    Undercooked bacon
    Cristin G.

Servers were super friendly and the coffee kept coming! The eggs over easy looked gorgeous and were tasty, and potatoes O'Brien a nice touch. Pancakes were great (one was too big for me) and the cinnamon bun was small and yet perfect to split - very tasty. The servers were all in Hawaiian shirts and it made for a cheery atmosphere - there's a Hawaiian menu addition right now. Super cute. I removed a star because one plate came out with bacon that was very undercooked. It was fine for the other two plates. The server took it off the bill, not at all an issue, but still shouldn't miss that. Bacon and eggs are #1 here!

    Biscuits and gravy

My group of 6 went out to eat here for brunch on a Sunday. We didn't make a reservation so we waited about 15 mins for a table. I get biscuits and gravy often when I get breakfast/brunch so I opted to get it here as well. It was okay, nothing special about the biscuits and the gravy wasn't that flavorful. I enjoyed the potatoes, but overall it didn't stand out to me. The restaurant was nice and the service was friendly. There is also only street parking for this location. If I were to come again I'd definitely try something else.

    Avocado toast

The food came 55 minutes after being ordered and was cold while the restaurant was mostly empty. I ordered avocado toast and the bread wasn't toasted, the Avocado tasted like it was fermented and very very sour. It wasn't the waitstaff's fault. They were very attentive about refilling coffee.

Finally got to visit this new to the neighborhood breakfast place. We used to go to the Northgate place but they've closed there. This new location is clean, roomy and has more light than Northgate location. I had the smoked pork breakfast and my wife had her usual 1 egg bfast. I was a little surprised by the smoked pork which was a thick sliced of pork belly braised in adobo sauce. Not really smoked but tasty nonetheless. Service was alright. We were there early so only one server up front although she was talking in the back for a little while before coming out. Maybe a bell or something to notify staff of new customers.

    Hawaiian Ono Grill (brunch)

My boyfriend and I were excited to check out this new brunch spot that opened up near UVillage while we were getting our oil changed at Grease Monkey. Located on 25th Ave near UVillage, they offer some parking in the back, but I mostly saw street parking outside. When we walked in we noticed how large the restaurant was. They have plenty of tables available and it definitely gave off a cozy diner vibe. Something that disappointed us about this experience was the service. When we got there, it took about 15-20 minutes before anyone helped us out/took our order. After that, it took an additional 45 minutes before our food came out. Whenever we did have the chance to talk to a server they were very sweet and welcoming, but it was disappointing how we were mostly neglected aside from our few interactions with them. In terms of food, we ordered the Hawaiian Ono grill for lunch and shared it between the two of us. It came with a hashbrown, spam, various sausages, bacon, sweet rolls, and three eggs that we got sunny side up. The portion sizes were huge so it definitely left both of us feeling full. The sausages were very flavorful and juicy, and I loved the added grilled pineapple on top. I will say there was very little about the dish that made it feel Hawaiian aside from the pineapple, but it's probably just because of what we ordered. The hashbrowns were good, however, it was extremely buttery so it depends on whether or not you like that. The dish overall was very heavy and greasy so I'm not sure whether I would get that one again. Overall, I'm sad to say I probably will not be trying this spot out again any time soon. I wish them the best of luck though with their new opening!

What a secret gem of a place! Just tucked in from a bustling Denny street!…read more We started out with some cappuccino and iced latte, and they were lovely. They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged. I highly recommend trying it out at least once. All in all, highly recommend! Please go try Tilikum Place Cafe!

The baked eggs, however, were just okay - nothing particularly good. The ambiance was cozy and nice, right in downtown Seattle. However, be prepared: the wait can be long, and once you're done, they'll need the table, as there's usually a line. Overall, it's worth a visit - just make a reservation and come for the Dutch babies. I was told there are seasonal Dutch babies so try again sometime in June maybe. Unfortunately, they were not offering breakfast sandwiches on the day we visited, which was a large part of their food menu. The service was fast and friendly. This place does have a bit of a fancier vibe, so we opted to order and go since our kids were with us. They do have cute little seating options inside and outside- always a perk! We just ordered a drip coffee and a pistachio cream latte. The Pistachio Cream latte was amazing, but we wished it had a tad more pistachio flavor. The drip coffee was good. I'm not usually a fan of sweet drinks, but this was beautifully crafted--not overly sweet, just a perfect balance of nutty, toasty, and slightly sweet flavors. The Dutch baby was the real winner: chewy, and puffy golden edges, blackberries, candied nuts, and a fruit drizzle. That was the most memorable thing on the table. The fish sandwich was fine but a little underwhelming. Crispy bacon and a generous salmon fillet, but the bun came out cold, which threw off the whole bite. At around $25, that detail matters. The most disappointing thing were the Fries, which were on the harder side. Tables are tight, so plan for elbow-to-elbow seating. Worth it for the Dutch baby. I'd order differently next time.
