We no longer are in the Austin area, but I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to him again if I needed a mover and see if he would come! Simply put Green Gorilla is the best in my book!!!!! Everything arrived in the condition I packed it with nothing broken. They are super friendly and willing to work with you. They are transparent in their rates, but they estimated the amount of time it would take to complete the move a bit low. For a one bedroom apartment, the move took 4 hours. Overall, the move was easy and stress free. I would hire them again for my next move.

I used Steven about 6 times (possibly more) for different moves and handy man work. I also got him…read moreconnected with so many other jobs based off of referrals I had given other people. To be honest almost all of them were fine... nothing went wrong and clearly we built a relationship if I used him so many times. The very unfortunate thing about this whole thing is on my last move (beginning of August 2023) he broke my big green egg and damaged my Peloton bike in transit. I didn't even freak out because he started off right... apologizing and saying he was going to take care of it. He hadn't broken anything else before so I tried to be nice and let him know we will figure it out end it'll be ok because I thought I could trust him. I didn't question him about it much until months and months went by without a single dollar or action and to be honest I was very lenient and understanding because like I said I've used him many jobs and I thought I could trust him. He told me his insurance was taking for ever, but he promised he would handle it. At the very end of October he let me know his insurance denied covering the claim, but he knew needed to pay me for my things that were damaged. He didn't pay me right away and once again I was as patient as I could be because of the relationship we built. On November 13th, over 3 months since the items were broken, he made his first payment. He made another payment November 16th. That was the last I've heard from him and he still owes me over $400. I have called and left voicemails, sent multiple texts over 2 weeks and still not a word from him. I work very hard for the things that I have and I paid him on time for all the jobs he had done. It's very unfortunate, disappointing and disrespectful to be treated this way not only after all the money and business I've sent his way, but to not to do the right thing whenever something goes wrong is not how things should be handled. I would've never expected him to treat me or anyone else like this especially with all the different interactions we've had, but it just goes to show you so many people rather not do the right thing no matter what you've done for them or how you've supported their business. I can no longer back Steven or his company up. I will no longer recommend them to anyone. I am also including pictures of the damage, pictures of what it costs to replace my items as screen shots of payments so you all know this is an honest review. Steven, if you choose to do the right thing and send me the rest of my money I will take this review down.

This is the second time I've used these guys and to be honest, I'll probably never use another…read moremoving company besides them. Kyle has been incredibly understanding and patient with my family on both of our moves - first loading for us to move out of state, then again a year later when we moved back. It's also worth mentioning that the other companies I hired to take care of the other side of both moves were more expensive, slower, and not nearly as customer service oriented as Kyle and his crew were. First, when we were moving out of state last year, I had no idea what i was doing. I kept changing dates, I didn't know how to pack a lot of stuff, I was just completely overwhelmed and clueless. Kyle took so much stress off of my hands and made me really feel like I was his best friend or something that he was helping out. The truck was packed so securely that we didn't even have any shifting or mishaps at all while driving a 24' Uhaul all the way from TX to SC. Then, I ended up moving back and Kyle was the first person I called, hoping he'd be available to unload my stuff. Sure enough, he immediatly answered the phone remembering my name, my move, everything and was already ready and willing to help me. I've worked in the customer service industry a long time, so stuff like that means THE WORLD to me, and really made me feel valued as a customer. On the day of the unload, Kyle called me 3 hours before our scheduled time just to be courtious enough to make sure it was ok for his crew to come early, which was perfect. They showed up, he even got in the drivers seat of my truck to park it for the unload, and they got to work. Our movers who packed the truck back in SC didn't do the best job and we could hear things rattling around during the drive, but Kyle's crew were so careful and detailed about everything, letting us know if boxes were broken or there were any issues before even touching it. They put up with our "put it in that room! Wait no, put it in this other room" with zero complaints. The offloading took a little longer than we were quoted for, partially due to my own indecisiveness and issues, but Kyle and his crew didn't complain at all. Kyle even came and did a big part of the manual labor himself just to get the job done quicker. Now, you know a good boss when they're willing to get their hands dirty right alongside their crew. Kyle has always been super transparent about his prices with me, and everytime treats me like he's known me for years. He's incredibly helpful, and makes sure everyone is taken care of - including his clients AND his crew members. I tell him everytime that I reccomend him to all my friends and everyone I know because honestly, I would recommend him to everyone if I could.

The owner Kyle is EXTREMELY unprofessional and should be out of business!! I will be taking my complaint further than a Yelp review, but I thought I'd start here to make sure people are aware of this unacceptable and disrespectful way of "doing business". We had a contract in writing that said they would be there to move us out at 10am on Thursday morning. We took off of work to arrange this scheduled plan. On Wednesday evening he advised that he wouldn't be able to show up until between 2-3pm on the day of our move-- this was later than we wanted, but still early enough, so we went with it. At 2pm on Thursday he advised that the time would be 3pm-- ok, we waited. Absolute crickets, we heard NOTHING from this Kyle and his "company" until my husband finally text him at 4pm... NOTHING. 4:30pm and my husband calls him-- Kyle answers and says "oh I was about to call you, I'm 15mins away" Kyle then begins to say there was traffic. Ok... we waited. At 5:39pm Kyle finally calls my husband to say he's at the gas station down the street and that had to use the restroom, eat and get something to drink. Kyle then shows up to the house 10mins later-- he and my husband go through the house to see what the job is. He then vents to my husband about how poorly the last job he had was and then finally says that because of that last job, he's out of moving pads and will need to go to the store to get some. It was well past 6pm at this point and he doesn't arrive back to the house with the pads until 7:50PM at night!! And what's worse, he didn't even buy enough pads!! Initially when Kyle arrived, it was just he and one other mover. When he came back from the store at almost 8pm, he brought 2 more guys-- a total of 4.The move wasn't finished until around 10:30pm and it was a terrible moving job-- our household items and boxes were NOT professionally or properly placed in the moving truck and because they didn't load the 26ft truck properly, our stuff from our small house didn't even fit. Kyle suggested that we get another truck and a storage unit-- at this point we just wanted this guy out of the house. So, NO. My husband complained that night and was given attitude and Kyle even raised his voice. And when I called today to file a complaint, Kyle became automatically defensive, didn't listen, talked over me, yelled and preceded to tell me that I was "bitching". This guy Kyle and his "company" are unprofessional vultures who have no business being in business. Absolutely unacceptable, belligerent, disrespectful behavior toward customers and their time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, go to the actual professionals who will respect their customers, their time and who actually know what they're doing. Needless to say we fired Kyle and his company from finishing the job that would have been complete on Saturday (unloading the truck), and found professionals!
