I placed a custom order on line for a poster for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. The poster took longer than expected and when I went in to pick it up it did not have the easel I ordered. They explained they didn't have that and I could go back on line for a refund. I asked why nobody had called to discuss this prior to me getting there and all they could do was apologize. Then I went on line to get my refund and got a call from some snotty lady with a Nova Scotia area code who told me they don;t even offer easels and she had no idea what I was talking about. So we spent 10 minutes of me looking around their web site to find the easel I had paid for and she said "Fine, I'll refund you $3.99 for it." I went to staples today to print some papers. It was my first time going here to use the copy center and the customer service was great. Sequoia helped me out and made things easy there, and she detailed the stuff I had to do to print etc. from the computer they had. Now that Dave the manager is back at Staples I will start going back! When he left the customer service was less to be desired and I actually would drive all the way to Staples in Chino on Central. When I commented to employees at the print center about the service in Chino Hills store, they weren't surprised. They have heard it before. We took an iPhone and iPad to have the screens replaced (toddler accidents) the iPhone took a couple of days and the iPad was misplaced for over two weeks. The iPhone had to be brought back because the speaker wasn't working properly, after the repair it still wasn't functioning correctly. We took it to Apple to have it fixed in two hours. When we finally got the iPad back the date and time functions aren't working. We found out from The Apple Store associate that staples uses 3rd party parts. Staples did refund our money... Not only did I receive personal service from Celeste-since we were having problems with the copier, Celeste took my entire project and copied it for me. Completely exceeded my expectations! This is the only office supply store available within a 5 mile radius without having to hop on the freeway. I went there to find metal containers and they didn't have them there. When I was walking around looking for them, it seemed like I was walking through a stripped down version of an office supply store. They have everything you need but with less variety. read more

I mean, it's not like I expect much from here in the first place; I've been here ALOT and apart from it being almost constantly messy inside, all I've really needed is to be able to buy my usual office supplies like ink and toner, so I've never really cared that much. But, seriously? I called in to ask about their ink recycling policy, but after being on hold for over five minutes with no one even picking up the phone, THEY HUNG UP. Really. I had no clue which ink I needed for the printer and was dreading coming in but happily I was in and out in less than 5 minutes! Lauren the cashier was very friendly. I am currently standing in line at the print centre, where I've been waiting in line for more than fifteen minutes to pick up an order that I placed online. There is one person being helped, two people ahead of me, and three people waiting behind me, and the employee has not acknowledged any of us. I literally cannot imagine a worse experience to simple pick up a print order that is already paid for and was ready hours ago. If I can avoid bringing business to this place or dissuade others from shopping here, I surely will. And now I've been here for twenty minutes. read more

My daughter had a very bad experience today with the staff at the copier/print section. They were very abrupt with their answers and didn't take the time to explain the charges. What started as a 12cents per page turned out to be over a dollar per page cost for the final bill. I would never go back to this store for copy service ! read more

I want to recommend the Staples Chino Hills store if you're having a problem with your computer. I took my laptop in because I was having a problem with the taskbar not functioning and I was hoping they would be able to fix it quickly. I'm happy to say that they were able to do just that in about 1/2 hour. I highly recommend Jared, the computer technician and Sidney who also assisted in solving the problem. Copy center is the hopeless center. I came here because FedEx across the street wasn't open yet. At staples, color copier doesn't work, the machine taking in the cards for payment doesn't work. A computer work station doesn't work. The chair at the computer work station fell apart as I was pulling it out. The 2nd work station finally worked, so I printed 2 documents. Their printer was out of ink. I told the clerk that they're out of ink, and I have 2 docs pending. She said: "oh yeah,we're out of ink". ???!!! Staples out if ink?? 4 of their 6 machines didn't work!! No notice or notes!! I had to find out on my own!! Wasted 40 mins for nothing. I told the clerk there were 4 machines down. She replied "ok, I'll report them to management FOR YOU later." No care, no worries, and no clue which 4 doesn't work. Not coming back!! read more

This location was the worst experience. I was in a hurry to find printer ink and hardly anything was stocked. The line was long and the workers were all moving slow and talking to one another. I finally asked a girl "Kacey" to help me find the right ink for my Lexmark and she very rude and did not help. She gave me an attitude. Tiffany made sure to keep me updated on the status of my order and personally called me when my order was ready. My entire experience was fantastic and FAST. Would definitely order from here again. CORPORATE GREED!! I stop in Staples to have 3 each black and white copies of a 24" X 36 drawing printed. I am told to come back tomorrow morning. I asked if they could print the drawing now because I needed for work tomorrow morning and I would be glad to wait. Now mind you, there was ONE other customer there ahead of me and NO ONE behind me. Yes, they have orders to work on, however, there was not one machine running, not one machine whirring, not one machine copying anything! They were standing and talking about getting off work in 30 minutes. All the guy had to do was push a print button. That was it! And Staples' policy for me having the audacity to ask for counter customer service from their employees was to charge me a $4.00 "express fee"!!! Why should I have to pay $4.00 EXTRA because I came into their store for a service that they pronounce to offer?? It is unethical, corporate greed!!!! I have NO RESPECT for Staples any longer. If the problem was they were just too busy to run my drawing I could understand that I would have to wait until they had time. But that was NOT the case. horrible!! came in 30 minutes before the store closed, to make copies of somewhat important document, and 3 out of 3 machines are down! 1 was supposed lly working but it doesnt connect the pay machine to the copier. restarted the machine and still doesnt work. copy center rep wouldnt help us since she's "done for the day" (she could've helped by making copy on her machine but declined to do so) STAY AWAY!! Kacey, the cashier is rude. I now understand why people like to shop on-line. I do not deserve to go to Staples to get the poor service to ruin my day. I went back to the store to refund it and Kacey did not care about the return. She does not care about Staples. When you go into the store and you bring your computer there's as a courtesy to clean your computer but right away they start telling you that has viruses even though it doesn't just so they can get you to either buy their contract or have them fix it and then pay I have had it happen to me at the store a couple times so I think that's pretty bad and my computer didn't have any viruses read more

After experiencing some conflicts about business cards regarding the cutter at the Walnut location, I made the 20 minute commute here and the staff was friendly and intuitive in their explanations on templates. Although they ran out of paper on the same day delivery promise for my purchase, I had come in the next day greeted by a representative Nicole who was kind enough to give us a discount for our inconvenience. Where do I start? I rushed to this store because my printer decided to malfunction. All I needed to print was a four page document. As I entered the store I realized that I was possibly to late because the store was empty. I verified the store hours posted on the door and I confirmed that the store was still indeed open with 30 minutes to spare. As I walked up to copy center area I observed a girl in her early twenties behind the counter. I waited for her to acknowledge me but she acted as if I was invisible. Using my staring technique to get some assistance, she then had no choice but to ask me "Can I help you?" I then stated that I needed to print some documents. She said I am closed for the day and have projects on back order for the morning (In a bothered tone of voice). Mind you it was now 8:35 pm and the store is open until 9 pm. No other customer in sight yet she could not help me. She then pointed to the self service copy center and said "You can print it there" (Once again in a bothered tone). I walked over and tried to use one of the printers. Wouldn't you know, it also malfunctioning. I was now concerned that I have to ask the same irritated girl for help but I had no other choice. I called her over and she then walked up to me with hesitation. Once she arrived from 15 feet away mind you, she looked at me and stated in a sarcastic manner "You have to read the instructions on the machine". She says this while opening the tray and removed a stack of jammed paper from within. Then while holding this stack of paper, she placed it on top of the printer, pushed a button and walked away without saying a word. Great customer service, yeah right! If I knew what I was doing I wouldn't be asking. Luckily I figure it out myself after that. read more
