Crab Mac and Cheese
Jody B.

Excellent service! I had the crab Mac and cheese. Excellent! Plenty of food in one serving lots of crab! They didn't skimp! Albeit the crab was cold but once mixed in it warmed up and super delicious!!! It was fun to be able to watch some hockey games going on.

Wings and fries.

Pretty neat bar at the kraken ice rink. Was here for my partners game. Decided to grab a bite and people watch before his match. Service was good, lots of people ice skating below and at one point we were watching people practice or play within their league. Decor is pretty cool, lots of pucks and sport memorabilia. Fries were crispy and the wings were okay, I ordered the Cajun flavor and that's a tad salty but it's fine when you wash it down with soda water.

It's an overpriced sports bar. The food and drinks are middle of the road mediocre and don't have any thought to making them unique. The drinks were especially low on alcohol and not worth the price. It's fun to come here when they have events watching Kraken games, but nobody is coming here for the food. The bar itself is neat though, made up of hundreds of hockey pucks from around the continent, but that's about the only plus.

Orange core, orange seed.

Service was perfect -- no critiques! What I ordered: beet salad & beef sliders. *Beet Salad WAY bigger than expected! I can't say I'm too surprised tho since it's probably considered an entree salad. The combination of ingredients works well together -- I just feel the ratio was off; way too many beets in my opinion, but I'm sure someone who's more passionate about them would think the amount was perfect, (I know someone who'll LOVE the leftovers I bring home)! The salad itself felt a little "underdressed"; I think if they tossed the arugula in a citrusy, or fruity vinaigrette before putting everything else on top -- it'd really bring it all together. (You might be able to ask for some on the side if they have it)! My only "complaint" would be in prepping the orange pieces; I was able to find one seed along with the "core" (the part of the orange that holds all the segments together) still attached to one piece, so I was able to cut it off, but there was also a seed in another piece that I didn't see/find before I ate it. It's not the end of the world, but a simple thing they could be a little more diligent with in the food prep process. (: *Sliders Simple & decent. I would've liked to have seen a liiittle more cheese representation on the patties, and maybe 1.5-2x the amount of grilled onions. I ate the sliders (upside down) open faced, so it would've been nice if the secret sauce was spread across the top bun rather than on top of the cheese & onions, and under the pickle. This is all just ME being particular tho; I'm sure if I was a normal person who eats things as is -- I'd have no "complaints", but this isn't even a complaint! (:

I had to wait out a doctor's appointment for my wife nearby so I stopped here for the first time. Ironically it was to watch the start of the Super Bowl in an NHL themed bar. I sat at the bar, had a Coors Light and found they had a Super Bowl special with 12 wings and a draft beer for $18.95. Of course I had to try that. I had the 12 wings with Maple Siracha flavoring along with another Coors Light. The food came out fairly quickly and was served with the traditional carrots and celery sticks and blue cheese. The wings weren't as flavorful as I thought they should be. I didn't taste any real siracha heat and certainly no maple flavor. But they were otherwise cooked just right and was an ample amount for one person. Overall for my first time here, I was pretty impressed with the decor and layout of the bar and grill. There are plenty of windows on the side facing the ice rinks below and a private dining area in the back. There is a lot of seating throughout and plenty of TV's and a plethora of Seattle historical and current hockey memorabilia. I like the vibe here. Now I need to return to watch a Kraken away game!!

What a neat find! Random Wednesday on break and felt like lunch so we stopped here. There was a community ice skating session that was fun to watch while we waited for our food. Waiter was nice, nothing special but was efficient and accurate. We asked him some questions about the rinks and he was knowledgeable. The food was good! My sandwich was on crusty bread and filled. The husband enjoyed his and we enjoyed the crispy sprouts, even if they aren't terribly crispy. The vibe was a hockey sports bar. Lots of televisions with sports in, lots of hockey memorabilia and signed jerseys. We learned it's called 32 because the Kraken are the 32nd team!

Bar/restaurant in Kraken training complex The staff was amazing! Our waiter Riley was friendly; attentive and dutiful. 5 out of 5 The bartender was also super nice 5/5 The lighting was helpfully bright and easily could see menu. The music was subdued so could hear and be heard. 5/5 I got the wings and they were perfectly cooked and spiced; they were delicious albeit puny in size. Served with plentiful carrots and celery. 4/5 The nachos were perfect, just the right amount of chips to cheese and chips to chicken! Would have liked some jalapeños and sour cream. 4/5 I sampled the club and the bread was crisp, helping of Turkey was generous and bacon crisp and tasty. 5/5 Sampled fries and they were crispy and toothsome. 5/5 I'd come here again no questions asked!

Super cool spot right at the Kraken's practice facility. With views overlooking the hockey rink, it's a great place to grab a bite and enjoy the ambiance. I can only imagine what the vibes are like during a game. I got the fish and chips and I thought it was alright. The fish had way too much batter in my opinion. At first glance, they look huge but after you take a bite, you can see how much batter they used. The fries and slaw were good, no complaints there. In all, this is a cool place to grab a bite/drink. It might be worth checking out during a Mariners game or when the Kraken play an away game.

Located on the 2nd floor of the Kraken Community Center on the northwest end of the building. My visits were during a 3-day hockey tournament, so my experience may be slightly different than the norm. The decor within 32 Bar & Grill is incredible, packed with tons of hockey and Kraken inspired wall and ceiling coverings. The bar is well equipped with what seems like miles of liquor as well as two draft towers with eight beers on draft! I'd say this place is well stocked! The 32 Bar & Grill was packed every night, and day, during the tournament with almost all seats in the house taken, so finding a seat was pretty tough. Unfortunately, for the majority of the tournament the bar wasn't prepared for the drinking crowd. The crowd was fighting tooth and nail to get a drink from the bar. At one time, with no one sitting at the bar, I grabbed a seat hoping to grab a pint before the next game. The bartender told me he wouldn't be able to get to me because of the queue in the well. It wasn't the end of the world but it was a bit disappointing. I will say though, once you got a table, the servers did a great job! They all were very attentive even thought they were outnumbered. Oh ya, alcohol isn't allowed outside 32 Bar & Gril, so you can't take it down by the ice to watch the games, gotta drink it in the bar. Oh well. Overall the venue's got a great atmosphere overlooking two sheets of ice, one being the Kraken practice sheet, and good food.

Monday is a busy day as it is ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR and there are real happy hour savings here. How about a cheeseburger with a generous side of fries for $8.95????? The fries were great, hot and crispy, with sides of ketchup and spicy ranch. The burger was real and honest, two of my highest compliments for a cheeseburger. Made to order exactly right. Bun was toasted and smeared with aioli and had a nice crisp. Solid toppings of lettuce, two slices of tomatoes, red onion, and several pickle chips. These were presented on the side so I could dress the burger as I liked. The whole thing was delicious. I had a well gin and tonic at the HH price of $8.95. Overall, a very good meal and a great deal. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, the busy bartender acknowledged me as soon as I sat down, and I was immediately drawn into conversation by the regulars on either side of me. As I often eat out solo, I'm used to striking up conversations with strangers, but I didn't have to make much effort here. Fun company! Solo eaters are welcome. I'll be back and I definitely recommend!

We had a boat ride and dinner at Elliot's later so I didn't want to eat too much. I got the fish sandwich with tater tots and my honey got the steak sandwich and tots. Tots were nice and crispy. There were close to well done which I like. My fish sandwich was good. It was fried fish with coleslaw an tarter sauce on it. I got extra tarter on the side because I like tarter sauce. The bun also contributed to how good the sandwich was. It was like a brioche bun and it was soft in all the right places. I didn't try the steak sandwich but I was told it was really good. Nice place to watch a game, have a drink and eat some good food.

By the time we had dinner, although hungry, it was past 8 and we needed to eat a little lighter and mostly had apps, so not sure how light that meal really was. Everyone enjoyed their dish. Because it was a bit cold, my younger sister got the fried chicken ramen. Fried chicken was not chicken katsu but fried chicken. The chicken was a bit salty while the ramen had a good amount of spice to it. Ramen broth was really good, especially on a cold night for me being from Hawaii. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the cheese perogies. I enjoy perogies and haven't had any while on this trip to Seattle so a bit of a bummer. It was more like cheese ravioli. However best part of dinner was having the family together. And we ended the night on a good note. And the staff, so sweet. We appreciate you all for accommodating our family. These are the best cheese curds ever bc the batter isn't heavy like other cheese curds I've had. It's tempura battered so it's light and you can taste the cheese more. The jalapeño strawberry dip and ranch are good dips, but try them together and it will blow your mind. The fried green beans were okay. They did have a heavier batter on them and I wish they had the same batter the cheese curds had. The spicy dip was good! The rosemary popcorn was delicious! It had just enough butter and the perfect amount of rosemary where it's not overpowering. Once you get to the bottom, there's tons of butter and you just dip and soak it up with the popcorn. We stopped in for dinner before a concert at Kenyon Hall, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and happily answered all of our questions. The only thing they didn't have was an espresso martini. No big deal! Honestly, one of my favorite parts of dining out is listening to my wife explain how to make one while watching the puzzled expressions on the waitstaff or bartender's faces. It always provides a little entertainment before dinner. My wife ordered the lettuce-wrapped Smash Burger. It was good and flavorful, though not quite in the same league as a Five Guys' version, which is easier to hold in your hand, the only reason for a 4 instead of 5-star review. I went with the Classic Burger with cheese and fries, and it hit the spot. The burger featured a nicely toasted bun with a buttery, crispy crunch, and the toppings were perfectly balanced for my taste. The real star of the meal, however, was the fries. They were fantastic--crispy, hot, and absolutely worth the extra dollar for their "Bridge Sauce," a seasoned fry sauce that paired perfectly with them. The restaurant and restrooms were both clean and well-maintained, something we always appreciate. Throughout our meal, the staff checked on us just the right amount, making sure our water glasses stayed full and that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, The Bridge delivered a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, solid burgers, and excellent service. The next time we're in West Seattle, we'll definitely be returning.

I made a reservation ahead of time, but when we got there around 8 pm we realized we probably didn't need one because it was seat yourself and still pretty open. No complaints though, it made it easy to grab a table and settle in. The vibe was cool. Definitely a sports bar feel with TVs around, and as the night went on the DJ started getting set up which I can imagine makes it a fun spot on a Friday night for people meeting up after work or hanging out with friends. We decided to share a few things so we could try a little bit of everything. We ordered the catfish bites, lemon pepper wings, garlic parmesan wings, and macaroni and cheese. I'll start with the positives because the service was great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. Food-wise, it just didn't totally hit for me. The catfish bites had a really tasty batter, but the texture threw me off a little. I personally like my catfish cooked a little harder, and these were a bit soft for my liking. The lemon pepper wings were a little too salty for me, and the wings themselves weren't cooked quite the way I like them. I tend to like my wings cooked a little harder, so these felt a bit soft and bulky to me (if that makes sense). The garlic parmesan wings were okay flavor-wise, but still similar in texture. The macaroni and cheese was okay. Nothing bad, just pretty standard. The menu itself has a good mix of comfort food and bar favorites like chicken and waffles, shrimp & grits, burger & fries....so there are definitely options to try. Overall, the service were great, the vibe was cool and I can definitely see this being a fun spot once the DJ gets going and the place fills up. The food just didn't quite land for me personally this time. I gave it 3 stars, but if Yelp allowed half stars it would probably be closer to a 3.5 for me. I'd still be open to coming back and trying a few other things on the menu.
