After a pretty devastating outing with my mother a couple weeks ago, I decided it is time to take my stuff somewhere else, so she can stop holding it against me that I need help occasionally. I'm really quite upset about the situation, but anyway... I was so relieved to find a storage unit in my neighborhood, and that I could afford it. I'm looking forward to moving my stuff and feeling more independent. It's probably going to be a big, dramatic thing with my mom, so it was nice that the process of renting the unit was so painless and easy. I had no idea what I was doing, but the salesperson was more than willingbto explain everything and even let me see the 5x10 unit so I could make sure it was big enough to fit my entertainment unit and some other stuff that I'm not ready to part with yet. I was lied to by both the female employees there. Playing the blame game. Nothing could be done supposedly. I felt like it was something personal for some reason. I just paid the $750 extortion and I'll be moving my stuff out of there this week. It went from $153-$177-$227 insane man. The lies and games I'd rather not deal with this place. There's a million other storage places.

I especially want to thank Denise and Wade for the wonderful service. The lease I had with U-Store was one of the greatest experiences ever. I'm so sorry I can't continue the lease, but since I have to give up my staging business I just didn't have a choice. They went above and beyond and helped me with all my questions and concerns. A good example was when they found I hadn't locked my unit properly that same day - I could have lost all my inventory!! It just shows they care about their work and about their customers. I always felt I was in good hands, plus they've both been a joy to work with. Denise and Wade were always polite, welcoming and happy. I highly recommend this business!! The cost was comparable to the 2 other quotes I had received. On the day of the move, I ended up in the hospital, and with a few friends to direct the process in my absence, it really went off without a hitch!!!!!!! When it came time to deliver everything, they were efficient and careful with most things and nothing was broken in the process. there were 3 issues... 1) they could not get a couch out of the old apartment (Even though it was brought in) and they left it and I had to pay to dispose of it. 2 )When they unloaded everything unbeknownst to me a number of items were placed in the garage. (I am in a wheelchair and couldn't watch everything. I had to pay someone else to bring them in to the condo. 3 ) I spent $250 for $25,000 in additional insurance and after unpacking I realized the tub with an essential computer for my business was missing. The computer while valued at $800 was secondary to the files and records on it that were not all able to be backed up. When I tried to find out what happened they said they talked with the lead mover and they didnt know what happened to it. And because I was still sick from being in the hospital and couldn't unpack everything quickly, they said because it was 14 days later that I could not make a claim. While the move was accomplished and with relatively little trauma, I can not recommend Orly moving.

I have MS. I have to work in my unit for hours and my hands and body is constantly in pain because of this. They don't care. Vivian has attempted to get them to adjust the heat but they just won't do it. I'm already looking to find another place to keep my items for My business! I've been here over a year now & I'm over it at this point. I can't comfortably work within my unit anymore during the winter months.

The fuel/transport fee was above average especially given the move location was only a 2 miles distance. They added an extra mover the day off bc we have stairs. Though that was their decision, we were charged above the quoted rate for the additional person. I paid cash, which gave us a 10% discount but with all the extra fees, the 10% isn't much of a savings. I still tipped and nothing was broken or damaged during the move. They also arrived on time and helped taped boxes that needed additional reinforcement. Boxes were placed on the appropriate rooms based on the labels. I would hire them again but would budget for 15-20% more than what they quote.

Leaving most items unassembled and taped or boxed up. The lead mover even threatened and did leave unfinished because I asked if the bolts on my bed were being stripped, as I could hear the drill stripping them. Then attempted to charge double what was quoted, charging me extra for an additional mover I didn't request and for unnecessarily used tape. They literally wrapped tape around a mattress and taped up sofa pillows and charged me an additional $165 for packing supplies used. But somehow managed to scratch up my entire dinette, chairs included. Giving them 1 star is being generous; there is nothing professional about them.

Friendly and again professional, four young men, Eric, Damion, Corey and Zack. It was in inside move from one apt. to another and they packed me up, moved me and unpacked me. They asked where to unpack things and did so with care for my belongings and put everything right where I needed. Literally unpacked me right into where I needed things to go!!!!!! I have a display case of cat figures and ceramic clowns and collectibles on care bears and rainbow brite LOL (a kid at heart); and they gently unpacked those items and neatly displayed them on the showcase shelf. The movers were kind and respectful, but numerous things where broken from not being secured…read morecorrectly in the truck, including a very expensive family heirloom. Additionally I had a few shelves that didnt fit on the 1st truck. The lead mover told me it was ok he could just add them on the second truck without charging since they had to bring the truck anyways. Because he told me I wouldn't get charged, I canceled the u haul I had and let them take the items. The owner told me to bad about the broken stuff, I should have gotten the insurance and also charged me for the second truck. If you dont want a bait and switch on price and you value your stuff, I would recommend 2 guys and a truck. At least they are a major company that can afford to stand by their work.
