After dealing with another company over the phone who sounded like a bunch of thugs, that I wouldn't want to even know my address, I decided to pay more and went with Flannery's. The lads showed up on time, phoned when they were 10 minutes away, and like Boy Scouts; helpful, friendly, courteous, cheerful and kind. They were in and out in a breeze and respected parking zones, the apartment building and inside our home. They were good communicators and seemed genuinely content in being part of a family business. My condo association requires proof of insurance from movers which I was told, one week before my move, that Jonathan couldn't provide. Unfortunately, he also couldn't provide a return of my deposit. It has been MANY emails and unanswered phone calls over several months and I have only had $200 refunded. I worked much harder for that money than I should have. I have no doubt I will not get my money back, especially after this review, but if I can save anyone else the terrible experience I had with these movers then so be it. We were in a 3rd floor condo in Wakefield and moved to a ranch in Georgetown. The 3 floors didn't matter- they were so fast, efficient, and definitely strong to move as much as they did. Since our closing was very last minute we didn't get the chance to box everything so they did that for us when necessary. They have boxes for closets so you don't have to take clothes out of there at all. They moved a huge treadmill, King bed, Queen bed, couch, heavy tv stand/fireplace, and so much more! It was a Saturday afternoon so their main number was not being answered and I had no communication from them and no way of knowing if they were still coming. It was unnerving. Once they arrived though, they were great. They were fast, efficient, strong, smart, and good humored. I definitely recommend them, but suggest that you have a back-up way to communicate with them on the day of the move, in case they are running behind schedule. 4 stars.
