My review here will be short but to the point. The word GRAY came to mind when the food was served. Everything was flavorless and messy. Tasteless, overdone and without any style. The bathroom was a mess as well. As I always say, check out the bathrooms before eating. It will always tell you what to expect. read more

If you haven't tried this place, well you need to! Everything on their menu is delicious. My all-time favorite is Twice Baked Scramble or my new favorite Lake Taco omelette. Once you've tried this place out, get a marker and leave your mark on the wall. Friendly staff, great place and overall delicious food! read more

Evidently Squeeze In is a bit of an institution in the Reno-Sparks area. I was casting about on Yelp this Sunday, looking for a fun place for brunch, and this location was close(ish) to my hotel, so I checked it out. The first thing I want to point out is the fact that, evidently, Squeeze In has been featured on the Food Network's "Throwdown" with Bobby Flay. The place doesn't let you forget this for one minute. While I don't blame them for kvelling about this feather in their cap, I advise caution. Best not to overdo it. The service was extremely congenial and spirited. I was in a great mood and the staff responded to it in a way that enhanced my experience. The menu is a diner lover's dream: Kicky variations on classic recipes, all with fun, silly names. They take the whole concept of American breakfast very seriously here, and that's a good thing! I had the Spanish Flay (see what I mean about overdoing it?). While it sounded spectacular on the menu -- red peppers lovingly sauteed in smoked paprika and butter, seasoned eggs -- it was actually surprisingly bland. Not bad, mind you, but bland. I also had a biscuit, which was terrific. I was a bit surprised that they didn't offer me any butter or even interesting preserves or something to put on it -- just the standard issue Denny's-type miniature jam dispensers. But still, a good biscuit. If I lived here, I'd revisit Squeeze and work my way through the menu. I am confident there are choices I'd enjoy more than the Spanish Flay. The staff's friendliness and energy would also keep me coming back. I was speaking to a gentleman who I think was one of the principals of the business, because he told me about a recent trip to San Diego, where they're looking to expand. If only they'd come to Hollywood, where I live. "Rents are way too expensive," he told me. Shoot. read more

Keto friendly if you order smart. Food took an extremely long time to get out and the restaurant was slow at that time which was frustrating. Nice staff very polite surprisingly on the pricey side for breakfast, but the food is very worth it. Can be cramped when busy. No patio at this location but the other location is pet friendly with the patio. Parking is also very spotty depending on how far you want to walk and what's going on at the blood donation place next door. read more

Great food. Unique atmosphere. Coffee could use some work, but overall I recommend this place.

I love Squeeze In! Love, love, love it! Always busy, so have to plan ahead of time, but so grateful for the delicious quality on food and experience. read more

I have been to this restaurant for breakfast several times. I've never had a bad experience here. The atmosphere is quirky/kind of trendy/homestyle. The staff is super friendly. Even if it's crazy packed in there, I've never felt ignored by the staff. The breakfast food is great. There's a large array of choices. The juices are freshly squeezed & the ingredients in the food are always fresh. And, the portions are enormous! (I ALWAYS leave with a full to-go box of food. I've gotten to the point now that I just ask for the to-go box as soon as I order... actually, right after I order one of their outstanding mimosas.. :-) If you're looking for a great place that serves a hearty breakfast and has a lot of choices, you will LOVE Squeeze In. As I said in the beginning, I've been here several times and I will continue to return! Keep up the great work! read more

Wife and I stopped in for breakfast the other day and the line was out the door. After we ate though there was no doubt in my mind why this place is so popular. Amazing food, genuine great service, not faked "I hate people but have to be nice" service. They serve Truckee Sourdough company bread which is equally amazing and they have good vegetarian options. All in all one of the best breakfasts I've had in Reno and since it's so close to home in Sparks, will be my go-to for eating breakfast out. read more

The hangover omelet was lacking flavor, and when I sent it back and ordered their signature French toast i realized it was not for me either. When you walk in, there was no one who greeted us nor a sign to let us know if we seat ourselves or wait for a hostess. However, It's a cute little whacky restaurant with plenty of character. The staff was very kind. They have toy buckets for busy children hands instead of crayons and I was very happy about that. We went on a Thursday early afternoon and it appears the restaurant gets very busy at peak hours. I left the restaurant hungry and unsatisfied, but I could see how some people enjoy the place. I won't return, but that's mostly because we aren't locals read more

Visiting for a softball tournament and wanted a local stop for breakfast. This place has it all... Atmosphere, great friendly staff and delicious food with huge portions. Definitely recommend and if we were local we'd be regulars! read more

Inside of the restaurant gives you a homey feeling. Food is yummy. Customer service is excellent. I would go back again.

If you are on the verge of a hunger break down have no fear the Squeeze In is here! It's loaded with lots of great menu options from breakfast to lunch. You can indulge your hunger cravings with traditional options or a healthier meal! If service is a concern then this is the place for you everyone is polite and ready to accommodate your needs. It is a little tight as the name suggest so if you like a big open feel it might not be the place for you. But if small and cozy is what you are looking for look no further! read more

My husband and I try to go every Sunday. The staff is always amazing and the food is fantastic. My favorite is the Zweiful which is full of peanut butter, apples and bananas. It might sound strange but it is fantastic! read more

I'm start with a compliment, The food is always great! Try the Queen Maggie, you won't regret it if you like sweet breakfasts. The two star rating is for the simple fact that on more than a handful of occasions we have put our name in to be seated and there is a wait (perfectly fine), the wait is always longer than they say it will be (again, fine)... the problem is that almost every time we go in to be sat down they never pay attention to who has been waiting the longest and seat people in what ever order. It's not hard to keep track of who put their name in first and ask the other parties to wait their turn. Also imagine getting treated this way and then when you go to pay the bill and the only options for tips on their iPad is 20%, 25%, and 27%. Thanks for taking the time to read my review. read more

Far cry from their humble a great beginnings... The Squeeze in brand was built on fresh food, decent portions, and quirky atmosphere, it is now a poor imitation of itself. The freshness has been replaced by the canned or frozen products off the back of the Sysco truck assembled into menu items that look familiar to the original menu but have very little taste unless you load it up with hot sauce. My omelet came with their cheese sauce that came straight out of a Costco can along with canned refrieds, canned green chili mush, etc... I get the reduced portion size in todays economy to keep competitive prices but the family owned micro-chain really needs to get back to their fresh and tasty roots. Compete by providing a high quality product as opposed to cheaper ingredients at the same prices and smaller portions... Don't get me wrong, larger portions of the low quality food wouldn't improve this review. The quirky atmosphere is still there and is definitely a niche in the market but their current food offerings are alien to me... Probably wont go back unless I hear of some improvement. read more

Yikes !!! Ok so I was not able to try the food and this is why, walking in the smell of Blind Dog Coffee was awesome! Fresh smelling coffee is always a big plus! However I was getting my order to go, I asked for a menu, the menu was nice looking and fun to read, this place had great potential so I went to order the girl which I'm glad she did told me she had to charge me a service charge for ordering at their restaurant! Anything I order was subject to a 15% surcharge she wanted to inform me this first, so I left ! No way will I pay extra just to order and pick up food myself! What kind of place is this? If this is your way of forcing people to tip that's wrong! I tip based on service if the owner wants his employees to make more money pay them more! Your food is already pretty expensive compared to pegs ham and eggs, and to top it off you charge people to order from your restaurant? Good luck !!! I wont be back read more

Great brunch place. Service is great and staff is always friendly. That's just a plus to their great food. All of their omelettes are delicious (and they have pretty creative names too). My personal favorite is the Lake Taco, a good ratio of meat to veggies in an omelette without one thing overpowering the other. And their loaded potatoes (potatoes with a whole ton of cheese and onions) is also to die for! Really recommend this place to locals and visitors alike. read more

If you judge a good restaurant by its soups or breads I would judge a good breakfast spot by it taters and these are the worst I've ever had. No restaurant I've ever eaten at or worked at in over twenty years as a line cook has ever deep fried the potatoes. That being said I don't wanna slam the place the folks are all super nice the rest of the food is good and the drinks are great. I love the vibe and would go I'll just stay away from the taters. read more

I've lived here awhile so I tried it out. Got the eggs Benedict with side of home fries. 1) most of the potatoes were raw. 2) English muffin had about an inch of toasted bread and the rest was completely not toasted. 3) hollandaise sauce did not have a lot of flavor. However, the egg was cooked perfectly so I ate the eggs and the half dozen or so potatoes that were cooked. Disappointed and likely won't return. read more

Fun, funky breakfast chain in Reno/Tahoe. They have an amazing selection of omelets, my favorite being the Dirty Dick. Be sure and order your hashbrowns/home fries "Otis" style and they'll smother them in onions and melted cheese. Expect a wait on the weekends but it is well worth it! read more

I was disappointed in our visit here. While their food was good, I have a few reasons for taking away 3 stars. Most importantly, having Celiacs, I requested for information about gluten free options. Our server did not understand this question at all. Someone else came to help. She also, while seeming nice, did not have much knowledge about gluten. Come to find out, all they can do gluten free, are their omelettes. Which was really disappointing as I am not an omelette loving person. And really, omelettes are all you can do gluten free? Yeah, you're trying real hard there. While our omelette was delicious and I did enjoy it, I cannot believe we paid almost $20 for ONE omelette! NO drinks, NO sides, nothing extra. And our bill was $18. It was a good omelette! But not worth $20. And certainly not worth the tip when the staff didn't have much knowledge of being gluten free :/ read more

Visited the Squeeze in Sparks the other day and had mixed opinions. Very pleased that they would make my omelet the way I wanted, but disappointed that once again it was dry and not put together well. I don't want to add sauce to overcome dryness. Maybe if i give it another try I will have the scramble. Coffee and toast were both good. read more

I will definitely make my way back the next time I'm around Reno. It was totally worth the extra few minute drive out. We expected a 15 minute wait and they got us in in less than 10. I had the king crab Benedict and my husband got what he always gets, ham and cheese omlette. I'm usually picky about my hollandaise sauce but this one beats my homemade sauce, i actually asked for extra. Benedict's get 3 perfectly poached eggs and mine was topped with a sliced half of avocado. I opted for the home fries with onion while my husband got his regular hash browns. We both agreed that the home fried potatoes were the best we have EVER had! Perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. I wish I had a bigger appetite so i could go back for lunch before we leave town :( The atmosphere was super cute and eclectic. I felt relaxed, at home and utterly cared for. This place is not to be missed! read more

Hands down my favorite breakfast spot. They have excellent service and quality food. The menu is pages long with a wide variety of options. Lunch is also served here, but I can never seem to get away from the breakfast menu. My favorite is the Eric's Breakfast Burrito with Otis Style Spudz, along with Buddy Mimosas. Because you do have to 'Squeeze In', there may at times be a wait, but it's well worth it! I've never been disappointed. read more

All I can say is YUM!!!! Staff is super friendly, food is delicious! Love this place!

I'm wavering here, but I think if I got breakfast, I would have been happier. My husband and our friend loved the breakfast. I had the French dip, the beef wasn't as flavorful as I'd hoped, but it was still good. I got garlic fries (sans nasty Parm cheese), and they were nice and garlicky. The service was so gracious and homey that I will come back and try a breakfast item. The wait is LONG, but you can order mimosas or bloody marys (I was too hung over to think of it). Worth another trip. read more

Squeeze in! One of those unique places where they serve mostly breakfast an is open only til 2pm. But if your able to check this place out I would recommend it to any of my friends because not only the atmosphere is something different but their menu always makes me giggle while im looking at it. But no the food here is always hot, made to your order. I love how the servers are nothing more then the up most respectful crew you would meet, treats everyone as a friend not a stranger. I will always have nothing but great things for this place. Thank you! read more

Love love love this place!! I've eaten at the NW location and the Sparks, both places were Fantastic!! Service was friendly and attentive and the food was super yummy! First time visiting Reno! On our way out of town, we stopped by the Squeeze In because I remembered seeing it on the Food Network. Good 1. Cute Restaurant 2. No waiting for a seat (I think we just got lucky) 3. Huge menu 4. Decent prices 5. Fast service 6. Good hashbrowns Not so good 1. Loud 2. Food while tasty didn't really meet the hype of what I had heard and read. 3. The omelettes are less omelettes and more covers for ingredients. The filling wasn't incorporated in any way into the egg and fell out on every bite. They might as well have been separated on the plate. Also the egg was very dry. The cheese sauce they served with it was also very bland and didn't seem to make sense with the omelette. While needing some work in the construction/identity of their omelettes, the Squeeze Inn will fill you up and get you ready for a day of traveling or slot machinery. read more
