Pho Saigon is a reliable spot for authentic Vietnamese comfort food, especially if you're craving a warm, flavorful bowl of pho. The broth is rich and aromatic, with generous portions that leave you satisfied. Their spring rolls and vermicelli dishes are also popular, offering fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The restaurant is clean, casual, and great for a quick lunch or relaxed dinner. Service is typically fast and efficient, though it can vary at times. Overall, it's a solid go-to in Pickering for consistent Vietnamese cuisine at a reasonable price.

Decent Vietnamese food needs some extra love in the house that built it. Lunch here was pretty tasty and satisfying, i really enjoyed the fresh rolls and the chicken curry and rice dish. The service was fast and friendly by a young girl whom I forgot to get her name. She was very helpful and attentive. However the restaurant itself is in need of a cleanup and a fix up. It's old and drab, you can tell it's worn down. The sign outside is new but it's time to change the inside. And get rid of that tv, there's no need for CP24 when I'm trying to enjoy a nice meal. I've been here before and I'll be back, but maybe for takeout next time.

They have lot of vegetarian options which is my fav part. Ambience is good for a pho place. Their pho for a rainy evening is bliss! Pricey for a pho around 17$. Service is great!

Food, service & ambiance were all great. Washroom clean, too. Lovely music background. Doing good business. Will be back.

We ordered rice with pork chops and beef. Beef was dry but porkchops was good. Added sunny side egg and a side chicken soup which was great. The plate overall was average - nothing memorable. Not great or bad. Fish sauce was a bit too strong - as in not enough lime/lemon in it or sugar. The tea cups were a bit chipped. Pho - medium size was huuuuge with lots of noodles. Meat was ok. Overall good experience and would go back. Not memorable but good location and Durham doesn't have much to offer in terms of good Vietnamese. Best around if you're willing to drive to Ajax from Pickering is "good pho you." Pho Saigon probably the best around pickering though. Oh and service was great!! Waitress was sweet and quick and attentive without being too much.

I was in Pickering last night and craving Vietnamese food. Pho Saigon showed up as the closest place and so my boyfriend and I went. It's located in a plaza with the Works and across from the Loblaws and GoodLife Fitness with ample parking. When we arrived, the dining room was only half full. By the time we were eating and leaving it was pretty full. We were ushered to a booth and it was very spacious. Both my boyfriend and I ordered the pho house special. The sizes come in M, L, and XL. I got the M and my boyfriend got the L. The portion size was huge. The broth tasted delicious. And I thought they were very generous with the meat. We also ordered the four piece deep fried spring rolls and they were really tasty too. It comes with fish sauce and the pho comes with fresh bean sprouts, mint, and lime. The prices were very affordable too. However, service was a bit slow but it was only because we didn't know we had to pay up at the front. Would definitely come back here again if I'm craving a hearty bowl of soup in Pickering.

Average pho, but good service! The pho broth was very average. I wish there was more flavour on their broth. The first time I went there, I had their house special pho, and the broth was pretty tasteless which was very sad. The noodles and other components were quite good, so having tasteless broth made it even more sad. But the second time I went there and got the same pho, it was much better, meaning that the broth had some flavour, but cannot say that was a pack of flavours like the one that I tried in Vietnam. Their size dishes like spring rolls, summer rolls are quite good, but a little bit pricy size for the portion. The flavour of their spring rolls is quite good and enjoyable. Overall, it was a decent experience. I may come back to try their Pad Thai or other dishes.

Need to confess that we live in Pickering, but this is not our go-to for pho...first visit back (since COVID) for a dinner date with my 7 yo. Food is good, but not my favourite place for pho and other Viet dishes, but will definitely return again in the near future as I was quite impressed and felt very safe dining here. They have strategically placed 8 tables to meet the current COVID distancing and diligent with checking everyone's vaccination and ID as soon as patrons enter the resto to dine-in. Totally recommend for anyone who may be hesitant on dining out due to the less-than-comfortable distance between patrons (as I have at some restos).

I wasn't happy with the service! The Pho was tasteless! Scarborough has the best Vietnamese restaurants!

One of our Pickering take out and dine in staples. A couple favourites are vermicelli with spring roll and coconut Tom yum soup

We visited the OG location, and even though it's tucked in an area full of industrial buildings,…read morethe lineup was still out the door. This spot stays busy year-round for good reason. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and feels like a mini escape from the cold, gloomy city. The staff are all so kind and upbeat, it's hard not to leave in a good mood. The Hủ Tiếu was warm and comforting, with a rich, umami broth and generous portions of seafood and pork. The shrimp cracker was a nostalgic touch that instantly took me back to childhood. The phở was absolute perfection. Generous portions, liquid gold broth, and zero complaints. The Gà Nướng is always a favorite to share. Crispy, slightly sweet coconut rice triangles paired with juicy grilled chicken and nuoc cham made for the perfect balance of textures and flavors. Good sugarcane juice is hard to find in the city since most are muddy or too sweet, but theirs tasted just like home. The avocado smoothie was also delicious, creamy, refreshing, and not overly sweet. There was honestly nothing to complain about. Proces have gone up, so its definitely on the pricier side, but they reflect the general prices of most viet spots

Located in an industrial area, parking is a bit limited as there are other businesses operating in…read morethe same plaza but in the evening it should be okay to park. We came here around 7pm and there was no wait time surprisingly. The fresh spring rolls didn't taste very fresh. It tasted premade and set aside since the wrap was a bit stiff. The peanut sauce was delicious, however I would skip this. The fried spring roll, was also not the best. The filling is dense and lacked flavour. The stars of the show: P1: NY's special: Broth tasted so rich and delicious, lots of beef and beef balls. 100% worth coming back and getting. I would suggest getting the M size unless you are super hungry the portion size for a L is huge! P9: Braised beef short rib pho, meat is falling off the bone delicious. Only comes in one size, broth tasted much richer than the P1 with different flavours. It's definitely worth trying atleast once. Overall, would come back for pho and to try other items. Skip the rolls altogether.
