Grilled shrimp on skewers
JP M.

This is not her first time going to this wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. The service is terrific. The dishes are very generous and portion and very flavorful. I spoke with Cindy the manager and she informed me that the restaurant has been around for over eight years, and that they go every morning to the market for fresh and gradient. This shows in the calibre and the quality of the food The prices are quite reasonable given the quality of the quantity of food that is provided. We highly recommend it. It has become a go to place when we see Vietnamese food.

Affordable and Family Friendly! We stopped into Spring N' Fresh Rolls after a long day during a family outing. We were not in the mood to drive back home before eating and the kids were hungry. I Googled restaurants in the area and we decided on this place to eat. Spring N' Fresh Rolls serves their Take on Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. On the visit, we tried some of our favourites like the House Special Pho, Grilled Beef and Pork Vermicelli, Mixed Vegetables and Tofu Noodle Soup and of course, a couple of orders of Crispy Spring Rolls and for dessert, the kids had the Thai Five Flavour Fruit Dessert. The food was inexpensive and for the price surprisingly good. We also noticed that all of our dishes tasted fresh and it did not seem like anything was frozen. This is a great place for Viet-Thai cuisine which serves very good food at an affordable price, with generous portions. It is family-friendly and offers some discounts when you pay cash. If we are in this area again and looking for an affordable place to eat with good food, then we will stop in again.

Bang for your buck. Everything tastes fresh and not frozen. I enjoyed the rice dish and my husband enjoyed the vermicelli. Alot of food and we were pretty stuffed. We couldn't even finish the spring rolls which were really good! Got to pack it up and take it home to finish. They definitely packed those spring rolls... Hefty lil thing. I would like to try their pho - it seemed light which I liked when they gave me a sample with my rice dish. They do provide booster seats so you can eat with you lil one. Also cash 10% discount. I'm not sure if there was a minimum. Service was good, they were always doing something and cleaning tables. Great turnover.

Yummy and affordable Vietnamese cuisine. We ordered the house special pho, chicken spring rolls, and the grilled chicken vermicelli to go. The house special pho was packed with noodles and meat - it also came with a few rare pieces of beef. No problem, we reheated the broth so we were able to cook the beef. The broth was okay - I think it needs more depth as it was missing the deep meaty flavour. However, the chicken spring rolls were very crispy and definitely were fried fresh. Make sure to dip the rolls in the fish sauce for extra flavour! My favourite was the grilled chicken vermicelli which was a refreshing dish that came with crunchy nuts and veggies to mix in. The ingredients tasted fresh and the portions are generous, making it a tasty filling meal. The prices are affordable for the portions you get. Would recommend if you're looking for a good bowl of noodles!

We discovered this affordable Vietnamese restaurant quite by accident. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised by their quiet and courteous service. A young man served us water as soon as we sat down, and when I commented that the water was a little on the warm side, he quickly provided us with a plastic cup full of ice cubes. We ordered the Grilled Pork Chop & Chicken with Rice and Grilled Beef & Chicken with Rice. The presentation of the food was superb. There was a broth soup, salad, and a sweet sauce to go with our orders. We would have loved to give them a higher rating, but regrettably the chicken and beef were a little rubbery in texture and the pork was not marinated properly. We did note that the restaurant is family friendly and there is a 10% discount offered for cash orders over $35 (before taxes). Also, this place does not demand a tip from its customers like so many places do these days.

Good but I ordered Shrimp rolls for the small container the owner was kind enough to say sorry and I was able to get a partial refund on uber eats! I order from them all the time, this is not going to stop me from ordering again because the rolls are so fresh!

Tom yum noodle soup (tofu).

Perfect and huge! The veggies stay crisp for a long time and the broth is wonderful. I hear the lunch specials are good too!

Pork chop egg rice, spring rolls, and regular pho

Giving 5 stars for what it is Affordable, massive portions of food, and decent/quick service. Get your Viet fix for pho and bun here. Two sizes of pho, regular and large. Both are massive and can be shared. The pork chop with fried egg and rice was delicious. Pho had tons of noodles and reasonable amount of beef Spring rolls were awesome. Large and crispy At the time they had a promotion where if you spent $12 per person, you get a free drink (only available until August 2018 I think). I got Thai coffee which was very good, and wife got lime juice which was refreshing, she found it sweet. Oh and very reasonable prices. Regular pho is below the double digit mark. Will definitely be back

Great pho spot located near Eglinton town centre and Eglinton movie theatre. This little place is a great restaurant to pick up some Vietnamese food either take out or to dine in. Pros: 1) Huge Portions (Great bang for buck) 2) Cheap price (everything on the menu under $15!) 3) Free Ice coffee for every $14 spent on the total bill 4) Cozy and clean (Compared to other restaurants of the same type) Cons: 1) For certain promotions they only accept cash

A lot of confusion at this newly opened Vietnamese and Thai restaurant Spring 'n Fresh Rolls. As I was standing near the door waiting to be acknowledged. The feel is authentic enough as a lot of Vietnamese speaking patrons and the side veggie that goes with whatever at the next tables were the freshest I seen in GTA. Goi Cuon Bo Ga ($5.50) Grilled Chicken Roll as a snack since I am going to have dinner in 90 minute or so was perfect. Grand Opening Special till June 30 for dine in but you need to order $25 pre tax... I guess I need to with some one.. Cash or Interac only!

Specifically marked on our order no peanuts due to an allergy. Pad Thai comes out with peanuts on it. Appetizer dish of fresh spring rolls came out last out of four dishes.

201 house hair special!!!!
Neth N.

I ordered house special 201, half way to the on eating I found a long hair inside the the pho. I am disgusted and never took a single bite from it after. Plus I still got charged $5 for it...

Blue beef brisket meat

I ordered through Uber Eats. Once I got my food, It was disgusting. First, I ordered 203 Brisket Beef Noodle Soup. My beef brisket had blue parts which did not look normal. I didn't feel safe eating it. Then I found a dead fly on the beef. I was DISGUSTED. I didn't even get to enjoy my food. Second, I ordered 607 Grilled Pork Chop, Beef, Chicken and Fried egg. Everything was burnt and overcooked. The bottom of the egg was black. The meats were so overcooked that you couldn't even bite into it. This will be the last time I order from this place.

Clean Cutlery/chopsticks brought to the table in a pitcher half filled with steaming hot clean water.

Absolutely love their beef brisket pho. However I wasn't fond of their spring rolls and their chicken pad Thai.

Food was excellent and service was accommodating. I had beef rib pho and complimentary warm tea. The sauce to go with the beef rib was quite good. I got the rest of the pho to go, as it was a huge serving. It was a bit of a challenge trying to put the contents of the huge bowl into the takeout containers and I imagine other people have this same issue. Will definitely be back. Next time I'd like to try their banh xeo and com sườn bì chả.

They specialize in meat platters where you can create DIY fresh rolls. The platters come with lettuce, mints, vermicelli, rice paper and house special sauce. They also have pho, rice, and vermicelli dishes as well. Washrooms are located downstairs which are not accessible. They only accept cash (with a 10% cash discount) or debit. I previously have had Anh Dao for take out before - their pork sausages (nem nuong) are delicious and perfect when you wrap them with vermicelli and fresh herbs. Even when I got take out, the restaurant gives you plenty of fresh ingredients to create your own fresh rolls. I recently went to Anh Dao for lunch to dine in at the restaurant on a Friday around 12:30pm. The place was pretty quiet as it seemed like I was their first customer that day. During my time there, there was another party of 2 that also came in to eat lunch. I opted for the house special soup pho ($19.95). Service was friendly and my food came at a reasonable time after I ordered. The house special pho included slice rare beef, beef brisket, beef balls, and tripe. The soup was slightly sweet with a nuttier flavour. The noodles were unfortunately not the fresh kind but there were ample beef ingredients in the bowl of pho for the price you are paying. I love how in addition to siracha and hoisin sauce, there is also ground up chili sauce as well as a pickled sliced garlic and jalapeno pepper mixture at the table. Moreover, you get bean spouts, a red chili pepper, fresh herbs, and lime that you can add to your pho broth. Overall, a tasty bowl of pho where the quality of the beef was good. Anh Dao is a tasty option for Vietnamese food in the College and Spadina area. Definitely do try their meat platters as they are quite delicious!

The store front looks inviting and once inside the thought and details of the interior speaks to their experience in welcoming diners. Beautiful inside with a fresh and clean vibe. I had a fish cake with dill vermicelli soup which was delicious. It came with the usual side of sprouts and greens to use as toppings. My bill was $23 with tip on my card for the soup. Service was quick and efficient with plenty of staff around to help you enjoy the experience. The front patio is really nice! Will be a great spot to eat while people watching at this iconic corner.

I tried to finish the broth because it was so good. I would have given that first bowl 4 stars! Today was terrible! It just felt like a super water-downed broth that I didn't want to drink. Everything was just boiled and dumped in a water-downed soup base. The least they can do is use broth and dump it in the seafood tomato based soup. This was a 9pm dinner. They had their own family visiting to close up shop at 11. I tried asking them what happened to the broth today but they didn't speak English or just decided not to. It was disappointing for a bowl of $21 + tax noodle that was just pretty bland tonight even though it looked the part.... Sigh 2 stars today but couldn't average it out to 3 because now I remembered the spring rolls from the first visit were soggy Yes they are friendly but don't know if it's a place you should come before 7pm to catch the good broth?

The dry noodle dishes under the green column use egg noodles & those under the brown use rice noodles but the toppings & sauce are the same. The most pricey rice noodles are Japanese but otherwise the difference is width. Got the thin egg noodle version in large. It's recommended to add pickled garlic & red vinegar. The soup was pretty tasty with a natural sweetness, 2 springy half fishballs & a large, very fresh shrimp. The sauce was basically oyster sauce but pickled garlic, red vinegar, hoi sin & chili sauce were available to add complexity. The noodles weren't wet but were not dry either. Large was a very big bowl it came with minced pork, thin sliced pork beansprouts & greens. The pickled garlic was good. Also got a shrimp fritter on the side for $2.50. It was big with one tiny shrimp. The juxtaposition was comical but it was cheap. It was not warm but the fritter was crispy & tasty. Unfortunately the shrimp itself was dry & brittle. Service was good, especially for an Asian place.
