Now that Dave the manager is back at Staples I will start going back! When he left the customer service was less to be desired and I actually would drive all the way to Staples in Chino on Central. When I commented to employees at the print center about the service in Chino Hills store, they weren't surprised. They have heard it before. We took an iPhone and iPad to have the screens replaced (toddler accidents) the iPhone took a couple of days and the iPad was misplaced for over two weeks. The iPhone had to be brought back because the speaker wasn't working properly, after the repair it still wasn't functioning correctly. We took it to Apple to have it fixed in two hours. When we finally got the iPad back the date and time functions aren't working. We found out from The Apple Store associate that staples uses 3rd party parts. Staples did refund our money... Save yourself time and aggravation and take your apple devices to the Apple Store. It took only a couple of hours and was the same cost to repair read more

My shopping experience wasn't bad until I went to check out. I was the next one in line and the cashier had seen me waiting. Meanwhile, another associate who was helping a lady (who had no manners) walked up to the cashier and explained that she was doing a price match and told the lady to wait her turn. Everything was fine until the lady decided to just mosey her way in front of me. I told her I was already in line. She muttered something that her item was in the front already and stood in front of me. The cashier witnessed all of it and didn't say a thing. Worst experience I've ever had! I'm a server and I'm very patient when it comes to service and this was hands down the worst experience I had. My father recommended this staples because we live close by and he does a lot of business here. He's a GM and currently opened a Fit Body Boot Camp in Whittier. He's there almost 3 times a week. So of course, I go. I was there to print labels for my save the dates at the print center. I tried to do it at home because I have a printer but it kept jamming. So I walk in and wait where it says "wait here." I wait about five minutes for the lady to come and help me especially because I noticed she saw me. When she didn't come and ask if I needed help I went to where she was working and asked her to help me. She ended up telling me that they only do return address labels, which I know was ridiculous because it didn't make sense to only have return labels there. So she sent me somewhere else and I ended up asking the cashier if she knew what to do. She sent me to another lady who was working with another customer. I waited patiently. As I'm waiting I notice the bald manager to the left of me. I wait for him to offer if I need anything but he ended up walking back to the office instead of offering if I needed any assistance. Finally the associate was finished with the other costumer, I said excuse me! But she completely ignored me and walked away because helping the cashiers was more important than helping someone in the printing department. I walked out livid! I ended up driving all the way to brea staples! Where I was given excellent service! They helped me right away and instead of looking for help everywhere from multiple people for 30 min. Noah helped me right away and printed my labels within 7 minutes! I emailed him my documents, he made sure the template was correct, and then he printed them for me. How hard was that! This is the only office supply store available within a 5 mile radius without having to hop on the freeway. I went there to find metal containers and they didn't have them there. When I was walking around looking for them, it seemed like I was walking through a stripped down version of an office supply store. They have everything you need but with less variety. read more

I mean, it's not like I expect much from here in the first place; I've been here ALOT and apart from it being almost constantly messy inside, all I've really needed is to be able to buy my usual office supplies like ink and toner, so I've never really cared that much. But, seriously? I called in to ask about their ink recycling policy, but after being on hold for over five minutes with no one even picking up the phone, THEY HUNG UP. Really. Well no wonder Staples is only a 3 star. Most striking was the behavior of one co-worker "Josh" from the print counter. Another very young co-worker (seemed new) came up to counter in an effort to ask Josh a "how to question". Josh rudely said I'm not listening to you. You have to come around... directing young worker what he had to be heard. He further said he was busy "helping this lady and had to get it done". He wasnt helping me and never acknowledged i was at the counter waiting for help. i was embarrassed at the way he spoke and said to his co-worker. I continued to wait to be acknowledged. There were 3 workers behind the counter; Daisy, Josh, and one other young lady in the distance taking care of her duties as well. I finally spoke up and requested assistance and Daisey came over to assist to take fax payment. I am currently standing in line at the print centre, where I've been waiting in line for more than fifteen minutes to pick up an order that I placed online. There is one person being helped, two people ahead of me, and three people waiting behind me, and the employee has not acknowledged any of us. I literally cannot imagine a worse experience to simple pick up a print order that is already paid for and was ready hours ago. If I can avoid bringing business to this place or dissuade others from shopping here, I surely will. And now I've been here for twenty minutes. read more

I went to staples today to print some papers. It was my first time going here to use the copy center and the customer service was great. Sequoia helped me out and made things easy there, and she detailed the stuff I had to do to print etc. from the computer they had. I want to recommend the Staples Chino Hills store if you're having a problem with your computer. I took my laptop in because I was having a problem with the taskbar not functioning and I was hoping they would be able to fix it quickly. I'm happy to say that they were able to do just that in about 1/2 hour. I highly recommend Jared, the computer technician and Sidney who also assisted in solving the problem. I asked an employee for help looking for an item (online, it said they have 6 in stock)and he said, "Well, you're gonna have to look for it yourself because I'm busy..If its not on the shelf, then we don't have it or you can look at the very top shelf to see if we do",then he walked away..One word - WOW...So, if I did find what I was looking for at the very top shelf, what was I supposed to do, climb up like spiderman?? Copy center is the hopeless center. I came here because FedEx across the street wasn't open yet. At staples, color copier doesn't work, the machine taking in the cards for payment doesn't work. A computer work station doesn't work. The chair at the computer work station fell apart as I was pulling it out. The 2nd work station finally worked, so I printed 2 documents. Their printer was out of ink. I told the clerk that they're out of ink, and I have 2 docs pending. She said: "oh yeah,we're out of ink". ???!!! Staples out if ink?? 4 of their 6 machines didn't work!! No notice or notes!! I had to find out on my own!! Wasted 40 mins for nothing. I told the clerk there were 4 machines down. She replied "ok, I'll report them to management FOR YOU later." No care, no worries, and no clue which 4 doesn't work. Not coming back!! read more

This location was the worst experience. I was in a hurry to find printer ink and hardly anything was stocked. The line was long and the workers were all moving slow and talking to one another. I finally asked a girl "Kacey" to help me find the right ink for my Lexmark and she very rude and did not help. She gave me an attitude. Kacey, the cashier is rude. I now understand why people like to shop on-line. I do not deserve to go to Staples to get the poor service to ruin my day. I went back to the store to refund it and Kacey did not care about the return. She does not care about Staples. When you go into the store and you bring your computer there's as a courtesy to clean your computer but right away they start telling you that has viruses even though it doesn't just so they can get you to either buy their contract or have them fix it and then pay I have had it happen to me at the store a couple times so I think that's pretty bad and my computer didn't have any viruses read more

Call me wierd for taking time to give a report on an office supply store but every time I go in there they blow me away with their service. And the dudes are funny. Two of them just spent 15 minutes opening different cases for my iPhone so I could try them out. In the end, the one the guy said was well worth the money was by far and away the best choice. CORPORATE GREED!! I stop in Staples to have 3 each black and white copies of a 24" X 36 drawing printed. I am told to come back tomorrow morning. I asked if they could print the drawing now because I needed for work tomorrow morning and I would be glad to wait. Now mind you, there was ONE other customer there ahead of me and NO ONE behind me. Yes, they have orders to work on, however, there was not one machine running, not one machine whirring, not one machine copying anything! They were standing and talking about getting off work in 30 minutes. All the guy had to do was push a print button. That was it! And Staples' policy for me having the audacity to ask for counter customer service from their employees was to charge me a $4.00 "express fee"!!! Why should I have to pay $4.00 EXTRA because I came into their store for a service that they pronounce to offer?? It is unethical, corporate greed!!!! I have NO RESPECT for Staples any longer. If the problem was they were just too busy to run my drawing I could understand that I would have to wait until they had time. But that was NOT the case. After experiencing some conflicts about business cards regarding the cutter at the Walnut location, I made the 20 minute commute here and the staff was friendly and intuitive in their explanations on templates. Although they ran out of paper on the same day delivery promise for my purchase, I had come in the next day greeted by a representative Nicole who was kind enough to give us a discount for our inconvenience.
