First and foremost, I absolutely love CAVA. There are so many great vegetarian options that you really can't go wrong. I order from here often via Uber Eats and have never been disappointed until today. I ordered a bowl with my usual veggies, falafel, rice, super greens, schug, pita crisps, garlic dressing, hummus and tzatziki. When my order was delivered, I was disappointed to find that the garlic dressing and skhug were already mixed into the bowl instead of being on the side like they usually are. The hummus and tzatziki were also on the bottom of my bowl. I really wish third-party ordering platforms and restaurants gave customers the option to request dressings and sauces on the side. This has never been an issue before, so I was surprised this time around. I was also surprised to find a long piece of hair in my bowl. Don't get me wrong -- the meal was still absolutely delicious. I just would've preferred everything to come on the side like usual. This definitely won't stop me (if I find another piece of hair in my food that will be a different story) from ordering from or dining at CAVA in the future, but I hope there can be a little more attention to these details moving forward. read more

The "wrap" was not wrapped. They didn't bother attempting to wrap my wife's it was hilariously sloppy and gnarly. I asked the guy at the register if he could try to wrap mine, it fell apart immediately. The "wrap" was also completely doused in dressing the liquid was soaking through. The whole thing resembled one of those tik tok videos where they just dump stuff on a plate. In addition to training employees better at some point you have to hire people who have a basic sense of how food is prepared and served, anyone who just prepares basic food at home would realize something was very wrong. +1 star because I saw an employee showing a few other employees how to wrap pitas while we walked out. read more

I usually don't leave reviews, but today's experience at this CAVA was absolutely unacceptable. My family -- made up of multiple veterans -- has always been extended the courtesy of a veteran discount here. Today, instead of honoring it, the cashier laughed at our service and outright refused to add it. That isn't just bad customer service -- it's blatant disrespect toward the men and women who have served this country. Whether it was ignorance, arrogance, or simply a lack of training, it reflects extremely poorly on CAVA as a company to allow this type of behavior from their staff. If this is how they treat veterans, I cannot in good conscience recommend spending your money here. There are plenty of restaurants that not only value their customers but also show genuine respect to those who served. Needed to grab a quick lunch and I heard CAVA was going to be opening in Kyle, Texas soon so when a coworker suggested it I was quick to agree. The concept is the popular in bread or in bowl idea that is akin to Freebirds, Mod and Chi'Lantro but in this case, the bread is Pita and the filling is Mediterranean inspired. We got there just before noon and walked right up to order. Apparently we missed the rush by about 5 minutes.... But the service was fast and they were very nice and explained a few things to me (first time visitor and not the most well versed in Mediterranean cuisine). I ordered the Balsamic Date Chicken bowl which has an eggplant dip & red bell pepper dip. I ordered it as it came and it was fairly delicious. The perfect amount of food for lunch. Cava is a great spot for quick, tasty, relatively healthy Mediterranean food. I always call it the "Mediterranean Chipotle" since it's the same concept of building your own bowl or pita wrap. I've never been disappointed in the flavor, just the portion for the price (can easily be about $18 for a bowl w/upgraded meat and a drink). Complimentary pita on the side is optional. You select your grain or salad (or 1/2 and 1/2), your dips and spreads (up to 3), protein (upcharge for spicy lamb meatballs or harissa honey chicken), toppings, and dressings. Maybe it's just because I only got meatballs (you get 4), but my last bowl felt so small for what I paid. The flavors are awesome, though, and you can always add extra portions of toppings or meat. Spicy is relative and perhaps my expectations were too high but I didn't find anything too exciting that would say spicy. I like Cava. It's a good option if you're looking for a quick Mediterranean bowl or wrap. I like that you can choose to do both greens + grains as a base. They have a nice variety of proteins and sauces. Cava's sauces are truly tasty and the food is always fresh. My complaint about Cava is that it's inconsistent. Sometimes it's phenomenal and sometimes downright underwhelming. Also, I hate how small the spoons are for the veggies. Cava is yummy, healthy and consistent. It's my go-to for a good meal when I don't want to cook for myself. If you haven't been, Cava is fairly well priced, fast-casual mediterranean food with a "build your own from the ingredients" concept. They were counter serve and quick OR you can get to go through the app (which I was able to do and pick up less than 15 min later). I personally love the garlic sauce, the mix of chicken and veggie option, and a half-super green/half saffron rice bowl. Their drinks & added pita are just ok. This location is great, easy for pickup orders, and pretty well stocked all the time unless they are very close to closing time (which is the trend at every location). read more

This review is for this location. Let's me start by saying that I really like Cava. I first ate at my first Cava in DC around 4 years ago. I do like how you can customize your bowl. You can select from greens or grains or a combination of both. Second you choose your protein plus your toppings. On my first visit to this new location, I was shocked at how little they gave me. I asked for the greens. The bowl was half full at $9.99. I asked for the lamb as my protein and their was an addition charge around $2.99. When I asked for a fourth topping I was told that 3 toppings came with it and any additional would be extra. If the portion was larger it would probably get the 5 stars. Overall it's tasty but it's got pricier and I'm getting less so lost the two stars for that. read more

Let me preface this by saying I still plan on going to Cava again because I've had friends that rave about it, and maybe this location was just having one of those days! I asked for a grains and greens bowl, but they didn't have any greens. I asked if they had Right Rice, and they did not. I asked for feta, they were out. I asked for light dressing, he kept pouring it on. The food was OK though, and I loved the options they had available, but there weren't many available. There was garbage stacked up near the garbage cans. Used napkins all over some of the counters. The staff kept saying to each other what station they're in and then saying they're not supposed to be there, and then it really seemed like many of the people didn't want to be working there. There was food spilled all over the food prep area so it was all mixing in with all the other ingredients. Many of the food bins were empty, but maybe that's because they were out of several ingredients? Maybe it was a busy Friday night and that's why they were out of ingredients, and maybe it was disheveled because too many people had called off, so I definitely want to give it another chance because the food was OK and I've heard such good things from others. Hmmm. Not sure about this place. I'm middle eastern and was a little disappointed. First time in and I ordered the falafel bowl. It was good. But the falafel was more of a fritter. NOT FALAFEL. Falafel does not have corn in it and wasn't fluffy. More as it being uncooked. And didn't even taste like falafel. My question is... why is the humus brown. Humus should be a creamy white. Is it from a can? I used to own a restaurant and I had a choice of humus from a can and no way did I sell that! Would I try it again? My go-to when I'm craving a quick Mediterranean-style salad. I almost always get the Greek Chicken Salad with everything that usually comes with it. I love all the different flavors and textures in this salad from tangy to savory. It's supposedly only 600 calories but I think that depends on who is working that day. :) I've always gone at dinner time so there isn't usually a wait. The employees aren't overly personable but I'm not there to chit-chat anyway. The restaurant inside could be a little cleaner. Cava is like the Mediterranean Chipotle. They have rice, lentils & greens to pick and choose from as a base for your bowl, several different flavors of hummus, and a wide variety of protein options ranging from lamb to meatballs to falafel to chicken. They also have a lot of healthy veggies that you can add on top of your bowl, and my fiancé is a big fan of their pita bread. Prices are reasonable, and you can order ahead to skip the line too. read more

Pretty disappointing. Two of us picked out all the ingredients we liked in big bowls. Very large portions. We also ordered one drink, a diet soda. Maybe we should have picked one of the combinations they had because neither of us really liked our combinations. The flavors didn't go well together. I took about half home but tossed it later as it didn't appeal to me at all. My lunch partner left over quite a bit of hers. We went over to get the drink and there was no syrup in the diet soda dispenser. When I told the slightly beleaguered cashier, she said they had unsweetened tea. They didn't have any artificial sweetener though and I asked for a refund as there wasn't anything we want to drink. She said she'd need the Manger to do that. I told her, no rush, we'd eat and I'd come back after. I came back afterwards and the "Manager" or cashier said they didn't have a way to refund my drink. I'd have to send an email to their corporate office. I had her give me the email address and I sent it off right there. A day later I got a form letter back from corporate. They said they were going to investigate it. I wrote back and told them the whole story and never heard back again. I guess a 2 or 3 dollar refund doesn't matter to them. In this day and age, it's pretty sad what poor customer service that is. We won't be going back. read more
