Great Thai mom pop shop in Belterra. They even have a small bar! Spicy wings - great starter, fried with a true fish sauce Asian marinade. Pad-see-ew -lots of flavor! Pad Thai - delish Basil fried rice- also flavorful Ambiance is casual and low key, not fancy. Great to grab to gos but they have all the basics nailed.

I really enjoyed this authentic Thai restaurant. It's the best one in the immediate area. The steak for the tiger cry entree was amazing, juicy, and tender. The amount was just right. The dipping sauce, is so good I almost want to buy a jar of it. The noodles for the pad see ew was a bit over cooked but the flavors really make up for it. I do wish there were more broccoli florets but I'll ask for it next time instead of going straight to complaining. The Thai tea was good a bit on the sweet side but once the ice melted, it was great. The soda selection is worth mentioning too. These guys knew how to complement their food because these cane soda drinks are delicious! for the 2 entrees and 2 drinks, Plus tip, our total was 47

We've come to eat at Spoon and Fork a couple of times now. We enjoy the friendly service and the flavorful food. Glad to have this restaurant in the area.

Very happy to have this restaurant close by. The food was outstanding and service was great. Very friendly staff. The Tom Kha soup was so flavorful, and we purposely over ordered so we could have leftovers. Will definitely be back!

Kinda rare for Ol' Rooster to post an update. Recently revisited Spoon and Fork in the nearby Metropolis of Cedar Valley. First impressions I longed for flavors similar to my favorite Thai Texas destinations. Didn't return for some time. During the beginning of COVID, we didn't venture out too far and decided to revisit them. BTW, restaurant next door League went off our regular rotation because of repeated quality issues. I'm a Panang Curry guy; and wasn't overly impressed on my initial visit. Revisiting, totally blown away. Broth was fully mixed versus coconut milk added in the end. Very close to my favorites across the Lone Star State. Still wish there was a pan fried option for the dumplings. Spring rolls showed quality with the peanut dipping sauce. Shrimp appetizer was decent too. Been back twice since they have made improvements! No issues with COVID rules either!!

Parking & Service: Arrival was stress-free thanks to the massive parking lot in the strip mall. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. The Spice Factor: Interestingly, they offer two spice tiers: 1-10 and 10-15. We usually prefer a heavy heat, but found that levels 8 and 9 were still relatively mild. If you're a true spice lover, you might want to venture into the double digits! The Food: Portions are very generous and perfect for family-style dining. Everything was flavorful, though my one small note for the kitchen is that some dishes leaned a bit heavy on the salt. Overall, a great spot with big flavors.

The service has always been great--servers are attentive, friendly, and quick to clear plates, which we've always appreciated. It's part of why we kept coming back. We usually order the fried pompano, and it's always been a favorite. But the last couple of times, the fish has been noticeably smaller--like almost half the size it used to be. That was already a letdown. What really did it for us, though, was finding a plastic to-go cup lid inside one of our drink glasses. It was buried in there, and completely threw us off. At that point, we were just done. It's a bummer because we've liked this place for a long time, but between the smaller portions and that experience, we won't be coming back.

Ambience 10/10 Not that loud, light music playing in background. Was a good vibe and nice to listen to the live music. Service: 12/10 By far, I was most impressed with our server( yen). She was very attentive, gave us good recommendations and answered all our questions and was very friendly. The restaurant itself has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar. It seems like a nice place to have a meal. Pad see ew with chicken - I liked their version and would probably get it again. Pad woon sen with pork - typically my favorite noodle dish and I think they did a good job. Garden roll - good but not as packed as others I've had, and at a higher price point. Pineapple fried rice with pork - I liked this but was a bit on the oily side. Tom kha soup - I thought this was very good and had a decent amount of chicken and mushrooms Overall I liked everything but some items I felt I had better versions of elsewhere. It's also on the pricier side. Still, if in central Austin I think it's a solid choice for Thai food.

There were so many new dishes that caught my eye, but I immediately gravitated toward the Creamy Crab Curry and it was absolutely the right choice. Honestly, it's the kind of meal I could see myself ordering every week. My partner went with the Lost Recipe, which looked just as delicious. You can never really go wrong with fried chicken, and this version certainly didn't disappoint. The service was equally impressive. Our server was friendly, attentive and checked in regularly throughout the meal. She even brought us a complimentary crab pastry to try, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. One thing to note this place gets busy, especially during lunch so plan accordingly. That said, the food and service are well worth it and the menu is reasonably priced.
