I love Sprinkles! I try not to eat their cupcakes often, only twice a year or so because they are way too tempting! We visited the Irvine Spectrum location and they are never very busy. When we went in, we were able to order right away and I like that they have most every flavor, even in the later evening. Clean, bright area, on the smaller side, but since its to go, not an issue at all. So many great flavors to choose from! I went with the box of 4, and at around $20 that is a great deal! We tried the Vietnamese coffee, red velvet, strawberry and vanilla. Is it my imagination or did the cupcakes get smaller?? Still fresh and delicious but I do believe they aren't as big. I didn't even get a photo of the cupcakes before we all started digging in. Ooops!
I visited this location the day before thanksgiving and was surprised when I entered the store that no one was there. I looked around and attempted to use the self-checkout kiosk and when I was almost finished one the workers came to greet me. 5-7 min later. She was super nice and suggested I get the Vietnamese coffee cupcake it was that or the gluten free blueberry lemon. To be honest, I didn't like the flavor of the cupcake. I should have gone with something tried and true, like the red velvet or the blueberry lemon. Luckily, this was the last day to redeem my birthday cupcake, so I didn't have to pay for it. I took a bite when I went home and basically discarded the rest. i swear it was a full moon. 0/3 for 3 different spots, food choices, and experience. I may just stick to the Newport beach location, or with flavors I know. Lesson Learned.
It's been a really long time since I've had a Sprinkles cupcake. I got a free strawberry one for my birthday recently. The flavor of the strawberry icing tasted pretty natural and it was moist and delicious. I remember the sizes of the cupcakes used to be humongous when they first opened many years ago. Now they are pretty small now in comparison. All in all can't complain about a free birthday dessert.
We've been trying to lessen our sugar intake and quickly found out how massively difficult it is to find sugar-free dessert options at bakeries. Since we were going to be in the Irvine Spectrum area anyway, I figured why not find out what's available there. My "research" led me to this place and the one option they offer--Sugar free Red Velvet Cupcake. The cake itself with the frosting is said to be made with sugar substitutes. Ok, let's try it out. Yup, it's quite good. Just the right amount of "sweetness" and I really like the cream cheese frosting. The texture is soft and not dry. There is an "s" at the top which is technically edible, but I'd skip it. For the sugar free seeker though, highly recommend. The only downside, it is pricey...but like expectedly so--I mean, with the franchise name and location. Tip: order ahead (there were many to-go orders ready because it ensures you'll get the flavor and options you're looking for.) The lady that gave us our pick-up order was friendly and efficient--that's all we expected and received. The outside of the Sprinkles building is cute, the inside is small but also cute. And it always smells nice. Oh, and if you're not needing a sugar free option, congratulations, they have some solidly good cupcakes with a variety of flavors for you! :-)
We ordered 5 cupcakes via DoorDash and they were fantastic. The coffee and coconut cream were filled with a custard and they made the cupcake so moist and flavorful. The ones that were not filled were really good cupcakes, but probably not the best I've ever had. I also enjoyed that the cakes were not just smacking you in the face with sugar like most cake places. These cakes were more flavor forward than sugar forward.
Love Sprinkles cupcakes! My favorite is the red velvet. It is the fluffiest with the yummiest cream cheese frosting. The banana, vanilla and chocolate are also delicious. I have been wanting to order a Sprinkles cake ever since I saw it on their website. We ordered the confetti cake and were disappointed. I was told that it was the same as the cupcake, but after eating it I have to admit that it is nothing like the cupcake. The cake was a big disappointment. It was dry and way too sweet. We ordered it for my birthday and there were plenty of leftovers. Every time I get the cupcakes, they are always gone. HAPPY SPRINKLING!!
Always quality cupcakes and very clean inside! The red velvet cupcake will always be my favorite one!! Also got a pupcake and my dog didn't really like the frosting, it was also very hard.

I ordered online for pickup just around the time the limited edition strawberry shortcake cupcake was available. The location was clean, and more spacious than the one in CDM. They had a nice shelf for pick up orders (or at least I think that's what it's for). There are more cupcakes here than the CDM location, so I doubt they have to deal with running out of certain flavors throughout the day. Definitely come here if you're in Irvine or more south OC.
I love Sprinkles cupcakes. Their red velvet and GF red velvet are the best around. The cake is fluffy and moist and the frosting is a beautiful touch. I often order via their app and do in-store pick up. It's always been fast and easy. That said, I recently saw that they now offered mini cupcakes so decided to get two dozen of those instead of a dozen of their normal sized cupcakes... and they look like store bought cupcakes that should be sold for no more than $10 a dozen. I'm so disappointed. Two dozen mini cupcakes here are $50. Take a look at my pic and I'll let you be the judge on whether these are worth it. Will stick to the normal sized cupcakes now for our special occasions.
I have been craving for sprinkles for so long finally got it for Mother's day yay!! It wasn't that busy surprisingly but maybe cause everyone was shopping and doing their Mother's Day thing but I was craving my daughter wanted the sprinkles one so I got two of those, 2 red velvets, a strawberry, black and white and banana. The service was great I had them keep the box open so I could get a photo of course :) awesome service very friendly and super clean. The service from the front desk girl was appropriate she was friendly and thorough. We did have to order from one of the two iPads in the front so it was kind of easy to do. My personal favorite has always been red velvet and banana and of course both were sold out lol we got the lemon blueberry one, sprinkles, strawberry and the vegan red velvet. Place is clean, no seating area inside but outside there are some Chairs with tables under an umbrella.
I finally made it to the Sprinkles location at the Spectrum! My birthday was this past month and I got an email with my birthday cupcake offer. Since we were at the Spectrum for dinner nearby, my husband and I went to redeem my birthday promo. I almost ordered in the app but it was only available 20 minutes later so I asked the cashier for assistance. She was super helpful and rang me up at her register so I didn't need to order at the iPad screen. I went with a Salted Caramel cupcake and DH got the Vanilla Milk Chocolate cupcake. Service was super fast and friendly. The cupcakes were as good as I remember.

Great location while visiting the Irvine Spectrum. They had all cupcake flavors available and even the pup cupcakes!! I tried the Sticky Toffee! Which I was so happy I chose that one and not my normal go to!! It was delicious!!! I also got my husband his favorite, strawberry. And I got our doggies their pup cupcakes!! They loved them!! We had Sprinkles cupcakes today after lunch for our Halloween festivities and a birthday at the office. We thought our Office Coordinator put us on some kind of diet or something because they were tiny cupcakes. :) We were told later that Sprinkles only had the mini cupcakes available when she ordered. The cupcakes were super small but they were moist and good. I had the pumpkin flavor and I liked it. We had two dozen and they were gone pretty quickly. Sprinkles time! Located at Irvine Spectrum across from Regal movie theaters. I have always liked Sprinkles cupcakes but recently had an ongoing craving for them. I feel like over time the cupcakes have gotten smaller and much sweeter and more expensive (now it's $5.50). I tend to get their red velvet and strawberry flavor. I saw their new candy apple one but didn't have the stomach for a third cupcake. I like how you can order ahead on their app for easy pickup. But you still have to tell an employee that you are here for a pickup and she still takes awhile to grab your order. read more

This was the best Sprinkles location I've ever been to! I came here to redeem my birthday cupcakes. I was having trouble with the kiosk, so the lady working the counter here helped take my order. She was very nice and super helpful. This Sprinkles bakery was nice and spacious compared to the Newport Beach and Beverly Hills locations. If I'm ever in this area again, I'd definitely stop here to get Sprinkles cupcakes, the service was so great! read more

Avocado from Mexico was NOT GOOD. Spicy gross chocolate frosting. Great location. Was waiting for them to open for a while. Pride flavor is all sprinkles inside. You can't see the cupcakes. Im not tipping to be handed my one cupcake. Pay your employees a decent wage. read more
So the last time I had Sprinkles was about six years ago and it was a bit underwhelming imo. Since then it was just never convenient to get it since there's usually a long line or out of the way, so when I saw that it was finally opened at spectrum, I thought it would be nice to give it another try since I'm here every week lol. This is my third time getting it since I wanted to be sure I tried a good majority before giving this place my proper review! I went right when they opened since I was walking my dog so there was no line. You order through a kiosk only and there aren't any displays for you to look at, but there are pictures! Once you order through a kiosk, they went to getting my order which didn't take long. They were very considerate to ask if I wanted my gluten free cupcake to be separated from the regular ones. The cupcakes were ok in my opinion! Better than what I remembered them to be. I personally feel like there's a lot of frosting, which makes it hard to take a big bite that includes the cake and frosting and the cake does fall apart pretty easily and the cake does stick to the paper, which I didn't like. I can handle sweets pretty well, but I do think that it can be too sweet for those who aren't big on them. My boyfriend and I personally enjoy cupcakes that have been refrigerated, so I put it in the fridge when we got back lol. We've had it not refrigerated and we weren't a huge fan. Orders: Red Velvet: I believe this is like *the* cupcake flavor and I totally get it! I love red velvet so I had to try it and it is really good! I would say this is my favorite one out of all the others I've tried. Lemon Blueberry: my boyfriend got this and he liked it. I didn't try it since I don't l love lemon blueberry but he thinks it was good! The frosting is lemon flavored and he had a couple of blueberries in the cake itself. Black and White: vanilla frosting, dark chocolate cake with chocolate sprinkles. I really enjoyed this one to be honest! I am a sucker for the basic flavor haha so I had to try it and I thought it was yummy! Definitely would be considered too sweet for those who don't love sweets but i think they did a good job combining vanilla and chocolate. Strawberry: similar to a strawberry shortcake. I enjoyed the strawberry frosting as well as the cake itself. It wasn't too sweet (for me personally). I just wish it wasn't as crumbly as it was. I ate this without refrigeration and didn't like how the cake part fell apart easily because there were so much crumbs. Dark Chocolate: again, love chocolate lol so I had to get this. It's very much your standard chocolate cupcake with chocolate sprinkles. Circus Animal: comes with a circus animal cookie on top! It was really just a funfetti cake, which was good! Just wasn't worth the price in my opinion. Pup cake : so when I saw that they had a cupcake for dogs, I HAD to get it for my dog because why not haha if we get dessert, so does he. It looked good and smelled just like their other cupcakes! The downside is that it is small, which was disappointing since it was $3. My dog would say it was good, but he eats everything lol. Overall, I do think it's worth trying if you like sweets, but personally I wouldn't wait in line for them. I'd get it to satisfy my craving, but it's nothing special. They're very pretty visually but for $6-$7 a piece, they just don't wow me. The employees are very nice and efficient though and the place was clean. It is small though so I can't imagine how it would be packed since I've only gone when they weren't busy. read more
Sign up for their birthday reward to get a free cupcake. Staff were super friendly and efficient. You order at the kiosk but they take off the items that are low on stock so you can ask them before ordering. We got the strawberry and lemon blueberry. Both were very sweet. I preferred the strawberry as the strawberry taste was strong. The bread was light and fluffy and the frosting was very thick. read more
Always been a huge fan of sprinkles and specifically came in today to try the matcha cupcake. It was delicious and the yuzu buttercream added such a perfect balance to it. Also tried the banana for the first time and it was also pretty decent but I wish the frosting was banana flavored as well. Would get the matcha again, but I think my all time favorite flavor here is red velvet as it never disappoints every single time. read more

I forgot that there was a sprinkles at the Irvine spectrum. Overall you can order by using the cashier easily. There are also people there to help you with your order. Overall, definitely easy to place an order and then quickly receive it. They have cupcakes and also the mini sampler which is always great. read more

Honestly I've always wanted to try Sprinkles cupcake and since they collabed with one of my favorite mobile games it felt like a perfect excuse to finally try it! This location is in Irvine spectrum so there's plenty of parking available especially in the parking structure. The store itself is so cute and walking into the bakery smelled amazing! I pre-ordered my cupcakes in advance and went to go pick them up with no problems. The workers did seem sort of impatient even though I was the only customer in the shop. The cupcakes for the collab were so cute looking, and I got my redemption code with no issues! However, these cupcakes tastewise were incredibly disappointing. These were supposed to be lemon blueberry cupcakes with raspberry frosting. The frosting is overly sweet with no flavor and felt almost a bit gritty. It completely drowns out any flavor in the cake. I tried the cake alone, and it was dry. The blueberry lemon flavor was almost nonexistent, I didn't taste any lemon and the blueberries were incredibly lackluster. I've heard their signature flavors are pretty good, so it may have just been the collaboration cupcakes that were tasteless? Honestly it tasted a bit stale, and I went the very first day of the collaboration. Either way, I would not recommend this flavor to anyone and I'd be hesitant to go back to Sprinkles to try their other flavors. There's better cupcake places and bakeries in the OC area. You're better off going to Nothing Bundt cakes or Susiecakes, or even a grocery store honestly. Since it was a collaboration these cupcakes cost $6 each, their normal cupcakes seem to be in the $5 range but I wouldn't pay that much for these again. At least the cupcakes made for cute pictures! read more

Rude af workers for the Honkai star rail event. I went there and I asked if I ordered 3 cupcakes can I get the march 7th code and they said no it's per order. So I did 3 separate orders and they refused to give me the cards until I pestered that it wasn't for my but for one of my friends birthday and another friend who was working that day. The girl told me it was per order and the dude working the shift wouldn't give us the cards until they finally caved into doing so. Why is it such a big deal to give out a card It's per order is it not and it's not harming anyone? Also it's the last day for this event. Won't be coming back for the next collab they offer here at this location. Update: the cupcakes in the bag got smushed the boxed one was fine but if you are asking for a single cupcake ask if it can be in a small box bc my cupcakes for my friends were ruined. read more
