context: my lock was a number pad, electronic lock. The batteries were fine, but it was beeping weird, and the lock mechanism did not seem to be moving. Anyway, Veli came and pushed open my door. I felt stupid. But, he did mess around with my lock a bit and determined that my lock was broken and needed to be replaced. That was a helpful diagnosis and pointed me toward a resolution. He changed me $50 instead of $100. Then, because I had cash and he didn't have the right amount of change, I think I paid around $56. read more

Excellent experience - very clear about pricing, arrived on time and gave helpful advice for streamlining the rekeying/lock swap experience. We hit a hiccup with mismatched brands and he kindly let me run to Home Depot to pick up what I needed and then came back later without an additional charge or need to reschedule. Highly recommend. read more

I needed to old door locks replaced. I thought I needed to replace all the hardware and i didn't. He was able to change the inner part out the part where the key goes in. He was responsive to my questions, efficient, straight to the point, knowledgeable, presented me options and gave me advice on what type of doorknobs i need for bedrooms. We arranged something promptly and a new set of keys were made in no time. read more

The button lock on our outside door started getting stuck. We were almost locked out yesterday and almost locked in this morning. I called Star Locksmith based on the ratings here. I spoke with Bulent who gave me an estimated time to arrive. He was very prompt and was professional and courteous. He took a look at our lock and gave us a couple of options. He was able to replace the lock quickly and took away our old lock for recycling. The new lock looks great on our door. No more worries about getting locked out (or in). Bulent did a fabulous job and it was an excellent experience. He is the first person I will call in the future when we need a locksmith service. read more

We needed to install deadbolts and called a couple of locksmith to compare prices. Bulent offered the most competitive rates. We booked an appointment with him, and he showed up on time. He wore a mask and got to work immediately. He was very respectful and professional. He also finished the task well within the quoted timeframe. And when I mentioned Yelp, he kindly offered 10% off. Highly recommend!! Thank you, Bulent! Also just a tip for other Yelpers, while it may be handy to use "request a quote" feature via the Yelp app for services like this, I find it more helpful to call directly since the listed general questions may not cover all the information they need. read more

Great attentive service and know-how! Installed new code access lock to backdoor and fixed our skeleton key to our outdoor porch.

I found myself in a situation today that necessitated changing my home locks ASAP. Bulent not only responded incredibly quickly, but provided 2 very reasonable quotes, and then drove outside his typical coverage area on a Friday evening to help me. Excellent quality new locks and service, and he was incredibly pleasant and friendly too! I could not be more grateful for his time and gift of safety today. read more

My experience was really great. I had wanted a deadbolt lock replaced. Bulent gave me different quotes/options with how to proceed and was incredibly prompt with messaging on the app. He told me what lock he would provide me so I could purchase it myself at a lower cost. When he arrived he noticed that it was a different color from my handle and suggested I trade locks with him since he had one that would match in his truck at no extra cost. The replacement took just under 10mins & he made duplicate keys for me. I'm a friendly person but I appreciated how he came in to do the job with not too much catering. He answered my questions very respectfully. A great experience all around. read more

Bulent was very professional from the start of my quote request to the end where he fixed my locks. The high rating that Star Locksmith has is well deserved. I would definitely recommend this company for any locksmith work. The price was also cheaper than the other quotes that I received, so there was value to go along with his expertise. Bulent answered all of my questions and completed the job in a timely & professional manner. read more
