Loco Moko. It was excellent !

We haven't been to this place before for dinner and man we're we blown away. The place is small and quaint. Service is excellent. They were all over us making sure we had everything. I got the special that day, Loco-Moko (It was excellent). The wife got the Salmon and finished everything. Our friends got the Steak and Chicken Sandwich and both were very happy with everything. I asked at the end of the meal if they would order their dishes again. All agreed, yes ! You guy rocks. Keep up the great work. PS. We did make reservations. Make sure you check before showing up cold on a weekend.

I was visiting Orange, Virginia and it was very difficult finding a restaurant that was open on New Year's Eve. Luckily Spoon and Spindle had good reviews so I wanted to give it a try. I had reservations for 7:30 and upon arrival there were at least five tables in front of me still waiting to be seated. The place is nicely decorated, but on the smaller side. There is only a dining room, no bar. Although there was a bit of a wait to get seated, our drinks and food came out fairly quickly. The mixed drinks were not good. Next time I would stick to wine but the food was okay. The Brussels were absolutely delicious. The hush puppies were very dense and the Poboy was desperate for sauce. The service was pretty good and it seemed like all the servers work together. Definitely a friendly vibe.

We came here after a day of touristing near by and it was delicious. I have to start off by complimenting the staff. They were so friendly, helpful with suggestions, and so attentive. It was an absolutely delightful experience from that stand point. The menu is seasonal (if I'm not mistaken) and limited, which was great because we almost got to try everything with the size of our party. The absolute favorite for the table was the Bonsai Fries. We nearly licked that bowl clean and may have even ordered a second one. The Po Mi was delicious, as was the Garlic Noodle Bowl. The Braised Short Ribs were a tad on the sweeter side than our pallet likes, but it was fall off your fork tender. The Hushpuppies were massive and good in flavor, however, I feel like they were over fried because it gave slight burnt hints. We all left stuffed more than we wanted to be...LOL!

Taste 4/5 Portions 2/5 Service 4/5 Environment 3.5/5 the main issue is size of the carnivore scrambler being too small. it was ridiculously small in comparison to other dishes we ordered. Overall, it was alright and need to be selective with the menu if we return

This place is a fantastic brunch spot! The ambiance is lovely, and the staff is incredibly kind. Despite being with a large party, our food came out fast and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended if you're looking for a great weekend brunch!

We visited for Brunch, and Spoon & Spindle did not disappoint. We ordered the Bacon Benny Seasonal French toast, S&S Parfait, Spindle Schnitzel, Potato Pave, and Bread Pudding. Everyone shared and let me tell you the food was excellent and plentiful. The Potato Pave was AMAZING. Just an over all lovely experience. Fantastic wait staff, delicious food, and cozy warm decor. For me, this was an experience that will bring me back for more.

This place is so good!!!! We are definitely coming back. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the food was phenomenal, and the actual restaurant was charming. My husband and I stopped for breakfast while we were visiting the area vineyards over the weekend and we will definitely be back. You should eat here!

Great food and service! Food came out fairly quick on a Sunday morning. The music was also a plus!

Such a cute, hidden gem! Lovely inside and the food was out of this world. I tried the breakfast rice and it was unbelievably good. It is such a unique option that I couldn't stop eating. Huge portions of everything which made it easy to share. The bonut is also heavenly.

We were seated quickly and we noticed our waitress was Slow on getting to the tables for drinks and after about 10 minutes she came by and got our drinks. Upon her getting close and speaking it was very apparent she was very intoxicated and I remarked that it was sad about her condition. As we waited for our food we watched her interactions with other tables and she had problems remembering what table was which. She delivered food to the wrong tables and dropped other food on the floor trying to deliver it. Her fellow waitresses were actually calling her out in the middle of the dining room telling her to get her act together. When she delivered the food the hamburger steak platter was literally a dry hamburger patty that was old and had a thimble of gravy. the mashed potatoes were instant and had been poorly mixed because the powder was still dry in the middle. The glazed carrots were old soggy and brown ( see the picture) . We never got a bill because she just disappeared completely. We went to pay and the cashier was able to look up the order and we spoke to her about the waitress needing some help and her condition and all she would say is " we will try"

My wife and daughter both enjoy their dishes, but eggs were somewhat dry. Coffee was very good. It's a beautiful place with outdoor option. But the food is over hyped and pricey. The service was rushed. I still will go back. 3.5 rounding up for atmosphere.

They have a nice text system for their waitlist, so we used that. We waited in the back room, which had a few tables, a large stage, a pool table, and a jukebox. It was a fun vibe! Once we sat, we both got the cheeseburger- there's only one choice for a meat burger. It took a while to come out. The burger was pretty average. The server described it as a smash burger even though it didn't say that on the menu. The patties were a little thin, with standard toppings on a sesame seed bun. The fries were thin and nothing special. My friend called it a slightly upgraded McDonald's. Again, nothing bad but nothing special. I wouldn't come back, but there aren't many other options in Sperryville.

They neither responded to my email nor the review with any sort of explanation or apology which suggests that they don't really care. So I'll share this on Yelp too so others are aware of their poor customer service. We visited this restaurant with a group of seven and were excited to try it, especially because the outdoor seating area looked like a great spot for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being very disappointing. Service was extremely slow and disorganized from the start. About 15 minutes after ordering, a different waitress brought food to our table that we hadn't ordered, then quickly took it away without much explanation. From there, things only got worse. Our meals came out slowly over the course of 30-45 minutes, just one or two plates at a time, with no communication about the delays. Our four-year-old waited nearly 45 minutes for a simple order of fish sticks. Even basic service was lacking. We had to ask multiple times for something as simple as an apple juice refill, and it still took far too long to arrive. Toward the end of the meal, our waitress stopped checking on our table altogether, which made it difficult to order dessert. The food itself was pretty good, which is the only reason this isn't a one-star review. However, the poor service and lack of attentiveness completely overshadowed the experience. Overall, it was frustrating and disappointing, and we don't plan to return.

Their breakfast is incredibly generous and made with ingredients that were fresh, clean, and meticulous in detail. The design of their menu is just so promising with unique twists that are not unheard of, but just an elevated touch when it comes to American diner food as a whole. Things like truffle infused hollandaise, fried green tomato BLT, pairing balsamic with goat cheese, a blackened pork, even mushrooms on the breakfast menu all hint that people developing their menu are confident in their skills in offering something more when it comes to breakfast plates and sandwiches. Their homemade aiolis (highly recommend their pesto aioli) and hot sauce tie any dish together-- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Things made to this quality are not to be unremarked. Came in with friends so we can try everything on their menu, and we were pleasantly surprised on all fronts. Presentation, ingredients, preparation all elements that made our meals great and were evident across all dishes ranging from protein to carb. Details like toasted bread with already spread with butter, perfectly poached eggs, and brioche as the bun of choice were things we peeped. We would have left satisfied if these details weren't accounted for, but we were so impressed this became a revisit during our short vacation. Their space is greatly spacious, with an open drinks station so its just not pretentious. There is even a section in the front to pick up goods made by local artisans.
