Good food, especially the tomato basil soup. Good &, plenty of, drinks. We ate in the bar, the service was great (as always).

Always amazing! Our go to for a great meal and night out! Tacoma location closed 2 years ago and we don't ever hesitate to make the drive up to the Northgate location. read more

I recently went to Stanford's with a large group. Some of the reviews were not good, but the service was great and we had good meals overall. The drink menu is solid. They have decent wine selection. The most liked cocktail was the lavender cosmo (really good flavor). As far as the non-alcoholic drinks, the grapefruit ginger rosemary refresher was a big hit, then the lavender lemonade was described as an extreme mix of sweet and sour. For appetizers, I had the smoked salmon chowder. It was good, but I think my preference would be regular salmon chowder. Someone ordered the "iconic cheese bread." It was good, but general sentiment was that more cheese would have made it better. The ahi tuna poke seemed like the biggest hit--with a really great presentation. For most of the main courses, you get to choose two sides. I had the 12 oz Prime rib medium rare with onion rings and Brussel sprouts. The prime rib was excellent, the quality of the meat was high and it was cooked perfectly. I also loved the onion rings, although a couple more would be good (they seem to include more with the New York steak). Other dishes that people liked were the fish special (steelhead), ribs, and the Caesar salad entree. The chicken tenders were not liked so much. The meals are a good size, so none of us had room for dessert. We were all pretty pleased. read more

Lunch was very good. The fries that came with the chicken sandwich were perfectly done...soft on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside. But the highlight was the Enjoy at Home herb chicken. Packed in an airtight container, put in oven for 15 minutes to warm and the meal was fantastic!! Going back on Sunday for the ribs!! read more

For the price, this place was amazing! My husband and I started with a half order of the cheese breach and the house salad and both were delicious and came out at reasonable times. The steak we got the bone in rib eye and WOW! It was delicious! Flavorful and cooked perfectly medium rare like we asked. We have paid way more for steak that wasn't as good as this one. The mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese was yummy too! Our waitress was nice, attentive and we got seated quickly. Definitely a place we will go back to. read more

This is my go to place for lunch. I try to meet all my friends for lunch here because it's easy access on and off the freeway. There's always parking available. The food is consistently good. Need I say more? read more

I like this place. But it has Elephant Bar vibes and their fate might be headed the same direction. The food is great and I especially like their flavored drinks and chowder, but it is a bit pricey. Nice and quiet, almost too quiet, and it is frequented by elders more than anything. The waiters are super nice! read more

Stopped in for my Birthday meal. I sat at the bar as it was just me. Staff is friendly yet extremely busy at lunch. It was loud and you could hear many conversations. I ordered off the fresh sheet. The fish was perfectly prepared yet lacking flavor. The asparagus had yellow ends and we all know, chewed and nit eatable. Will stick to happy hour options in the future. read more

Good food so 4.5 stars, Jordan, our server gets 5 stars. We had the spinach mushrooms and the half chicken and the grilled chicken club. Tasty food. Potatoes and chicken we're a little dry on the half chicken plate. The chicken club had a couple weird portions of the thing breast on the sandwich. Our server, Jordan was on point but not overly so. Awesome and friendly. read more

It was great! Thank you! Our server put up with us and our separate checks! Food was great and drinks just right!

The food is superb. I have been to this convenient location many times and LOVED it. The Service is excellent (especially the Bartender April and Server, Nicole) and always presented well! The Restaurant is beautiful and modern! I have never been disappointed! You are greeted by friendly and helpful staff members! Worth the price! read more

Stanfords has a great Happy Hour for both drinks and food options. There are plenty of options in the menu to please a group with diverse tastes. My favorites are the Cobb Salad, Stuffed salmon options and the seasonal pumpkin ravioli. Service is great and I like having this option in the North end of Seattle. read more

Our first meal here but not our last! Plenty of parking, seated immediately, choice of a table or booth. Great service, really yummy food, and nice ambience/decor, etc. We had a beer, a Filet Mignon, prime rib dip, three sides and two desserts for $130 with tip. Very reasonable for the quality and service. read more

I used to live in Northgate and would go to their restaurant for their great Happy Hour. I was so excited when I saw that they have a food truck! I booked their truck for an event, and they were a hit! Everyone I talked to said that the food tasted delicious, the wait was not long, and the people were very friendly. The dishes were simple, yet the food seemed elevated. After the event, I took some time to speak with the staff, and they were so lovely to talk with. The food truck was so popular that they served all of the meals I asked for right before the event ended! I was so surprised (but not really because I already knew how delicious the food is. I'm so happy I booked them and I will definitely be using them for catering in the future! read more

There aren't many happy hour options available in Northgate area, but Stanford's offers a decent HH. Their HH is available Monday through Saturday from 3PM to 6PM and from 9PM to close, and all day Sunday in a bar area. There are plenty of booth tables available in the bar for the HH customers. I always order BBQ Chicken Quesadilla and Beer Battered True Cod Tacos. Their quesadilla is truly amazing! For the tacos, it used to be good for the price but not anymore as they only serve 2 tacos instead of 3 tacos. I ordered buttermilk fried chicken strips for my beer, and it was ok - somewhat similar to the frozen product you can buy from grocery. read more

My friends, and family have been dining here for about five years or so. This is my first review. The food is 5 out of 5 And through All these years this has been consistent. I was there last night with dear friends and had the Parmesan crusted fish, they had prime rib And my other friend had the loaded macaroni and cheese. We were grateful for the incredible service from the servers to the host. This is a jewel in the north end do yourself and family a favor try it! The garden outside is lush and beautiful. The inside fancy but not stuffy, the parking is accessible and free. I have never had a bad experience here read more

Not exactly sure on what planet they think it's okay to be serving literal charcoal to the customers. These are supposed to be chimichurri steak tips btw, and I had ordered them med rare. What I got appeared to have been incinerated on the surface of the sun. They charge $24 for this, by the way. read more

Service was outstanding, food was delicious, and other than the unruly kid whose parents wouldn't control him, the atmosphere was very nice.

Family ordered the prime rib $55 with fries and veggie, prime rib sandwich $24, pasta which they loved and salad. I don't need to be back as it wasn't anything special and can simply be made at home. The service was adequate and the ambiance spacious like Kahala Zippys but darker and more privates booths. Yet can try but I'm going to try others in the area. read more

This place was overpriced for the quality of food given. We ordered the chicken satay and prime rib steak - both were overcooked and flavorless. Fries also were flavorless. It took way longer than it should have to get both dinners for a place that was not packed at all. Would recommend going to Red Robin on the other side of Northgate instead of this place. +1 star for the nice waiter. Not sure how this place still exists at this location to be honest. It will be interesting to see how it does once Northgate is fully remodeled. Do not recommend. read more

We went for the Bar Happy hour menu before a movie. The food was great and reasonably priced. We will be back.
