Snapbox Storage price gouges. I moved my items in during the summer of 2023. Starting out at 110 for a indoor 10x10 climate controlled unit. By the end of December 2024 my rate was 175. And this month February 2026 my rate went to 304. Same unit, no changes in anything. When I questioned the constant increases and no notification I was told we are just competing with all the other Storage places in the area and keeping our rates consistent with theirs. Today I moved out, 7 days before the end of the month, moved to another place 2.5 miles away, exactly the same size unit 10x10, indoors climate control for 96 bucks a month! Guaranteed not to increase more than 15 dollars a year. So im not sure who they are competing with to keep their rates consistent with. The place across from them literally you can see it from their parking lot is 110 a month for same 10x10. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM- IF YOUR IN THIS PLACE MOVE OUT- SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE! Even the new guy at the desk who just started last week told me hes had lots of people moving out. read more

now that this company was apparently bought out by Go Store It you literally cannot get ahold of a person. it's all AI, no one talks to each other, so I've had to explain myself every time to either an AI bot or a human who has no clue about the 10 other conversations I've had with people that are supposed to connect me to someone that will help. We originally selected this sight to park our RV because of the security, location and size of the space in December 2021. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Recently our Catalytic Converter was stolen on their lot It cost us over $3,250 to replace it. We have now carefully observed their security and found the following brought to our attention: The rear perimeter fencing is a residential grade 5 foot chain-link without barbed wire on top. Their security cameras were completely obstructed by large trees. Their operating hours state the lot is not attended most of the day Saturday and not at all on Sunday. They do not have a 24 hour emergency number available to the public. The property does not have a security guard. The property is surrounded by vacant wooded lots with very easy access to I-95 so the bad guys from the city can get in and out in the dark very quickly. Although this is becoming a very common issue in Harford County, there are things that can and should be done to deter this from happening to others. We were advised by the Police, repair company. and our insurance company to not return there because the bad dudes would most likely be back there. read more

This was the first time in my life that I needed to rent storage for a move. I was always impressed with the facilty in Marmora . Storage is storage but what really makes a business is their employees! Property Manager Kathy Galati is such a pleasure to work with! Kathy made everything go seamless with my move in. While we were moving our items to storage it was apparent that I had underestimated how large a bin I needed. Kathy was making her rounds and stopped by to check in on us. It was like a messenger from above! Kathy was extremely helpful in solving our problem. Kathy takes a true interest in providing the best customer service. If I ever need a storage facility again I will always look for a Snapbox! read more

First appearance is everything. The office was neat, clean and orderly. No trash around the facility. All my questions were answered. My only issue was a little trash in the storage unit.I was given. In my opinion if i know I plan on renting out a unit i would check before hand to make sure it was clean. The manager was very helpful, friendly, and professional and she swept out the unit. The way the unit was displayed was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for your assistance and I would recommend to anyone needing storage. Love the locks!! read more

A leak in the roof of the building my storage locker was in caused $450 worth of damage to some of my items. After I moved my stuff out of the locker it was not used again until they resealed their roof months later. Chose my homeowners insurance to cover the items while stored instead of their paid insurance. My unit was an interior one. While I feel the onsite staff did their best to help me out with the issue, everything had to go through the regional manager who never directly contacted me after months of inquiring about the issue. There is no main number to call about issues, everything goes through the regional manager who seems to not care. Very disappointed that the one thing this facility is supposed to do (safely protect your stored items) it could not and then felt the damage was not their responsibility. In addition, the carts they provided, when available, were often about to fall apart. There are many other options in this area for a storage facility, I wished I had chose one of them. read more

If only 0 stars was an option... I've been paying more than double per month of any other tenant at the facility for many years. Further, the facility has been owned by two for sure different owners but I think it's actually three since I moved in. If I were not savvy on the ins and outs of the rental business I would not be on such a rant. However, I do the exact thing this company does but for apartments. The current manager has honestly made an effort to help me but the management of the organization not so much. I think every good manager and or management company understand phrases like "a whole lot of something is better than a whole lot of nothing. The numbers do not pencil anymore. The good rent payer you know is a lot better than the rent payer you do not know." When your occupancy is in the low 80's and you turn one single dollar away it makes me think there are a lot of employees versus a lot of business owners making the decisions at this organization. read more
