Ah, yes. Another delightful excursion into the unpredictable world of human interaction--this time at a print shop. I was informed, quite confidently I might add, by a gentleman behind the counter that my order would be ready at precisely 3:30 PM. "No need to pay for rush service," he said. Splendid, I thought--efficiency without financial penalty. A rare and beautiful thing. Imagine my surprise when reality failed to align with this verbal contract. Upon returning, I spoke to the very same man, who--rather impressively--appeared to have undergone a complete memory wipe. He denied ever making such claims. Not even a hint of recognition. It was only after I painstakingly recited the conversation nearly verbatim (thank you, brain, for retaining useless yet critical data) that he began to... recalibrate his story. At this point, one must ask: is this a print shop, or an experimental facility testing the limits of customer patience and human honesty? Customer service, I've heard, involves consistency, accountability, and not rewriting history when convenient. If this gentleman is going to engage in what can only be described as conversational improvisation, perhaps customers should be issued transcripts upon entry. In conclusion: misleading information, reluctant acknowledgment, and a performance that could rival amateur theatre. Would not recommend--unless you enjoy a bit of light gaslighting with your printing services. read more

This review is mainly for the Happy Returns center and not the store itself. We mainly come to this Staples to process our Happy Returns. Many companies now use this company to manage their returns. Its pretty simple. You initiate your return with said company, they send you a QR code and all you need to do is show it to the worker they scan it. You are given a receipt and you are on your way its really that simple. You don't even need to package it up they will do that for you. They seem to get a lot of traffic for these kinds of returns too so sometimes there can be a wait. The workers have all been nice. Not much talking but its fine in a situation like this. There have been a few times where we needed to pick up a few office supplies while we are here but Amazon for sure has better pricing. Overall for Happy Returns this is a good location. read more

Very disappointed with your staff at your Cerritos location you had 4 associates near the checkout counter talking and laughing. While I was at copy and print helping an older gentleman who needed help to print. Your associate in photo desk didn't really help the customer when he asked her for assistance she seemed be bothered. So I offered to help him I was there helping the customer for 45min no one came to offered to help anyone in the area of copy and print. Which it's unbelievable they get paid to talk and laugh and not help the customers. Why would you have these type of associates working for your company without any Customer Service knowing that this type of job needs excellent Customer service and willing to help anybody that needs assistance. One of your associates had the nerve to say did he asked for help ?!?!which blew my mind!!! while you had one other Cashier laughing and you had the other Cashier giggling 4 females standing around talking and laughing is unacceptable.. She was a smart ass which got me more upset!! your manager Paulina standing in my way and say hey hey hey because I was telling her she was very unprofessional if she's the manager, she should've be teaching these associates to work and use their time wisely to actually work and help customers instead of standing around laughing and giggling. Went there today and the poor guy at the printing area was in overwhelmed The machine didn't printed the right color so I had to redo about 100 copies but then a toner made a mess and he was focusing on cleaning that rather then the clients waiting. I went to see the cashier to see if someone could help him since they where both chatting at the counter. One of them would have helped him clean so he could focus on processing the orders. Went to return an Amazon package and was in line behind this young lady waiting patiently. This man was walking around not even considering that it was a line. The lady at the counter didn't even acknowledge me nor asked if I needed help I went to go speak to the manger because she was extremely rude and her customer service was horrible. I have used this staples in the past for quick print jobs, and this was no exception. I realized my print job needed an oversized paper and I couldn't do it at home. I also had no idea how large this excel spreadsheet needed to be in order to be legible. I called and spoke to a nice person the phone. They told me what to do, and I did that. Amazon return. I don't shop at these types of places but I needed to come here to return Amazon items since it's on the way. The dude who helped me seemed annoyed packaging two little pouches of jewelry that I was returning because a label sticker he printed wouldn't stick onto the velvet pouch it came in so he had to use two big clear bags to put each item in those bags separately. He mentioned I should go to Whole Foods to return small items like these because it's a waste of a big bag to pack each small jewelry item lol. Not my fault that's all your store has for packaging and no smaller bags. Then he said next time I need to bag it myself. Like no bruh, Whole Foods is further from me than here and that is your job. It's rare I leave reviews for retail stores, but very pleasantly surprised with this location well with an employee of this establishment. Nowadays, I'm on the run and my time is limited. I was in a time crunch so went to self service print met the employee named Eddie who was considerably helpful. I couldn't print on the self service printer due to my USB files being too large to upload. So he offered me solutions and I was able to have them print it for me. Around 391 pages. I couldn't find a survey or customer satisfaction survey on the receipt so I took to Yelp. Anyway I was left with nothing but pure satisfaction with my copies and customer service. There was a new girl at the counter when i walked in, she didnt say welcome to me, but she did to the white people that came in front of me and before me. It was a bit awkward because i felt like she was looking at me as if i came in to steal or something. I came into Staples store and I said that the handle didn't work, and she told me to go to the cart section and pick out another one. It is advertised on their flyer but when I tried to go get it at the store, the paper was almost hidden at the bottom shelves of the paper aisle. The price listed was ALSO the original price not the one on sale. My roommate went to ask staff member and he was said he knew the sale price wasn't labeled. Ha! It was intentional. Then when the paper was rung up it was the sale price. We then added a coupon code for the full discount and to get the rebate form. Staff seemed to grudgingly want us to buy anything.
