Of course, I had to try their famous tri-tip sandwich and added a side of fries. The sandwich was loaded with tri-tip, tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with their BBQ sauce. The fries were a great addition and made the meal even more filling. I also ordered the Southwestern salad with chicken, and when I opened the container, I was honestly impressed by how much food they packed in there. It was huge, fresh, and loaded with chicken, avocado, black beans, corn, peppers, and plenty of toppings. Definitely not one of those salads that leaves you hungry afterward! I also have to give Firestone Grill credit for the sauces. They gave me two large containers of BBQ sauce AND two generous containers of dressing. As someone who hates when restaurants give you one tiny sauce for an entire meal, I appreciated that more than I probably should. No sauce rationing over here! I did takeout this time, but they offer self-seating and have a full bar, so next time I definitely want to dine in, grab a drink, and enjoy the full experience

The wrap is filled with tri-tip, curly fries, avocado, and deliciousness. Usually when I visit a new place, I like to try different things on the menu, but Hoagies is a bit on the pricey side, so that doesn't leave much room to experiment. And after being disappointed by their fish and chips, I knew I had to stick with the Pismo Wrap being my regular order. However, the serving size is impressive. If you're ordering the wrap for lunch, you can save half for dinner. It's that massive. I couldn't finish it in one sitting. The vibe is totally laid back and feels like you're in a beach town. A Delicious Thank You to Teachers!…read more What an incredibly thoughtful way to give back to the community! One of our teachers at school entered a drawing for a free catered lunch from Locale Farm to Table, and we were so lucky to win! The drawing was the owner Heather's way of giving back and showing her appreciation for teachers. She was especially touched by our teacher's story, which made the win feel even more meaningful. Many of us who work at the school already dine at Locale and absolutely love the food, so we knew we were in for a treat. Heather brought some of their most popular dishes, including a hot honey goat cheese spread with Pyrenees bread, roasted butternut squash and Brussels sprouts, a fresh garden salad, and a chocolate and strawberry pastry for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious! What really stood out, though, was how much thought Heather put into making sure everyone could enjoy the meal. She heard that we had some vegetarians among us and went above and beyond by preparing additional dishes without bacon so everyone had plenty to eat. That extra touch meant so much and really showed how genuinely caring and thoughtful she is. Having this incredible meal right before the first day of school was such a special treat. Teachers and school staff work incredibly hard, and feeling appreciated in such a generous way was truly wonderful. Thank you, Heather, for your generosity, kindness, and for supporting our school community! We are so grateful, and, of course, already looking forward to our next visit to Locale!

Okay! why does free lunch hit different every single time?!…read moreI attended a professional development training and they surprised us with these lunch boxes! Yay! Tell me why I was immediately in love. The moment I opened it, I was greeted with a thick, generously stacked turkey sandwich that looked like it meant business. We're talking layers on layers of tender, juicy turkey, piled high with that crisp, freshly shredded lettuce that gives the perfect crunch in every bite. Even writing about it makes my mouth water all over again! The bread? Soft, fresh, and just the right amount of pillowy to hold it all together without falling apart. As if the sandwich wasn't already the star of the show, the box came fully loaded with a chocolate chip cookie,, a bag of chips for that salty crunch moment, and a little sampler of macaroni salad that was slathered in Italian dressing. So tasty! Honestly? Mouthwatering from start to finish. Whoever put these boxes together understood the assignment! (Haha) This is definitely a must try when hungry!

Caesar's is hit and miss for me. Once in a great while it's one of the best sandwiches I've had and sometimes it's just okay. One thing I do know for sure is that I keep coming back because they have "that" clam chowder. My only complaint is that they are pricey and you can get a superior sandwich from other places.
