I had a spicy chicken katsu and a turkey breakfast burrito , both were very tasteful and something I'd imagine you'd be paying a lot more for elsewhere. Orange Bowl is really great. Their Katsu sandwich and Chicken Stripts crusted with cornflakes are high quality and tasty. I also enjoyed their fresh fries which were some of the best i've had from a restaurant in a while. Only weird thing is that Google maps seemed unaware that their parking lot is basically a one way traffic flow, and the directions on maps routed in to the exiting side of the parking lot. But honestly, what stood out just as much as the food was the staff -- insanely kind, welcoming, and just genuinely wholesome people. The turkey sandwich was ridiculous in the best way possible. The lettuce was super fresh and crisp with none of those hard white end pieces, the deli-sliced turkey was piled on generously and actually flavorful, and whatever mayo-based sauce they use... holy SHIZ it's GOOD. Symphony on my taste buds. Also: go on Fridays. Their Friday-only chicken tenders have this sweet little kick to them and are battered in corn flakes (?), which gives them an insanely good crunch and texture. Lots of delicious toppings covering very crispy fresh greens! I'm not a salad eater, but let me tell you I'm about to become one! (Please see the picture below) Plenty of ham, turkey, cheese, tomatoes, olives (yes delicious olives) and a fresh hard boiled egg! These people are awesome and definitely take pride in the food they serve! Look at the color of the yolk in the hard boiled egg! It's an orange yellow, a real premium chicken egg! So delicious!!!! Trying to expand my list of places to hit up that open early morning. Signage on the door says they're open 6am. First off - all the food tasted GREAT and the service was top notch. The lady was so sweet and I really want to support what seems like a local business. It has a pretty decent dining area even though it looks small from the front. Ordered: Beef Teriyaki bowl $16.99: You can choose to have rice and salad, or stir-fried veggies over rice. The smell is already so good, the flavor did not disappoint. Philly Cheesesteak $10.99: Another banger, I don't even like onions, but the flavor was so good. This was on the smaller size, a snack. My favorite of what I bought. Breakfast Burrito $8.99: Solid burrito, I chose bacon for the meat. It's more of a snack burrito, but I think the price matches the size of this one okay. But the portion sizes for the price is questionable. Nice business though, guess mom and pop shops are feeling the strain of risen cost of goods. (T--T ). What a surprising little gem! I arrived to pick up my car a little too early for a nearby auto shop. I needed to kill 30 minutes. I came into here to get breakfast and what a pleasant surprise! I had the sausage breakfast burrito, which was about nine dollars and very tasty. Nothing super fancy or extravagant just a really well-made breakfast burrito. Everything else on the menu looked quite good, and to be honest wish I could've tried some of the lunch options. Maybe I'll come back. This is just a mom and Pop type restaurant in a strip mall, and a little bit of an industrial area. So don't get your hopes up for anything crazy as far as ambience but the owners are super, super friendly and very quick. Tucked away in an industrial area, they get a lot of lunch time clientele looking for a quick grab and go. They have a few small tables indoors and outdoors as well. There were just two people working when we went and the place was full. Expectedly, the service was a little slow. Menu is not very large but had breakfast items, sandwiches and some Asian items like katsu and bulgogi. We got the chicken katsu plate and sandwich. The chicken katsu itself wasn't great, it had a thick coating and took some effort to cut through. The plate came with a tiny scoop of rice, some cabbage salad and two sweet dressings. Cos I ain't a fan of sweet stuff, I was not particularly drawn towards those dressings. But, everything in the plate was fresh and relatively tasty. I just wish the portions were larger, I am not a heavy eater and it was less for me as well. The sandwich and its fixings were great, everything came together cohesively. There's a little parking lot in front of the building. I ordered the chicken katsu sandwich combo. Delicious! The chicken was moist, lightly crunchy outside. Condiments (lettuce, tomato, and red onion) were all fresh. The fries were light and airy inside, just the right amount of crispy. It's a small place, friendly staff. There seemed to be a lot of people getting takeout or delivery from this place, but I was happy to sit at one of the tables and enjoy my freshly-prepared lunch. However, I was so pleasantly surprised by the high-level of kind and quick service as well as the lovely bulgogi burrito! I initially went in to order breakfast burritos but arrived after 11 AM which is when they stop breakfast. The bulgogi burrito was my plan B and I'm glad I got to try it. The bulgogi burrito had plenty of succulent meat, melted cheese, rice, onions, and bell peppers. They made the order so quickly and with lots of care. It was piping hot still after my drive home. The cheese will be melted, and the vegetables will be piping hot and still retain their texture. If you get a chicken salad sandwich, the balance will be just right. There will be just enough sauce to hold the sandwich together, just enough acid to cut through the fat and sweetness, just enough lettuce to give it some crunch. It's like stepping into an advertisement to eat the food in the picture. Everything is exactly as it ought to be, exactly what it was promised to be. The food is so good, prepared so quickly, at such a reasonable price that it will leave you dazed and confused. You will walk out wondering, why isn't this the standard? Why aren't all restaurants like this? There are a few items on their menu that they don't specialize in, like their salsa which doesn't seem to be made in house. Our assumptions were correct. There's a lot of things that set this place apart from others. We noticed the pork katsu was made in house. Most places just use the frozen one distributed by the same vendor but not this place. We also noticed most of the sauces were self made as well. Katsu sauce, salad dressing and salsa seemed made in house. Everything except the ketchup packet. I'll be going back to place to try their breakfast menu, sandwiches, and hamburger. What a great little joint. I came to the Sage Veterinary clinic which is three hours from my home. I had breakfast and lunch here twice. Very small place with very good food. The restaurant is extremely immaculate and it lunchtime is filled with workers from various sites around the commercial areas that clearly your big fans.
