They will increase your fees with no notice and they tell you they are able to do so at least twice yearly without any real reason. They only have 2 elevators and only 1 really works. There's always only one way in and one way out. Although there should be 2 entrances/exits, the other exit is always boarded/non-working. There is little to no pest control. I was also sent an email from them stating that the lock to my storage space has mysteriously been broken. No phone call, only one email. RENTER BEWARE!!!

This was definitely a tough move as we moved from a studio to a 4-story row home, however, they charged me about 3x more than what they originally quoted me for without giving me any forewarning. On top of that, they damaged multiple items (flat screen TV which no. longer works, dressers, room divider, lamp, shoe rack, wood floors, walls). I should have known better when they didn't even bring a dolly or straps to move our heavy items. They stopped responding to my text messages once they were paid. They are VERY quick to call you with a low quote and just as quick to not refund you. They seem kind but are not professionals.

The delivery driver had 7 pages of exceptions, items which he inspected prior to loading on his truck that were damaged. He said 2 pages was normal. Boxes were crushed and punctured. Furniture was broken and scratched. When we got the claim response they offered $172 after our $500 deductible and claimed that since we did the packing it was our fault. I worked at a moving company as a summer job so it's not like I haven't seen things done the right way. It doesn't matter how you pack a box if it is crushed and punctured....oh and it had glass written on two sides of the box. Stay away.

Instead, he casually offered to "send over a guy" -- no credentials, no accountability, no professionalism. When I asked for proof of insurance -- which any legitimate moving company should have -- they admitted they had no coverage for moving-related damages. That's right: they operate without the basic protections required to safeguard your property. And despite repeated requests, they've failed to provide any documentation or take responsibility. They acknowledged only one photo of damage, ignored offers to submit more, and tried to walk away from the situation without resolution. Their conduct was evasive, dismissive, and frankly insulting. If you value your time, money, or belongings, do not hire this company. I've filed formal complaints and will pursue legal action if necessary. This business should not be trusted with anyone's property.

Mr. Hedgepeth was super nice and gave me a few pricing options. I settled on something that was in my budget. For the first move they arrived on time and were finished fairly quickly! The second move was about a mile down the road into my house. Prior to the move, Mr. Hedgepeth came to my home ( wearing a mask and social distancing) to give me an estimate for the move and we were able to schedule the move. He will text but calls for the major details, which is very professional. The day of the move, him and his team arrived on time and worked pretty fast to get everything loaded into his truck. They have furniture covers for the highly breakable items. They also put the large items (beds, dressers, tables) together if needed. Hopefully I won't be moving again anytime soon, but if I needed a moving company , they are the first to be called!

To begin, Ed and his wife are very nice people, all of which I had as an opinion prior to conducting business. I was given a quote of $600 when Ed and his wife first came to my house. The second time, seeing as I'd need to keep my belongings on Ed's truck overnight, the estimate went up to $700. No problem and we set up the move for a Thursday initially 9am. The day prior to the move Ed called to inform me he had to push the time back to 11am. The next day I rented a Spinter Van and loaded with miscellaneous items from my house while I waited. Ed and his crew arrived at 5:40pm! Yes 6 hours past the plan start time. I had to call them twice for updates, I wasn't called until they were 10 minutes away. Upon arrival, Ed asked me "How was I going to take care of them?" I wasn't sure what he meant and with a confused look, Ed made the money gesture with his hand. I told him like any other service he'd be paid at the end of the job. Ed the stated that he needed half to take care of his guys. The next day, around 1pm I was called by Ed to see if 3pm was still good. The original plan was for me to call Ed after my 2:30pm settlement however I was told he needed his truck back. I then rushed to rent a storage unit so I wasn't an inconvenience to Ed's other job. The unit was ready at 2:30pm, I called Ed to inform him of that information and he said he'd be there at 3pm. A good friend of mine sat and waited an hour and a half for Ed to finally show up at around 4:30pm. I had hoped while I was at settlement they would've been done unloading so I could unload the Sprinter Van. Unfortunately I got there shortly after they did and my good friend and I helped them unload into the storage unit. Knowing I had to load items from my van into storage, no space was left at the end and I had to rent another storage unit. I didn't think it would all fit but I had hoped. In the end, everything from Ed's truck didn't fit in the unit as planned and assured by Ed. I approached Ed and ask for a price adjustment since was quoted $700 for the entire move and I had moved 30/40% by myself while waiting for Ed and his crew to arrive. Ed took off $100 and that was to not be discussed further and I was told "normally the price is the price." I thought to myself "I hope normally, you're on time and professIona!" I didn't say that but paid him without tip and went on to move the stuff out of the van. I really didn't want to write this review because I know my experience isn't going to be the same as everyone else's. However, I chose to write this to give feedback for the company as well as potential customers. With this information hopefully the company will make an adjustment and if customers decide to move forward here's a possibility to consider. Thanks! Wayne
