One of my absolutely fav spots for a good sandwich in Austin! Sometimes sandwiches at other spots can feel a bit too casual but snarfs have FAT and unique sandwiches with super good toppings. I always get a meatball sub then add pepperoni and salami which Is the perfect touch is extra meat/protein. I also love their melted provolone along with their toasted bread which is really really good quality. Love that the people are always super nice and make the sandwiches super quick! We've been a lover of this location since they first opened a little over a year and a half ago and can't believe we've waited this long to commend them on their artistry and service! We've been to their multiple locations across Austin and they all are phenomenal, but we especially love this one for its ambiance and layout. They have a beautiful mosaic mural on the counter with a good amount of seating inside. Every time we've visited this location they've always greeted us upon entering, provided seamless ordering and a quick turn around on our order. PLUS our order always comes just as we ordered it, even with any additions we'v made. We've tried a variety of their sandwiches at this point and while they are all super good, hands down our favs have got to be the Big Fat Snarf, Italian Supreme, The Italian and honestly the kids pb and jelly (yes random, but damn its so simple yet tasty) We love the toastiness of their sandwiches and how loaded they make them all, plus they have a long list of options! Been meaning to try this place and finally got a chance to. They have a pretty big selection of interesting sandwiches. I got a Meatball Parmesan on white bread. It was pretty darn good. The bread was really good. Nice and crusty. Plenty of tasty melted cheese. The meatballs were rather unexceptional though, just nothing special. Staff were nice and I liked the laid-back hippy-ish feel of the place. I'll definitely come back to try something else soon. read more

I ordered a Mother Clucker from this location on UberEats for my lunch break. It separates the honey mustard into two condiments on the UberEats app. Don't worry, they don't drizzle honey on this. Everyone working was so nice! They were knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs and coworkers. The meatball sub was really good and their cookies were delicious. I also love that they are a part of Gift a Meal. What better way to celebrate snarfing down a delicious sandwich than knowing that the organization also gives back? I am new to Austin and I have ordered from here a handful of times via Uber Eats! This place has some of the best gluten free bread I have ever had. So while my Elite experience here was great, I do have to amend my actual review after considering the actual service and quality of food! Not terrible, but I think I will wait a bit before returning so that staff can train up and food becomes more consistent. The gentleman taking my order was very kind, but there were a few mistakes/clarifications required during the ordering process. My Mother Clucker ended up missing some condiments, and the meat was lacking in flavor. I did love the open space, and everything was very clean. Lately on a tour of ATX sandwich shops (even though Snarf's originated in Boulder - as a sign on the wall conveniently points out). Behind the beautiful tile mural wall all the staff was busy slanging ham and pastrami and brisket and Swiss and cheddar and the like. A new sandwich spot is down here, Sochaca. This chain replaced the former hair salon and doggy self-serve shampoo place on the busy corner of William Cannon and Menchaca across from Sprouts. Prefer this location over the other two locations I've tried on campus and in Bouldin Creek because it's much bigger and has more parking, and all the same salad and sandwich options. Service was fast and efficient, which was good because a lot of people were in the queue! Place was very newly renovated and clean with lots of seating options. Plenty of parking if you want to meet friends for lunch. I had the Snarf Salad, which was fresh and delicious and had a boat-load of meat. Will be back to try the sandwiches, which are priced pretty high but worth exploring. They seem to have on-menu and off-menu options. My husband wants to try the hot dogs, there are several options, and my daughter wants to check out the grilled cheese. read more

I'm excited to have a location further south and the ample parking is a bonus. The place was fully staffed and everyone was exceptionally friendly.
