One of my favorite Spring/Summer spots. Delicious bites, good beers, and good sauces! The tomato and garlic aioli dips are both yummy. Nothing beats sitting by the waterfront along with large portions and good prices. It also gets really packed when it's nice out! P.S. We've eaten some of the onion rings already before taking the photo.
Beautiful waterfront site to enjoy some tasty beers. The setting was perfect on an unexpectedly warm March day, and drinking our beers outside overlooking the beautiful bay waters was a nice change (we had flown in from Maine). I especially enjoyed the undertow dark lager. Our favorite meal was the portobello mushroom sandwich - full of flavor. My seafood taco was meh - needed lots of spice and some slaw. The onion rings were fresh and hot, but the breading was so thick that they were not particularly delicious- my son said they were really onion hush puppies - just too heavy...onion rings should be very lightly breaded so that the onion is the star of the dish. The fries were fresh and garlicky but not crispy enough.
Great place to hangout on a cold rainy day. There are good seating options outside under a large tent and several cubicles. We ended up sitting inside to enjoy the ambiance there. When we arrived we were treated to a few samples to narrow down our drinking choices. I appreciate that and the bar tender provided good advice on the selection. I stuck with Ride the Tide IPA, others had a milkshake, Fruit Peddler GF sour, with no complaints. They have a full food menu which is preferred over food truck scenarios. We shared crispy brussel sprouts then went on to have a fish and chips, classic burger, and portobello mushroom burger and garlic fries. All were good. I'd definitely get the fish and chips again, and the mushroom burger looked delicious with a legit amount of mozzarella cheese oozing out around the edges. It looked great, but I didn't taste it. Definitely recommend!
I really want to like this place more than I do. The positives: it's close to the waterfront at Magnuson, so if you're boating or swimming, it's a convenient place to come to before or after. We, in particular, put our kayaks in at Matthews Beach (or elsewhere), and paddle to Magnuson, making it our midpoint. The place has great options for seating, both at tables or barrier seats in a covered area as well as fairly exposed benches. Wait staff tend to be helpful and attentive, although sometimes you might have to flag someone down (it gets really busy). The beer selection is also reasonable, although on busy weekends, you might see them run out of particular varieties. The minuses: frankly, the food is meh. This last visit, we ordered the Portobello Mushroom Burger and the Black Bean Burger (both vegetarian). My girlfriend enjoyed the former, although she wasn't super enthusiastic about it. I found the black bean burger to be fairly mushy and tasteless. It also looks like it may have fallen apart on the grill, and was kind of slapped back together again. I didn't finish it. Fries are hit or miss here. Sometimes, you'll get fries that are cooked appropriately, still somewhat soft. Other times, you'll get a tray of well-cooked fries, with tons of crispy bits (with some grease to spare). Another time, I ordered their BLT, which is served on a kind of Texas Toast. I enjoyed this more than the Black Bean Burger, but still, I've had much better BLT sandwiches. All in all, we'll continue to stop here, just because of the proximity of the water and how close it is to my house. But I wish the food were better.
A good place to stop by if you're in magnuson park. The outdoor seating faces the water and I bet it'd be a great place to enjoy a sunset. It's a super standard burgers and salad place and I wanted something healthier so got the kale apple salad. The menu advertises an option to add fried chicken but I asked if I could get the chicken grilled instead and it wasn't a problem at all. Flavorful salad and felt pretty full finishing it.
This is my favorite cafe in Seattle! I am a frequent customer here because it's in a great location, near a park, and it's in a charming neighborhood! Two of my favorite dishes here are the breakfast sandwich and the crumble cake! The people working there are always so nice and welcoming! 10/10
Magnuson Cafe and Brewery for me, is a drink and enjoy the view type of place. I will never eat here again. Both times, my food has been gross. How do you mess up French fries? Ask this place. The garlic fries were extremely greasy, but they should be with the way they are prepared. The kitchen here is open so you can see a little of what goes on in there. To achieve the garlic flavor, the chef pours garlic oil on fries that just came out of oil. The fries are then adorned with whole pieces of roasted garlic. Putting oil on top of oil made for oil soaked fries. I know this is not a health-forward restaurant, but that amount of oil is ridiculous anywhere. The second time I came here, I had the fish and chips. Another mistake. The dish looked appealing when it came out, but after I took one bite of the fish, I decided to investigate what I was eating. The piece of fish is a facade. When you pull back the thick layer of breading, a very thin layer of cod is revealed. Most of what you are eating is a thick, sturdy coating of greasy breading and very little actual fish. They are cutting corners and cost with this dish. The coleslaw was also old, as I could see that it was turning brown and looked beige. For what they charge here for food, you would think that you are getting something better than that. Service is hit or miss. One time I came, the gal that helped me was rude and had no customer service skills. The second time I came, that gal was very nice and professional. This spot has a great location with beautiful sweeping views of Lake Washington, so this is a great place to drink and take a load off, but I suggest that you eat somewhere else.
We didn't necessarily have a bad time here, but it wasn't great either. Came in on a Saturday night and since there was a private party on the covered patio, the rest of the patrons had the choice of being crammed into a small area inside or sitting in the wind and drizzle. We were lucky enough to find a table inside, but had to bus it ourselves before sitting down. I think maybe they were just short handed. The food we got wasn't terrible, but I'm not sure if I'd ever order it again. Burger was small and pretty dry, fish tacos were just okay and not very flavorful, and our side of tots was almost laughably small. With all that said, the beer was decent and I could see the appeal of sipping on a brew here while looking over the water on a nicer weather day. Might give this place another shot in the future, but the overall experience wasn't super memorable. The screaming children running around as their parents drank and didn't pay attention to them a table over probably didn't help much either.
Came because you get great water views. Most of the seating is outside, so plan ahead for the weather. For drinks we had the Post Coastal IPA and a Sundrop IPA. For food, we had the Kid's Chicken Bites which were a little dry and bland, but the Classic Burger was delicious. Their service was good overall. It can be confusing when ordering because there is a hostess stand and a cashier stand; didn't know you can order at both. There is no sign to the restrooms. When you're outside. Go through the white door that's not labeled.
Stopped here about 2:30 in the afternoon on a sunny 45 degree day and everything was fantastic. Ordered the classic burger and a hazy pale ale. The burger is the perfect size (4-5in diameter) and the patty is juicy (formed by hand?). No frills, just a good solid juicy burger. The beer is crisp with a variance of citrus hops. There was little wait after order to receive my food, and the staff was pleasant. Seating on the patio overlooking the lake is hard to beat! The prices are fare. This is a hidden gem and I will be a regular.
My favorite breakfast fare consists of fried chicken, biscuits and gravy. So upon discovering this was an option at Magneson, my husband and I decided to ride our bikes down to give it a try! It is a very relaxed (but elevated) fast food vibe. Not sure if table service is not available for just the breakfast meal, or the new normal for all dining at the cafe. It makes for an expedited experience, which I can appreciate! They also serve mimosas and beer if you're up for a good buzz early in the morning! The only thing missing from my breakfast, hash browns. They do offer breakfast potatoes (kinda like a Mexi-fry or home fry). I did try them once but didn't care for them. Not a deal breaker because the chicken and biscuits are delicious, and the eggs are cooked to perfection! If you're looking for a quick (tasty) breakfast why not give Magneson Cafe a shot. Also, who doesn't enjoy breakfast with a view?!
Perfect place to stop by after the dog park at magnuson! We came with a big group with 5 dogs and we were able to find seating right away to the side of the brewery. We went on a very sunny day and it was PACKED and the lines to food and drinks were veryyyy long and took about 30-45 mins to get our food. Pro tip: order online on your way from dog park and pick up at the front and grab seats! Food wasn't anything too special but very fair price (I believe a cheese burger was only $6?) & the place had some great views of the water.
Parking, food and beer. And of course a great view of Lake Washington. Service - 5 starts Food - 3.5 got the burger and fried chicken sandwich but forgot to take pics. It was just ok but price was under $10 each. It's was a beautiful day and if this place wasn't a bit out of the way for us, we'd come more often. read more

There's so many problems with this place. It was a really busy environment because of a festival next door. There's a ton of workers around but they're busy doing things that other breweries have figured out how to manage. Example: the workers carry dirty glassware instead of telling people to bus their own table. It took about 20 minutes just to order a beer because of the inefficiency. On top of that the loaded tots that I ordered looked like the cook just carelessly threw the toppings on. It's not horrible but I'm never going back read more
Food: fish tacos and chicken sandwiches were very solid. The Brussels sprouts with the bacon jam were the best, and the battered cauliflower as well. The bacon jam was so delicious! The beef tacos were ok...not as good as the fish tacos in my opinion. Someone mentioned the beef tacos were like school lunch meat and I can see why they said that. I think it's just the texture though and not so much flavor. Service: I wish they had more umbrellas for all the tables because it was a surprisingly sunny day for an outdoor party. Probably about 50% of the tables had umbrellas. Thankfully they had us well stocked with drinks and water. For a party they had the reserved tables set aside. The outdoor area was reserved. I don't know what it is but I really love coming here on a nice day. They have a nice large patio with a bit of a view. It's located in a big parking lot in three sand point magnuson area. Very kid friendly and dog friendly. They have a selection of beers on tap as well as some wine and cider. The mimosa I got was $9. The food is pretty good but nothing that really stands out. The loaded tots are a popular choice. Burgers dont come with any sides so take that into consideration when ordering. The bathroom is located in a separate area but a very close walk read more
a cute place to grab food and drinks! the views here are incredible and they have some great guilty pleasure foods! that being said, i do think some of their food is a bit oily for my liking. this is a great place to go with friends to eat and chat and then walk around afterwards! read more
We dropped into Magnuson Cafe & Brewery to pick up drinks and decided to order a biscuit to try out their food. The honey liked the coffee, but my soda tasted like it came out of a liter bottle that had been sitting, very flat. By far the biggest reason this is 2 stars is that a plain biscuit took at least 15 minutes to come out. It was't a freshly made biscuit from the oven, but much more like bread that obviously came out of a plastic bag put in a toaster. Although the jam served with it was good, in no world should something so basic take so long. The view was pretty, but the white chair covers were gray from dirt, and it just felt like the most basic of food upcharged and heated up. While the service was friendly, I don't see us coming back here. read more

Awesome brewpub with excellent waterfront, dog-friendly outdoor dining. Very chill and relaxing. The guy handling orders at the counter and the bartender were both very friendly. Beers and food were served quickly. The West Coast Pilsner was fantastic! Perfect amount of hops and sweetness. It was super refreshing for a warm afternoon. Could drink them all day long. The beer batter used for the onion rings and fish was delicious. It was thick and fluffy almost like funnel cake or pancake and had a great mix of seasoning. The fish was moist and well cooked. The pineapple slaw provided a fresh, crunchy compliment to the fish. The sauces were all awesome too! read more
Delicious breakfast! I tried the Breakfast Bowl which featured a nice blend of well-seasoned scrambled eggs, salsa, avocado, sausage and sour cream. My only qualm was that there was only a singular sausage patty (for an additional charge) and that it didn't come pre-sliced. Without a provided knife, this made eating a little more awkward. This cafe is right by the water with plenty of outdoor dining options included heated enclosures. It was a gloomy, rainy day but on a nice sunny morning this would be the ideal venue for breakfast. read more
It was a nice place to eat with the water view. There are plenty of seats outside and inside. I ordered a classic burger and share 3 tacos with a friend. The classic burger came with Pickles, lettuces, and Tomato. The sauce was water down thousand's Island. The patty cook medium, it was perfect. The buns hold up and did not fall apart. It was on small scale compare to other places. Taco was ok. I would not order again. But other people like the tacos. Not sure what to say about the service since you ordered at the counter, but they seems friendly. read more

Excellent spot to grab a bite and beverage right next to the water. Loads of sunshine on my visit with a fun vibe on the patio. Shade was a premium but, no complaints from me as I love the sun! Service at the counter was super friendly and attentive despite the long line behind me. I ordered the cauliflower poppers. Cauliflower pieces battered in a thick tempura batter and friend to perfection. Alongside was a yummy creamy dipping sauce. Loads of parking here as the lot is also for people renting kayaks. What a great time. The food menu was fairly affordable too and had loads of salads, burgers and other appetizers. Cheers, SYOY. read more
Great environment! We ate hear for multiple meals during a fiber festival in Seattle last summer and never got bored of the options. Great location, beautiful views, great beer and cider options, and yummy food. Highly recommend. read more

The location and view is wonderful and so is the beer. But the food has gotten to be terrible. It was good once. Fried chicken Cobb salad, was really mediocre at best. Bacon was not crispy, found a tiny piece of soggy avocado, 3 kernels of roasted corn, no blue cheese crumbles and the worst of all was the beer batter chicken of 4 tiny pieces. Dressing was also tasteless. Fried chicken was a thin layer of greasy battered chicken (it used to be an large piece crispy chicken thigh). Can barely find the lettuce and no pickles. Onion ring was okay.. the smoked tomato aioli sauce was great! Total cost of the meal was $58. Will not come back here for food. But Beer and a view! read more

I have to admit, the location of this place threw me off a bit while driving here because I think expect to be next to small port and "beach" area. Place was fairly busy. It had plenty of parking and outdoor/indoor open seating. Line forms and moves fast for ordering at the cashier. You pretty much order at the counter, take a number, head to the bar to grab any drink orders, then just find an open table for you and your party and someone should be over with your order when ready. Fairly straight forward process. Not sure how they find the order number so easily though. Definitely try not to block it from view to make things easier. I ordered a Cold Stone Hazy IPA and the Double Bacon Cheese Burger with an egg over easy added to it. I was pretty hungry since I didn't eat much all day. So I devoured it pretty fast. I also got an order of Garlic Fries too. They could be crispier to be honest, but I do appreciate they use whole cloves of garlic to season it. I don't see that too often since most places have them crushed or diced. The outdoor seating is nice cause you can get a view of the water a bit. You'll mostly just see the parking lot out front, but if you like people watching, it's a solid view for that. Food was good, nothing to rave about though. Solid burger and solid beer and decent view guess. It's a nice lunch spot with friends I would say for food or chilling. read more

I don't think so. Right next to the brewery is Sail Sand Point. They say on their website that their boat yard, "is only for hand launch-able, human or sail powered boats." If you have one they have a boat yard access request link so it seems like…
