Very nice staff! I asked about vegetarian options and they were able to accommodate any pastas and said any burger could be replaced with an impossible burger! Would come back here again to try the pastas and since the staff are great!

    Top of crème brûlée

Really disappointing. First off they kept my Uber Eats guy waiting around and my food was about a half hour late. There were aspects to these two items that were absolutely delicious. The sauce for the steelhead was absolutely delicious as was the seasoning but the portion was both small and seriously overcooked. The asparagus was perfect and that's great but I definitely expected alot more out of the fish especially for the price. The crème brûlée itself was delectable once you got past the giant indestructible burnt sugar top. There was an equal amount of crème brûlée to the sugar. The amount of custard compared to the jaw breaker topping was scant. I took a photo to show you what I'm talking about. I also had to go back down to the lobby of my hotel because there were not any napkins nor utensils. Pretty bummed. This was my dinner before major surgery tomorrow and I sprung for something that with a little more effort would have been lovely.

    Chimichurri steak tips.

Typically love going out to Stanford's as it's consistent and yummy. Felt a little scammed with the chimmichurri steak tips though. That's all we got!?? It was $24 for this. Very confused and unsatisfied with the portion for this amount. The spicy cowboy I got was yummy and looked reasonable for the price. Idk what happened to my partners Chimichurri steak bites but incredibly disappointed. Maybe it was a mistake, maybe that's how they portion it. Just be mindful :)

Visited Stanford's on a whim after some shopping nearby. Overall, a GREAT experience. I wish I could remember the bartender's name because she deserves a raise. (If management reads this, I visited on 06/24 at 2pm-find her!) I first ordered a "Huckleberry Raindrop," which sounded great...However, I found it overly sweet and couldn't drink it. I changed my drink order and next went with the tried-and-true Dirty Martini. WOW- easily one of the best dirty martinis I've had in the city. Perfectly chilled, just the right amount of brine, and they didn't skimp on the olives (I could have eaten like 3 more, but I decided to leave with a little dignity). Now, the Mediterranean Tavern Burger? I'm torn. Delicious either way, but the description led me to believe there would be an actual "patty." A more accurate description would be a gyro-style wrap on flatbread. Not your standard burger, but solid flavor and good execution. Upon payment I was pleased to see that I was not charged for the first drink which was not expected and greatly appreciated! Will 100% be back. Might even make it a regular thing just for that martini!

We used to have one on Tukwila and it closed years ago... we were near a north gate and stopped in. Amazing!! It was like we remembered. Comfort food made well. The service was top notch from the moment we entered. We were seated immediately, the server was kind and really helpful. The place as light, clean and comfortable. The food was great. We had Brussels sprouts and the 3 dipping sauces were so good. The crab artichoke sandwich was rich and tasty. The kruse burger was perfect, and the Mediterranean chicken light and fresh.

This is the baked potato that I was given. I complained about it being brown, and again the manager justified it. It tasted very old.

I recently got a to go order from Stanford's. I've eaten at the restaurant before and I've always had a good meal but getting it to go was one of the worst meals I've ever had. I called to complain about my brown, baked potato and rubbery green beans and asked to speak to the manage. The manager justified everything they gave us. He said the potato was cooked earlier. The green beans were cooked fresh. He did not want to listen that the food was horrible. I told the manager that I would never eat there again because he wouldn't listen to how bad the meal was. He justified everything, he told me that I can't stop coming to a restaurant just because one bad experience. I was so frustrated that I ended up hanging up on him. I will never go there again.

First timer here at this resto. Food-wise, very good and their appetizer too :) So delish nomnom. Staff were very accommodating and detailed. The place is neat and clean. Lots of parking but I think you have to pay. I think you have to pay after 3 hours , if I'm not mistaken:) would love to go back in case happen to that area.

Ordered a simple soup and salad and it was beyond amazing. First time here. Excellent service, exceptional food. Cannot wait to come back for dinner!

We came in a a party of four on Friday at noon for some lunch. I enjoyed their coffee and ambiance-they have a gorgeous bar, and they play sports on TV. I like that they are flexible with their seating options-they have a dining room, and they have a bar. We opted for the bar because it was easier for the person in our party with a walker for this particular occasion (but they would have also been fine in the dining room). We split amongst ourselves the onion rings-these were crispy and good! I couldn't decide between the Smoked Salmon Chowder and their Caesar Salad, so I ordered both! Their smoked salmon chowder has a nice smokiness to it without overpowering the salmon. Their salad was refreshing and went well with the chowder. Overall, this is a great place to dine in. They have a large menu, and it was easy for everyone in our party to find something that they enjoyed.

    Happy Hour dishes

This review is specific to the new happy hour menu. First the good: service was great, friendly and fast. The drinks were very good and a great price during HH. All the food tasted pretty great too. My issue with this happy hour was quantity/price and transparency. The listed menu prices looked great, but after getting the dishes I couldn't help but feel underwhelmed by the amount of food received. 2 chicken tenders for $10. 3 bites of ahi for $10. 6 stuffed mushrooms for $8 (we already ate 2 before the pic). And honestly, if the menu just stated the quantity of food for each dish, I probably would've felt fine with it. But it was the disappointment of expecting to get a good deal when it really wasn't. I understand eating out here is very pricey, I guess my expectations were too high. But more transparency in the HH menu would've been appreciated.

I was there to redeem my free birthday meal. It was Halloween night. The staff at the front desk were festive and engaging. I had already previewed the meals online ahead of time. But when I arrived and was seated I was presented with the "Specials" menu, which was the new "Fall Specials." I delighted by the offerings and chose the burger. I have to say, putting an angus burger on a pretzel bun was a great idea. I've never seen anyone put a burger on a pretzel bun before. Very tasty, and the bun holds up well!! It didn't come back as medium, so next time I'll need to order medium rare, but it was still VERY TASTY... so it definitely wasn't overcooked. And since I'm allergic to bleu cheese, they allowed me to exchange it to goat cheese! All of the other items on it were exceptionally tasty and complimented each other. The waiter was attentive, yet a bit quick. One of the other staff that was originally at the front desk and appeared to deliver meals and bus tables was willing to stop by occasionally, which was sweet! I also received a free crème brûlée as birthday dessert to take home. I'm looking forward to coming back tomorrow to get the Fall Special of the Pear Bread Pudding. I was too stuffed to get it tonight. Well done!!!

I hate when I take things for granted, but I have to admit I take Stanford's for granted. It's like always expecting that a friend is going to be there. There's a feeling of security and comfort in just knowing whenever you feel like it, you can go see them. That's Stanford's. When I want a good meal and a decent cocktail, I go to Stanford's. It's tried and true, reliable, and there whenever I feel like it. Stanford's has been one of those places in the Northgate area that have managed to stand the test of time and so many changes in the landscape. I love that I can go in there for the good old Americana fare and no matter what I get, I'm going to be satisfied with it. If I go in for some bar bites and cocktails during happy hour or take a full meal of the delicious pork chop, I'm happy with it. They have outdoor seating, bar area seating, or a full dining room, so an elevated dinner or casual meet up is your choice.

It is somewhat difficult to get a reservation, because the space here is very small and packed with tables. The one downside is that it is a little tight and can be difficult to hear. But I'll take that for the opportunity to eat here. And as long as you go in with the mindset that you might drop some serious coin on the meal, you're gonna have a phenomenal time. Because we were so close to our dining neighbors, I was actually able to ask them what they were eating since it looked so good. And that's how we ended up with some mind blowing fritters. A perfect appetizer to start the night. They have a great selection of wines that are actually reasonably priced to buy by the bottle. I'm pretty sure I saw someone taking one home that they drank a few bottles out of also, which is a first. I was impressed by the creativity of the dishes as well. I'm not one to be impressed by cabbage, or ever order it, but the charred cabbage looked enticing. The cheese on the bottom, seasoning, and dates transformed this ordinary vegetable into a star. And of course you gotta see what they're doing with the seasonal veggies. I can't seem to ever cook squash the right way, but they crafted it into the ideal consistency where it was almost meaty. That New York Strip was out of this world though... the garlic sauce that accompanied it was just enough of a flavor enhancer that it didn't take away from a steak that was cooked to the ideal temp. I'll be back for more!!

starting off, i was pleasantly surprised by the portion of sourdough bread given prior to the meal…read more- as I wasn't expecting that the bread wasn't anything special - but i did like the outside; found it to be pretty crispy. also, i liked the fact that they gave you butter as a dip, although it wasn't easy to spread it on the sourdough as it was just one big block i thought the main part of this dish, the salmon sliders, were quite good, however this came in three separate 'sliders', each with a base of rosemary bread, a sliced tomato, and a portion of salmon, topped with pesto the actual salmon itself was ok - personally i thought it was a bit stringy and chewy, but otherwise not bad. being brushed with oil certainly helped with the taste however, the other aspects of the slider were fantastic normally, i don't like tomatoes, but it fit really well with this dish. the flavor was there but not overpowering i also quite liked the pesto as a condiment - there was a solid amount on there - and it added a nutty texture that was good the best part of these sliders, however, was the rosemary bread. this was exquisitely good - it was crispy, herby, buttery, and served as an incredible base for the sandwich as a whole. i absolutely loved every bite of this the other thing that was a great touch was placing the sliders on the bottom of the bread rather than the 'more fluffy' side. this ensured that the bread wouldn't get soggy from the tomato/salmon and had it retain its crunchiness to the maximum three sliders was also a pretty good portion size another thing i enjoyed was the salad. a lot of places think that lots of dressing, often oil, is necessary to make a good salad, but this place managed to deliver something that tasted really good and had nice flavor with the use of little to no dressing. i'm impressed at the end of my meal, i got a carrot cake from the dessert menu this was decently sized, and the cream cheese frosting on this had a wonderful flavor i didn't taste the carrot as much in the inside of the cake, but i could tell it was still baked well, and the frosting added a great touch i would say its more of a cupcake than a cake, however i came during happy hour, so for the price of about $14, the sourdough bread + the salmon sliders were a pretty good value i can't say the same for the carrot cake - as while it was good - about 9 dollars is a little too expensive for that

One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. I found even the vegetable medley to be pretty heavy which surprised me, this was a big disappointment to me, it didn't give me the contrast to the streaks and other heavy things that I wanted. The sauce wasn't strong and overall I didn't like it at all. The steaks overall were pretty good except we got one that was really uneven and it honestly brought the whole experience down. I had two different bites of the same steak and it went from amazing bite to so bad. The service was very very nice and they even gave a free ice cream scoop since we were celebrating my bday. Overall this could really be a 4 but the misses were too large and tampered the experience.
