This is the closest office supplies store. But it's so dismal inside and their layout is weird, I am not a fan!!

One and a half stars because they were good once every five times I've used their copy and print services. But most of their employees should get more training in troubleshooting the printer especially their plotter (I use to get blueprints printed here instead of kinko's since they don't have a 24-hour turn around) I know it's not the employee's fault and I don't want to be a wench, but staples is all about making things easy. However the easiest thing to do is seek alternative copy/reprographic places like South Bay Reprographics or Prints Charles Reprographics in Milpitas. The employee at Staples tells me that they have a known issue with the connection from the pc and the plotter for the wide format prints. Well, why hasn't it been fixed already or replaced since I was last here?!?!?! They just lost my businesses and I've been putting up with their mess enough times. The general manager was even behind the counter during the whole ordeal; if she was doing her job she would have apologized and said something to ensure I would still come back.. My issue had fallen on deaf ears.. Prolly will write a letter to corporate.. I will say this: they have the friendlier employees at this location than at other copy and print locations. read more

Photo printing is terrible. I had selection of photography photos printed on their premium 4x6s. It took them a week (which they stated, and I was ok with). They look like garbage (laughably bad). I could print better photos on my $50 printer at home, not exaggeration. Went to London Drugs after, and they had them done in an hour. They look amazing. Definitely avoiding Staples in the future. read more

I've been here a couple times despite it not being in a very convenient location for me. First time was on Black Friday...there was practically nobody here! But I'm sure now I've posted that, Black Fridays here are gonna be crazy. =P I came here recently to redeem the 100 free B&W business cards deal from the copy and print center. I know they're free, but they definitely weren't worth paying for. The software is buggy in placing text, and the cut lines aren't depicted, and although the staff checked and noted that the cut would be pretty close, I moved everything in by recommendation and the borders were still cut way too close to the text. Staples really needs to look into redesigning this software if they want to be able to charge for this service! read more

Now, I don't usually do reviews for 9er fans, however I'll make an exception this one time for Richard. Talk about computer genius! If you need it done on a computer, Richard's your guy. I've been trying to get some stickers done for my husbands company for quite some time with no luck. I even tried to do it myself....huge FAIL! Fast forward to today, I walk into Staples and Richard greets me with a smile. I explain what I need and he gets right to it, still smiling, mind you. He works his computer magic and creates 9 pages of beautiful, custom stickers. YAY!!!! At a very reasonable price too. Richard the computer wizard/genius is an absolute asset to the Staples team. Of course, this review wouldn't be complete if I didn't mention Jamie and Veronica. Who are both extremely helpful and knowledgeable in what they do. Thanks to the wonderful copy & print center team (Richard, Veronica and Jamie) for continually striving to exceed all of my printing needs! KUDOS!!!!! read more

Don't go here unless you want to be "secretly" followed by a manager! She was acting like she was on the phone shopping but really was following us all over the store. It made us feel really uncomfortable so we DID NOT buy what we came there for. I will not be back. & if the Indian woman following us so happens to read this, no one was shop lifting you idiot! We are all college students who just started school last week and needed some supplies. We all have jobs & $$$$. We will be sure to tell everyone we know not to buy anything from your store. I sent 7 digital photos to Staples for printing, and then the exact same photos to Walmart (as a result). Staples was terrible - blurry! darkened and poor colour rendition. Walmart's were perfect, matching exactly what I see on my computer. What I got from Staples was thrown in the garbage - a waste of money. read more

Very very disappointed with there service. I took my desk top to get service on the 3rd of this month and still it has not been fixed,spoke to different techs about my computer and I was given different prices and was told they would call me back. Spoke to gm but not any help. I'm going to pick it up and take it where it wii get fixed and never go to that store again. read more

Great staples location, friendly service and solid selection. It's good to see USPS services here now, def a step above going to the actual USPS plagued with long lines and rude service. I'll let these folks work out their kinks before committing to them, I had some packages mailed from them 2 weeks ago and were returned to me due to "insufficient postage" that they calculated. Came here July 15th to print some programs for my son's wedding that was taking place the next day and was happily helped by Aaron. Although new to the team (3 days in), he did everything he could to help me with the printing. I had a few issues trying to retrieve the electronic file but through patience we finally got it done. There were a few questions he needed to have answered and was able to call on Holly, Veronica and Lauren to assist with no issue. For a Staples it's really good. Every time I've gone I've found what I've wanted from paper to notepads, boxes to folders; I've never had a problem and everything has always been in stock. The prices are fine I don't feel outraged. It's in a busy and yet sleepy shopping center so there is a ton of parking. Oddly the help here has been fantastic. To a cashier opening another register to help me quicker, to a guy helping me shove an office chair in my backseat, to the oh so young cashier girls I've had nothing but the nicest, attentive, quick service. So oddly for a chain type store I have absolutely no complaints. read more

Do you need something printed? Do not go here. Phone orders are available for pickup right? Not here. They like to watch you wait. Every other store will hand your package over immediately. I spoke to a manager and she supports this asinine strategy. This store just doesn't get it. read more

A great place to shop! The employees are always friendly and helpful. The store will match competitor's coupons and special deals, and the occasional return is handled without incident. If an employee doesn't have the answer to your question, he/she will find someone who does. Highly recommended. read more

I am a regular customer here and in general, I find the store and people who work there very nice and very professional. The computer guy is exceptional as the short-staffed crew behind the counters and print area. BUT the post office system stinks....when you want to use the USPS service, you can not send a simple package without disclosing the contents, and you can not mail anything through the regular US Post Office without giving them your phone number and them typing it into an account. The price for sending it was more than the EXACT package in size and weight and destination than the regular post office (I mail the same kind of packages regularly) and it took about a balf hour to more to send 4 or 5 of them. You also have to sign an agreement statement too. Some things good about the place, but I cant rely on the post office section..... too bad for Staples, as I used to browse around there and used to make some kind of purchase while I was in the store. MANAGERS: Pay attention to what I am saying here... its a golden opportunity you are passing up and the holiday season is coming up in a few months! read more

Like most reviewers that have horrible experiences, I truly wish I could give negative stars. My husband got a little extra money in his paycheck so we decided to get a printer that we've been waiting to get. We saw it in store (I wish I had just gone in to get it instead of online) and I ordered it online to be picked up in store. The only reason (and last time I do this) was because my husband was still at work and I wanted to make sure they had it ready for us when we got there. I figured I'll pay for it now, and just go in and pick it up and we're good. Staples.com charged my card, but cancelled my order-couldn't verify billing address. We just moved and our address is not the same as our billing as the bank is connected to our old address. Since we were going to pick it up, I wasn't aware this was an issue. I did not receive any type of email or call (they have all that info from the order) that my order was cancelled. The only reason I found out is when I didn't get a confirmation email from the store that the printer was ready, I called. The store had no record of my order so I called the 800 number. That's when I found out they cancelled it. I'm still waiting to get my money back from them. read more

I've had various projects for my company printed through her, and she's a life-saver. When other associates made an error to my order, she quickly fixed and got me on my way. What a personable location. Greeted as soon as I walk through the doors. At least three staff members checked on me while I roamed the aisles. Great location to come to. I ordered holiday cards through an amazing groupon deal and they turned out beautifully. Will definitely be back when in need of office supplies or a print shop. read more

They have a wide variety of stuff that an office junkie like me needs. I was greeted as I walked through the door, I was asked if I needed help in the weekly planner aisle, and the cashier was nice. A+ for customer service overall. The cashier was Joshua and he was very friendly. He saved me a few bucks on a "clearance" planner that was originally $12.99 and on clearance for $12.99. What?! So he gave me a coupon for 40% off which was awesome. Before I left he gave me his card in case I ever needed tech help. I live near by so I'll be back to feed my office supply addiction and perhaps some tech help later. read more

I called 11 AM Monday morning for a stock check. I was on hold for 10 minutes until I hung up. I ended up driving to the store to find three employees in the front with no customers. They didn't have the item. Time waster for me. They should be more eager to help customers. I will continue support local business. read more

"That was easy..." NOT.Thanks to my nearby office sending me to Staples to buy some copy paper, I am one of the newest Staples reward members. So now I get all the emails. They are offering a deal to trade in your old laptop (as long as 1. it turns on, 2. it has the power cord and 3. the screen is not damaged) for $100-200 off the price of a new machine. I checked the prices against their competitors and knew I was going to get a good deal. What I did not count on was all the hassle involved to get it. First, no mere salesperson can help with the computers, you have to get the "tech" to do it. And my tech seemed to think there were more conditions to the offer than what was printed in the terms and conditions (print it out folks, you'll need it if you come here)! Yes, I had to show him. And one of the other techs saw how badly this was beginning to go and intervened on my behalf. Then you have to (supposedly) deal with the back-office accounting system Staples uses that makes it hard to redeem an offer. Then it seems the computer is "out of stock" but they will ship it to me free - IN A WEEK. Then the tech could not figure out how to make the system accept the paperwork it took him 45 minutes to generate. It took OVER AN HOUR for me to try to spend my money. Then to add insult to injury, the tech wants to upsell me extended warranties, pro tech support AND antivirus. (Hint to Staples: this sort of thing makes customers go elsewhere - or maybe you have not noticed yet...but you will). As soon as I finish this review, I am cancelling my Staples rewards membership since I don't want to spend hours redeeming the rewards you offer. read more

Not good at answering the phone, prices have way gone up so compare. I recommend using Amazon Prime and ordering online. Takes less time than waiting for someone to answer the phone. My copy order took over a week and was delivered late. Find alternatives. Their staffing is too low. read more

Terrible online print service. You log into Staples.com, and then go to print services, and it logs you off. Seems like there is a different password or something for print services, as my password didn't work. I tried to reset the password and it asked the answer to a secret question, and I must be getting it wrong. It offers no other way to reset the password. I call customer service and I sit on hold for far too long. I'm writing this review as I am on hold waiting for the next available assistant. I don't need to wait any longer to conclude it has been a horrible experience. read more

I am writing this review based on my experience at their USPS/mail service center. I have no idea about the rest of the store, and can't really comment on prices, deals, and quality of their items. I stopped by here earlier today to send a small package to a friend in San Francisco. I decided to go with the USPS flat rate Priority Mail, so grabbed a medium USPS envelope and shoved my items in it. Since my item was a picture frame and quiet bulky, the corners of the envelope hardly came together to be safely sealed. I sealed the envelope, and went ahead to the registrar and, before the cashier start to ring me up, I politely asked her if I can use small bit of their tape on my envelope just to make sure that it is securely sealed and won't collapse open on its way to San Francisco. Her answer was very surprising and somehow nonsense. She answered: " I'm so sorry Miss, but we will have to charge you $1 for the tape! It's our policy. We keep losing hundreds of dollars every year on the tape that costumers demand us to use on their packages. I'm so sorry..." Very disappointing, and cheap for such a business like Staples! I hope the business owner/managers reads me here, so I can make a comment on this 'policy'. First of all, who is this we, when she said we keep losing hundreds of dollars....?? Is it Staples or USPS? I'm using a USPS flat rate envelope, and I asked for a piece of tape to secure my envelope's seal, and I'm paying all the cost of shipment for my package. So why using a small piece of tape would be big of a deal for your business? Shouldn't USPS provide you guys a tape?? I went here to use a USPS service, and then I get a bitchy answer from a Staples employee! Do I have to report you to USPS for giving us a lousy service? Why on the earth you should charge me $1 for a small piece of tape?? If you can't afford to give a quality costumer service to your costumers, why do you even have a USPS station in your shop? This is very heartbreaking how the quality of care and service we get these days has been plummeted, and is getting cheaper and cheaper... Avoid this shop. Go spend your money somewhere else. This Staples is closest to my house so I stepped in to pick up some chisel tipped fat colored sharpies. I found them very easily because the store is laid out according to category. I also wanted some of the newer post-it products such as the weekly calendar but I was very disappointed in their post-it selection. They didn't have much more than the everyday post-it's. Target has a much better post-it selection even! The line was fast but the employees were yelling jokes across to one another at the different registers, which wasn't very professional. I also asked if Staples has a teacher discount (I'm a strong believer that stores that sell products for classrooms should offer discounts to teachers) and was told that they have nothing like that. Janine went above and beyond to help me with printing party invitations. The type of paper I had wanted didn't work well and she recommended somethings else that worked great. Even offered cutting options, address labels. I left with everything I needed which made Staples a one stop shop. I spend about $500 to $900 a month at Stapes for the company I work for, I was pleased to see that Staples had expanded their hours a few months ago, but the customer service has gone from 4 stars to 1 star. New management at this store is not concern about customer service. To long of lines, clerks are all new and do not know how to fine products or how to print documents in the different depts. Extremely disappointed that I will have to take this business to another store. read more

I recently moved to the Fresno area but still use this location for my printing needs because I know they will do it correctly and quickly.
