No uniforms, sign literally taped to the truck.

Would give 0 stars if I could. My signature was forged on documents that I did not see until afterwards. I sent the below email to them, and their response amounted to "sorry you're frustrated, nothing we can do, thanks for understanding." No. Here's a copy of the email I sent to them, for context: "Hello, That is not my signature. I did not see or sign this document. Options A, B, and C were not addressed with me on 8/31/26. On 8/31/26, Joshua Quigley did not arrive until at least 1:11pm. The document you provided shows the start time as 12pm. I already informed Jeff Sailaubek of this at the time of payment, and this should have been updated. Further, I was quoted 3-4 hours at $140 per hour. Quigley tried to charge me for 8 hours. I informed Jeff of this at time of payment also. I also explained to Jeff what happened during my move. Jeff told me that he could discount 1 hour, and that I would have to contact Goat Movers directly to dispute this charge further. I am disouting this charge now. I did also speak to someone named Sarah, I believe, via phone on the morning of 9/1/26. She told me that the information would be passed on to management. To recap, movers were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 9am on 8/31/26. Instead, I had to call for a status update at 12:35pm after hours without any communication from the moving crew or from Goat Movers. Quigley arrived at my apartment at 1:11pm or later. At 4:37pm, I contacted Quigley after not hearing anything from him for over 3 hours. At 4:44pm, Quigley texted back saying they were about to head over. Quigley then did not arrive to my new apartment until after 6:17pm. I have since been informed that the original movers sideswiped a car in my neighborhood. My understanding is that this resulted in police showing up at my apartment while Joshua Quigley and whoever he hired were there. Quigley had told me that he took so long to finish loading my belongings and arrive at my new apartment because the police were asking him questions. Quigley told me that this resulted in the man that he hired loading the moving truck by himself while Quigley spoke to the police. The clock should have stopped until the issue with the police was resolved and started again when Quigley and his hire were able to resume. It is unreasonable and absurd that Quigley charged me for the time that he was talking to the police. Quigley's hire had driven separately in his own vehicle, and Quigley also waited around for him to get there instead of at least beginning to unload the truck. While waiting, he harassed one of my new neighbors, including shouting at her and repeatedly calling her "baby" and "sweetheart." When Quigley's hire did arrive, he was visibly under the influence. He slurred his speech and could barely get a word out, his eyes were glassy, he could barely walk without stumbling, and he could barely push the dolly back and forth between the truck and my apartment. While unloading the truck, Quigley and his hire took 5-10 minutes in between each trip out to the truck and back. Please note that my apartment is directly next to the half-flight of stairs, which is directly next to the entrance that the truck was parked in front of. I did inform them of the elevator, and they chose not to use it. They spent that time standing around talking by the truck in between bringing in loads. At one point, Quigley texted me asking if I would run down to the Plaid Pantry down the road and get the 2 of them something to drink because they were dehydrated. When I did not respond, Quigley's hire disappeared for at minimum 10 minutes, presumably to go to the Plaid Pantry. This meant that again, I was being charged for 2 movers while 1 of them was not working and the other was averaging 1 load of 3 boxes at a time every 10-15 minutes. Between finally unloading the truck and waiting for me to complete the payment with Jeff via phone (Quigley asked me to call Jeff to make the payment while telling me that he did not know the name of the person I would be talking to), Quigley and his hire did not leave until around 9pm. They finished unloading around 8:15pm. Quigley did not tell me the cost or show me any paperwork before or after I called, spoke to Jeff, and made the payment via Zelle. When I went back to my previous apartment to clean and return my keys, I also found that multiple items had been left in my closet (2 small boxes and 3 nested litter boxes), meaning that despite taking an excessive amount of time to load the truck, they still did not load all of my belongings. They had asked and I had confirmed several times that everything needed to be loaded and transported to the new apartment. My apartment was packed and ready to load when they arrived. Additionally, I have found at least 1 item that they damaged during the move. This job should have taken the 3-4 maximum hours as quoted. Instead, I was charged $930. 3 hours x $140 per hour = $420."

    Sofa damage Oct. 28

Warning: Property damage & No Accountability We hired Goat Movers on October 28, 2025 to move our last few items. They requested a $100 deposit over the phone with no contract or paperwork. When they arrived, the two movers were in street clothes with no uniforms or ID, and the truck had no permanent branding--just a magnetic sign on the driver's door. After the move, we paid the remaining $425 balance in cash. No receipt or proof of payment was provided. During the move, multiple items were damaged, including furniture, a floor lamp, and the threshold at our new home. They even clogged our toilet by flushing baby wipes. We have photos documenting the damage in this order: 1. Threshold damage 2. Sofa/furniture damage 3. Floor lamp damage - front view 4. Floor lamp damage - close-up 5. Cushion stain from wet driveway This service is not a professional moving company. There is no accountability, no documentation, and a high risk of property damage.

Our dishes were wrapped in cling wrap. On the bottom are the glasses with the heavier items on top.

Do NOT use GOAT Movers. We used them to pack our house. They arrived without tape guns. They didn't have markers to mark our boxes, we had to give them ours. They took statues that were displayed in a glass case and put them in a box without wrapping anything around them. Two are now broken. They wrapped all of our breakable dishes in cling wrap and put heavy items on top of them. They failed to tape the bottom of a box sufficiently and when I lifted it, the contents spilled out onto my garage floor. They used bubble wrap on two items, yet charged me $50 for a roll of bubble wrap. I spent my weekend redoing their work. I asked for a full refund, they said no. I asked for a partial refund and they said they would get back to me. It's been weeks and I have heard nothing. I have pictures to demonstrate.

Update: 50% refund…read more Yeah, don't go with these guys. i had specific instructions for my move both to the rep on the phone (xavier he's great) and to them directly. all were not really cared for properly. I should have just gotten my friends and a uhaul to move, but i was promised it would take 5hrs. i was billed 5.5hrs. tip top of the money i had left. and they didn't even have time to move everything. why? because their recklessness with my things i didn't want them carrying my computer monitors. they were hired to pack and move stuff across portland. they came at 1:30 when they said only to tell me that they didn't know they needed all the packing stuff. they eventually arrived nearly 2hrs later and towards the END Of the original window i was promised without any 'hey we will be there at this ETA' they said they got stuck behind a train, which is fine i guess? but no update after that until i called and complained, which got me a 5% discount, which is nice i guess? but like everything that happened after were MASSIVE red flags, both for the computer and the 'movers' which felt like contractors they just hired for whatever without properly vetting. i had a small move, 2 rooms. they were the slowest movers and most reckless movers i've ever hired. but i don't really blame them fully for that. supposedly they were working since 8am and just drove up from salem or something. they didn't even eat lunch. is that even legal?! no wonder they came to the door exhausted already and out of it. These 2 guys did the best they could, but honestly with how exhausted I was from helping them (something i SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO), they were doing a good job, but that doesn't really matter. In the end this guy ruined my $2000 custom built standing desk for music. not sure if i can get it repaired or fixed. he undid it and said he will put it back together. it was pretty easy just a few bolts into the joints between the wooden top and the legs and putting on the keyboard tray. easy stuff for the most part (when you have a drill, i don't own one). this guy didn't even look at where he was drilling or understand how the desk was put together after showing him specific things. he just drilled in the bolts and they hit a part that they're supposed to go into but was put in backwards making it impossible (on purpose) to get the screw in. this guy just kept drilling harder and harder and when i asked him about it he was like yeah it's supposed to sound like that. He either was so exhausted he couldn't think straight or just took on tasks he could have said 'yeah i don't know how to do that, can you do it?' either way now i have a broken desk that's only partially built and put together. i am really glad i moved all of my expensive stuff to my place with a friend last weekend, because they definitely would have broken a lot of very expensive things! I also gave them a mattress cover to put on the mattress, and they struggled doing that. You are movers wtf?! i zipped it up about half way and moved on. Then when we got to my new place they didn't even use it and put the mattress on the pavement to get a better angle or something. like what was the point in bringing it?! They also dropped a bunch of precious memories i had in a bin in a bin, they said they took them out because the outer bin couldn't close (bs). They were holding it open wrapped around their arm and i asked them to close it as it doesn't look secure and he said it would be fine, then immediately drops it with pictures and papers dropping on the ground and getting dirty. Anyway this all just happened. and there's no way I can live in my new place due to the lack of time they afforded to me to actually place things in the right spot. At least my bed is in the right spot. luckily for now i am in a short term rental because my last place had mold and why I am moving. i am highly allergic and being there as long as i did, both to wait for them to show up and how slowly they worked on loading the truck, I am feeling sick again because of it. The estimate was low balled to say the least because these guys move at a snails pace because this company overworks them and treats likely their staff like crap. these are probably more desperate people looking for an easy pay day. one guy was like 'i worked 4 days this month' and the other one worked 6 days in a row. a 12 hr day without a break outside of driving (which isn't a break) isn't really fair or legal? I paid nearly 1k for this move, and you can't afford to give these people a proper break between moves? I'm sure they weren't making nearly enough either. Lastly they pressured me to sign a thing at the end of the receipt that says everything was delivered intact, which i didn't sign. Anyway go with another company, not worth the risk. I didn't have another weekend to do this move as i need to have a livable space and that takes time as well. Anyway the movers were careless, slow, expensive, and ignored instructions.

If you read one thing from this review, it's this: do not hire All Service Moving unless you're…read morewilling to risk unexpected charges, damaged belongings, and a company that refuses to stand behind its work. We provided a complete inventory of our home and were quoted for one truck. Your team spent an entire day packing our home and never once mentioned there was a capacity issue. It wasn't until the very end of moving day, after everything had already been packed and loaded and we had no meaningful opportunity to make another decision, that we were told we needed to pay for a second truck. As a result, it ultimately required two trucks to remove our belongings from storage, effectively doubling the cost we had been led to expect. Unfortunately, the handling of our belongings was even more concerning. During move-out from All Service Moving's warehouse, numerous damaged items were identified and photographed. We also documented furniture stored directly against other furniture with little or no protection, exposed boxes, and delicate items packed and stored in ways that unnecessarily increased the risk of damage. As we continued unpacking, we found additional examples of improper packing, despite paying All Service Moving to professionally pack our home. Wardrobe boxes were not used for hanging clothing--the hanging bars were never used, and clothing and shoes were piled throughout the boxes. Delicate lamp shades were packed with dirty outdoor items. Clothing was packed alongside a floor cleaner and a greasy kitchen rack. Fragile decorative branches were packed without protection and arrived broken. These were not isolated mistakes. They reflected a consistent pattern in how our belongings were packed, stored, and handled. Despite photographs documenting both the damage and the way our belongings were packed and stored while in All Service Moving's warehouse, the company has never taken responsibility. We spent months trying to resolve this privately before writing this review. During that time, we repeatedly provided documentation, waited through postponed discussions, and requested the documents supporting the company's position. Those documents were never produced, and All Service Moving never took responsibility for the damage. Moving is one of the largest expenses and most stressful experiences many people will go through. When you hire a moving company, you're trusting them with everything you own. We expected our belongings to be handled with care and, if something went wrong, for the company to stand behind its work. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with All Service Moving.

I highly recommend Portland Movers Company…read more I used Portland Movers Company 2 times recently. First for moving from my things from my sold home to storage until I found a home to purchase and then a second time from storage to my new home. For each time from the initial contact for the appointment to the final move I could not have asked for better service. All of my questions were answered, I was informed the evening before and the morning of the moves of arrival times so I was prepared. The movers took great care of my things even though they worked quickly and ensured things were left where I wanted them.

We paid for full service because we are both currently injured and could not do the work ourselves, and we came to them through a family recommendation. The crew was scheduled to arrive between 11:00 and 12:00 and showed up around 2:00. We were told there had been an accident, and we understand things happen. But by the time they arrived, we had already packed everything except the kitchen ourselves. Packing the kitchen alone took them roughly three and a half hours, and even then the refrigerator was never emptied and items were left sitting on the counters. The team seemed very inexperienced. They needed direction on the simplest tasks, had zero spatial awareness, and moved at a snail's pace. They were also strikingly inefficient, taking a single item at a time to the elevator and riding up to the new unit instead of loading it first, and theykept doing it even after we suggested otherwise. Eventually we asked them to stop handling our dressers because we were worried about damage and about someone getting hurt. To keep the time and the bill from spiraling, we moved boxes, cleared out both closets, and carried furniture ourselves. It is not an exaggeration to say my partner and I did at least 60% of the move. I ended up moving two large dressers on my own with an injured ankle because they couldn't figure out how to maneuver it into the closet. Afterward we sent a detailed message, and owner Natalya called. The conversation centered almost entirely on the late arrival. The labor we ended up doing and the unfinished kitchen and refrigerator were never really engaged with. When we raised how inexperienced the crew seemed, we were told they had more than 10 years of experience, which flatly contradicted what we had just watched. The most she offered was a $100 discount, which she described as the entire profit on the job. We have used movers several times before for larger and more complicated moves, and every one went better than this. I would not recommend this company.
