One of the best sandwich shops in town. Their service is awesome - speedy and super kind. Food is always fresh and made to order. PLUS they carry Voodoo Kettle chips, doesn't get any better. Hands down, officially my favorite sandwich at Sequoia. The Bayou Italiano has salami and Capicola with melted provolone but the star of this sandwich is the muffeletta olive salad. OMG!! You cannot go wrong with this! I shared and I regret it. If you bring someone make them get their own. The butterfinger cheese cake is pretty good as well with the butterfinger flavor mixed throughout the whole slice. I came right before the dinner rush and it was quiet and service was quick. Had the roasted turkey sandwich today. It was awful. Bread was falling apart from the 1st bite. I could tell it was old. Was supposed to have avocado, but it was the tiniest smear of smashed avocado. I was undecided on where I wanted to order food from tonight and I am so glad I chose Sequoia Sandwich Co! I ordered The Gobbler and chili with cornbread. The Gobbler is one of my favorites this time of year. I look forward to getting it every year when it comes back in season. It is like the whole thanksgiving meal on a roll. I have ordered this exact order many times in the past but today someone put a handful of butters at the bottom of the bag by the time I got home there was melted butter all over my car all over my daughter the bag was tearing... It was a greasy nightmare! I called the store and basically they said whoops.. so sorry. Ugh. The atmosphere wasn't that busy.
