Amazing brunch at The Maple. Their Croque Madame was fantastic. Had the eggs ever hard that went very well with the capicola and cheese. Sourdough bread was tosted to add structure to the dish. Served with a side a potatoes (fried) and arugula. Well balanced, flavorful and well portioned dish. Bravo!

We came to the Maple for brunch at 10:45 AM on Sunday, and were put on the waiting list for a half hour. They were excellent at communication with us, and it was nice to be able to walk around the neighborhood before being seated. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the view of their lovely infusions they had on the wall while we were there. I could not stop looking at how beautiful those bottles looked. Their bar set up was a delight to sit in front of. I ordered an eggs Benedict with salmon for my brunch, and it was wonderful. They poached the eggs really well, and the salmon was satisfying. I loved the greens that were served on the side of the eggs benedict too-their food was fresh. In the summer, I want to come back for some of their frozen cocktails-they had some mulled white wine advertised today, but I love the big banana set up. They also have more seating for warmer weather. I can't wait to come back!

Huge hot servings, cozy atmosphere with the fireplace, and awesome liqour & spirits selection. We had the Bolognese that was hearty and tasty along with the Fish & Chips which are fantastically ginormous, hot and juicy. So hot and juicy they almost fell out of the crispy batter! We're excited to come back in the future to more!

Coziest neighborhood breakfast/brunch spot. One of those snug spots built into an old house with mismatched coffee cups and famous potatoes that makes you feel at home. -1 star only because aside from their potatoes, a lot of their food isn't well seasoned so always have to ask for salt and hot sauce to be safe, but their drinks are stellar and they have NA options too!! Note: I prefer 4 star spots in general bc 5 star spots are typically overrated, so this is a 5 star in that sense!!!! Their menu isn't overwhelming and has seasonal items. Always happy to come back.

Here is my chicken and waffle and the other item is the croque madame.

This place is cute! The inside of this house has been really well done and it's very cute. The service was friendly and quick. Tables move here but I imagine there could be a wait in a busy day. Don't worry, you can walk to the ace while you wait. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it served me well. Very delicious and enjoyable. Plus the coffee was good too. I really love a good cup of coffee.

Great brunch spot. My mimosa was delicious and the food was also great, best chicken and waffles I've had. Perfect for a rainy day

Cute neighborhood restaurant and bar in Maple Leaf. Came here on a Friday afternoon for a drink and snack. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere available. The bartender/waitress was friendly but seemed a bit busy and understaffed for the afternoon rush. The bartender apologized a few times it. The cocktail menu is limited but they have a full bar; we ordered an aperol spritz and French 75. Both were great. We also ordered the hummus platter which was yummy! It included veggies, a hummus that was curry or tamarind flavor, bread and burrata. I saw other items people ordered (fish and chips, steak, salad) and they looked/smelled delicious. I look forward to coming back here when I'm in the area and try other times on the menu.

It seems to pop up out of nowhere but I think that adds to the "hidden gem" feel. The food is top notch and it has a cozy pub feel.

Small parking lot in behind the building and there's a pool table in the back corner of the bar. It's a nice local bar but you also feel that "see a new face, give a stink face" service that I'm noticing Seattle local bars/restaurants do a lot. The food is mediocre to disgusting. It is made by the bartender (which we wish we knew beforehand). Just from that knowledge, you already picture a certain quality of food. It was actually worst than we thought it'd be. We ordered drinks, Mac n cheese, hot dog & chips, and their special homemade recipe of Swedish meatballs. We were excited to taste all of it and were super hungry. Skip the meatballs, it tasted worst than Walmart brand meatballs. It had an obvious cardboard and processed texture and taste. They tried to mask it with mash potatoes but the quality of the mash potatoes couldn't be hidden. The only thing that saves the meal throughout was the garlic bread. If you're lit, the food won't matter but you'll definitely feel it on the toilet later. The hot dog and chips came 10mins after the rest of the food came and that was kinda lame. It was the fasted thing to make but still had to wait for awhile for a simple dish. Plus it was just potato chips, not fries so what's taking so long.

Very good, ample food choices on app menu. Nice to see they invested into adult-sized silverware and quality serving dishes. And yes, yum pickled onions! Going for pulled pork w fries, she's getting the house burger. Can't wait to try the banana bread pudding! Quality ingredients, lightly seasoned, fresh cut fries. The pulled pork was a little tired. And worse they served it warm. I would order it again though. So somebody should have put the fries in sooner. Happened to be sitting across from the open kitchen where the food was going out and hats off to their tempura batter fish and chips! The portions and presentation we're well above average they were really attractive looking plates. The bartender absolutely nailed my Spanish coffee and even gave me tequila choice! It was perfect. It took a little while on the bread pudding so I ordered another Spanish coffee, now she's driving. The banana bread pudding was exceptionally good in every way! Saw some big, juicy sliders going by, she wanted to order them next time and I agreed. Overall, I would definitely go back again. And I'm not even a sports fan unfortunately. The friendly, polite atmosphere, the well deserved excellent rating, and got to love that wall behind the very well appointed bar!

Also seemed odd as they had more staff on earlier, but they were kinda just hanging out. Had no idea who was looking after our table. Again, not terrible just an odd method. Pretty expensive for what it is, and the food we got was not worth it really. Have been to the old one and that was WAY better. Sorry won't be going back or recommending to others.

We even said something to them about the line assuming they didn't see and they said they'd told the host. I don't think the host realized what happened, but it started the experience off on a bad note. There were water cups but water wasn't filled until 30 minutes in when we asked. I got an iced tea with no sweetener. I had to ask and then it was a limited assortment and the sugar was chunky (old, exposed to water?). They were out of two of the vegetarian options: veggie patty for their burgers and the fried artichokes. We were there two hours after opening so it seemed odd that they were out already. Maybe they had a big party of vegetarians before us. Everyone felt incredibly stressed out and the atmosphere was chaotic. There was no proactive service. I had to flag people down to ask for water, sweetener, a refill. Everyone was rushing around and not paying attention to basics like empty drinks (even empty beers). They were definitely understaffed. The staff that were there were trying, but it affected the experience. The food was actually very good. The jerk cauliflower was tasty and the chicken parm sandwich was good according to my dining companion. Large portions and flavorful. I hesitate to write bad reviews and just attribute things to bad nights but this was definitely notable. I've wanted to try this place for a while but I wish we'd gone somewhere else.
