Great breakfast food. Great pancakes! Walked in around 11am on Saturday morning and there was a short wait for seating inside, so we ended up at the counter. The waitress and staff were all very friendly. My boyfriend and I split the Hot Links Omelette (side of fruit) and Wheat Germ Pancakes. The omelette was good, but it didn't look like the pictures on Yelp that we had seen before. I liked the omelette, but not my favorite one that I've had there before. The side options are bagel, toast or fruit. I got the fruit cup, but I wish I hadn't because it wasn't great. I've had the bagel before and it's really tasty, so I would recommend that over the fruit cup. When you get the hash browns, I would recommend asking for them well done or crispy because they weren't crispy enough for me this morning (well seasoned though!). I cannot believe that I have not written a review of this restaurant. We have been eating at this restaurant for years and have had, maybe, two meals that were less than very good. My favorite is Lumberjack Pancakes. I order only one or a short stack because they are large and filling. The pancakes are so good that you can almost eat them dry; however, they are served with what I think is a blueberry compote that I like to spread on the pancakes. I also like their Breakfast Sandwich, Corned Beef Hash, and South Of The Border menu items. My wife's favorites are Bacon Waffle and Mexican Frittata. Wow what an amazing spot! Trying to find places that offer gluten-free options that aren't bird food is really hard. Stacks hits the nail on the head when it comes to gluten-free options (especially for kids) and providing lots of other options for others who aren't gluten sensitive. Honestly this place... I've had bad experience in the past, but constantly seeing people lining up at Stacks made me give them another shot, and oh baby what a waste of a perfect morning. The service is so incredibly slow, took them 20 min to take our order, drinks arrived in 15, and the food showed up in a total of 40 min. The fun part was only my partner's food arrived, so I had to watch him eat while my stomach was growling. With all that wait, food came lukewarm (the traditional breakfast sandwich) and cold (the blueberry pancakes). It is best to hang out near during your wait time, otherwise your name might be missed after the hostesses calls. We got seated on time. Visited Stacks for Sunday brunch on a nice Sunday, had a pleasant experience. The place is open for outdoor dine-in and they are taking all measure to make sure it is clean and staff wearing mask. We had nice experience trying few dishes. Being vegetarian we had limited choices and we ended up trying berry pan cakes which accompanied with maple syrup, hash browns and vegetarian burrito which had some hash brown and small fruit bowl on the side. Hash browns were ok. It would have been better with potatoes wedges or something. My husband got their Skillet with hash brown and onions and side of bagel. It was pretty small portion for him but it was ok and he didn't particularly like the hash browns. Even the bagel was kinda hard. He didn't even eat it. I did like the hazelnut latte and coffee. The disappointment was in the banana macadamia nut pancakes! It was pretty expensive for three large pancakes that was kinda dry and looked burnt. It had enough macadamia nuts and bananas but not enough flavor. I had to put a lot of maple sauce to drench it. This upsets me. The Food is not good, and comes in one of two conditions: Too expensive for the portion size or Adequately portioned with poor quality. However, to my disappointment, the supposed sourdough tasted more like plain white bread.
